Defensive Sale Needs To Be Ordered

October 19th, 2026

The Bucs are a team nearing an overhaul and the inevitable should be ordered by the forward-thinking folks at One Buc Palace.

Joe sees no value in sitting on veteran defensive tackles like A’Shawn Robinson and Vita Vea, or edge rusher Al-Quadin Muhammad and linebacker Alex Anzalone. They’re all 31 or 32 years old and have legit market value as the Nov. 10 trade deadline approaches.

These are all players the Bucs should be looking to actively trade. That doesn’t mean they should all be traded immediately for a lowball price. But there’s no reason to pretend all four of those guys are key cogs in the Bucs’ next Super Bowl team.

Joe also would be happy to put YaYa Diaby on the trade block. The contract-year edge rusher is sackless through six games this season and is likely to find a taker for solid money when he hits free agency. Do the Bucs really want to be in a bidding war for Diaby?

If the Bucs want to keep the offense largely intact for a new head coach, Joe would understand that. Baker Mayfield will be here in 2027, as will the core of the Bucs’ offensive line.

But there’s no need cling to veteran defensive players in hopes of a 2026 miracle, or in hopes that the next head coach likes them in ’27.

Oh, and does anyone besides Joe see the Bucs defense playing well without Antoine Winfield, Jr.?

    Trade Godwin now as well.

  2. Outrigger Says:

Godwin, AWJ, Robinson, Vea and Anzalone

  3. Todd Says:

If we’re having a fire sale, can we trade the defensive playbook? It’s practically unused, and apparently nobody can understand it.

  4. itzok Says:

Godwin deserves to be traded we are ruining his career. Vea, Kancey, Diaby can all go and should. Wirfs can go too as far as i’m concerned he’s paid really well and gets beat every game now. he would command a high draft pick. Hell I bet these guys all wish they would get traded to get the hell away from this poorly run franchise buy cheap owners and terrible HC.

I hate winfield I would trade him for a ham sandwich. He was made the highest paid safety in the league and soon as he was he has been nothing but injured, never plays, when he does he doesn’t make any plays. This guy disgusts me he was soo good for 3 years and now he’s average at best. He’s not worth anything

  5. Fishhawkbuc Says:

You wouldn’t get much for any of them. Possibly a 6th or 7th round pick and then Jason would draft a kicker

  6. Anon Says:

The offense will stay intact because it has absolutely nothing of value aside from the Tackles.

  7. Thesadpirate Says:

A lot of the vets need to be traded asap. Winfield, vita, Godwin all need to go. Kancey and yaya can go too. Just make sure Jason is shown the door otherwise nothing is going to change.

  8. Fishhawkbuc Says:

What’s up with Wirfless of late. Gave up two scams yesterday and several QB pressures???

  9. Fishhawkbuc Says:

    And two sacks.

  10. Popcornmike67 Says:

Joe I agree 100%. Also replace the DC

  11. ATLBuc Says:

I totally fking disagree! Just because we get a new coach doesn’t mean we have to empty out the cupboards. We have good players. The only problem is with the coaching. That is clearly evident from the coaching yesterday.
The offense was in a good groove before the OC decided to be conservative. The defense was freaking dominate before Bowles decided to go prevent in the 4th quarter . Keep Everybody and get new coaches. We have the #1 or #2 rushing defense in the league! And these are players you want to get rid of??? The corners are playing lights out when they are allowed to, and you want to trade them for Banks or sefarian Jenkins?
    No firesale, just new coaching.

  12. WalkDaPlank Says:

The offense is playing poorly so let’s keep it intact and change the coaches. On the other hand, the defense is playing well so let’s gut it and get rid of the coaches. The Rams suck. The Chargers suck. The Chiefs are back to playing well after looking terrible last year. The 49ers are playing famously well but the soothsayers on this here site say that Lynch is doing a terrible job. It’s awesome being a fan with zero accountability and perfect hindsight. And yes, I’m one of them. The Browns, Ravens, Steelers, and Bengals are within one game of each other. They NFC South is in a similar position. The only geniuses out here are the owners.

  13. Bobby Says:

The value is coaches & GM’s jobs are being saved by keeping these guys and losing close games. I’m beginning to suspect the Glazers will not be firing this coaching staff and we will go into next season again with this HC and revolving door of OCs every season. Go Bucs..

…I’m beginning to suspect the Glazers will not be firing this coaching staff
——————————————————————————————-The coach is getting fired. The only question is when. We need someone like Summerall from florida or Cignati from Indiana. No more recycling these unsuccessful NFL former coaches like Tomlin. We need an Offensive head coach. No more musical chaird OC’s. Pull freaking Sean Payton from Denver and we will be perinnial winners.

  15. Fishhawkbuc Says:

    @walkda – we suck more.

  16. Popcornmike67 Says:

The Bucs are a mess and it’s sad and frustrating that we Bucs fans have to sit through 11 more miserable games before any trades or changes will be made. I live in SW Florida and usually go to 2 or more games a year however, I will not attend any games this year

  17. ATLBuc Says:

Yesterday confirmed that we can play great football. (first half) and we can play horribly (second half) the common denominator: coaching

  18. Boycotting 26 Says:

What a sad state of affairs that fans are (rightfully) calling for 3 of the 4 remaining homegrown Super Bowl champions to be traded. The season after we lost M1k3 & LVD no less. I totally agree with Joe about these guys being expendable (add Otton to the mix as well), but due to age, bad contract, or injury, we’re not getting above a fifth for ANY of them. Last thing we need is Licht with 12 day 3 picks to waste on undersized small school scrubs.

I agree AWJ has been HOT GARBAGE since his huge contract. Him & fat lazy Vea can be the first to go (the freakin nerve of that guy to get fat(ter) all offseason while sitting out for an UNDESERVED contract). And I don’t want to hear anything about bowles using AWJ wrong either. He uses everybody wrong. That’s his scheme. If AWJ had some fire in his belly (he doesn’t), he could tell the media he’s not being used correctly, put some pressure on bowles . But apparently Godwin’s wife has more stones than he does, maybe she can call it in for him. Instead, he apparently gets hissy with the media and ducks out before they can talk to him like the thief in the night he is. ✌️ ya big baby.

  19. Todd Says:

You will not have to think about Licht with any draft picks-Bowles and Licht done

  20. jimmy Says:

bucs will get rid of the talent and keep the head coach cause he is “good with rookies” or “gets here early every day” or some other slogan sloshed out from the marketing / communications interns with a helping push from bloggers.

it will fit the current trend the team is in favor of which is get rid of everyone except for the goof responsible for the debacle.

some have been saying it for years (like me), bowles was gifted a SB winning team with the greatest qb of all time, and he screwed that up. he’s been continuing downhill since then. this is one long continual down trend. they never should have let him keep both jobs. not for one freakin minute.

others have been sitting back trumpeting the bucs narrative of “this man” and “division winner” or “look at egbuka he should be ROY” or “we are more violent now ” or “third best Oline in the league” or “who else are they gonna get anyway” or “look at us how young we are and how great we draft” or “well baker sucks, its all bakers fault” or “the OC keeps changing, look at the todd bowles coaching tree grow” or “cant coach effort”….or whatever nonsense jason lite and the team infers that they should say to continue to have their access to one buc place and the buc gravy train……

anything to keep the focus from where it should be and that is with todd bowles. until he goes, nothing changes.

people wonder why mike left. people wonder why coen RAN. lol so stupid.

  21. ModHairKen Says:

Do mid-season trades yield fair value? Every player should be available for trade, including Baker and Vea.

This is now one of those annoying seasons from the 80s where the season becomes about draft position instead of winning. And one draft pick is not fixing anything.

Hopefully, the Glazers — not Licht — are planning the future.

Bowles and Licht should be fired within an hour after the last game.

  22. Hodad Says:

Our best trade asset is Wirfs. His trade value will never be higher. He’ll be retiring before this team is relevant again. Don’t wait for him to get injured again, that also is inevitable. Put Chuke in, or try Barton there, he sucks at center. Trade Wirfs now! Trade them all now, then fire Licht before he wastes the picks on another Jameis, JTS, or shock the world Braswell!

  23. Jerseybuc Says:

Would have never resigned VV he’s cooked. Bad move. Robinson is balling on the line. Coaching is absolute joke on this team. How radio still in charge is comical and a smack in all the fans faces!!

  24. aBUCStruth Says:

In our feelings aren’t we 😂😂😂 could’ve and should’ve traded Vita in the offseason. Could’ve and should’ve left every free agent signings alone. Should’ve ridden ourselves of AWJ a yr ago. WE LET “JAMEEL FAIL DEAN” the bum beat us🤦🏾‍♂️. No real coordinator wants to work with Bowles. The GM is horrendous in every phase of his job. Should’ve been gone when Bruce left. LVD, you’re a SMART man. Mike Evans , you’re even SMARTER. Tykee Smith is not a safety, YaYa is a bum. We will find a way to lose David Walker or stunt his growth. Bowles should have never been our HC, let alone a HC for any franchise. Zac Robinson should be forced to do 5 yrs of Rec-League coaching b4 he even attempts High school coaching.MAYBE time for the Glazers to sell “MAYBE”. ZYON IS TRASH TRASH TRASH TRASH, the young man does not know how to play corner AT ALL. No All-Pro is playing 30 yards off a receiver who only needs 16 for the first down. To be out played by Dean is Career Ending. TRISTIAN WIRFS IS DONE!!!!! His knees are cooked his body is cooked TRISTIAN WIRFS IS DONE. If you can try to find someone who’ll give a 3rd rounder for him. He’s getting beat by NOBODIES, so many players on that Pittsburgh defense got their first everything in this game. Emeka is not who we thought he was, yes both of our QB’s are the two worst in
the league but dude not what we thought he as 👀👀👀 another Jason Licht draft pick screwup👀👀 as he’s done in so many drafts🤷🏾‍♂️. Bad lineman after bad lineman. Horrendous Defensive picks, n let’s not get started on his famous waisted 2nd rounder on a QB out of Florida. How bout we go back and see who we could’ve gotten instead of a darn Kyle Trask……😂😂😂 Dude drafted LOgan “end ya teammate career “ Hill and JTS the Jamarcus Russell Mark Sanchez of OLB’s. This FRANCHISE IS COOKED. Good morning and try to have a wonderful day🫶🏾

  25. FortMyersDave Says:

If you can get a day 2 draft pick for any of the players Joe mentioned in the article, I think you have to pull the trigger but isn’t this also signalling that the Bucs are mailing in the rest of 2026 and tanking for 2027? If they are, why not just launch Bowles, the main argument for retaining him is to keep the assistant coaches engaged in working to make their gameplan better, not calling their agents and looking for landing spots after Bowles’ staff gets purged. At least that is what Rick Stroud always talks and writes about. So if Tampa starts trading key assets, then heck, the season is over, let’s launch Bowles and Robinson to get a head start on the 2027 coaching search. New is that Mike Mcdaniel could soon be available as his offense is about the only one worse than the Bucs in the NFL and the winless Chargers are going on their bye week with Harbaugh promising big changes. BTW, Bucs/Chargers could be for the overall number 1 draft pick.

  26. Gipper Says:

Yesterday was Mayfield’s fault. He deliberately sabatoged future NFL MVP, Jalon Daniels. You will be able to read all about it when analysts oneilbuc, Melvin Jr., and Daddy Rod Munch post their analysis.

  27. FortMyersDave Says:

Jerseybuc: great point on Bowles. It is a slap on all Tampa Buc fans’ faces that Bowles is still employed. The Glazers have absolutely no regard for the fans by retaining Bowles. Who wants to spend coin to see this garbage week after week at RJS. The Glazers obviously do not care about winning, if they did, Bowles would have been gone by this past January at the latest. I wish that boycotting the team would force the Glazers to act but season ticket and concession sales are not the biggest slice of the pie. The Glazers make huge coin on the NFL deals. They can go Bidwell/Brown/Culverhouse and still make huge coin even if the team goes 2-15 this year and next. I guess one way to get their attention is to hold back funding for the RJS renovations unless the Glazers do something to show a commitment to winning such as launching Bowles an Licht but will the elected officals stand up to the Glazers?

  28. Oneilbuc Says:

Gipper. They lost and we are still 0-3 with Baker as our quarterback this year and 2-10 out of the last 12 games. JD is a rookie and Baker is a 9 year vet big difference between them you still waiting for Baker to get mad and play good lol 😆 🤣. Are maybe you helping him find the chip that fell off his shoulder after in the Patriots game last year lol 😆 🤣.

  29. 941bucsfan Says:

After bowles was kept last year, all these fans say they were gonna be tuned out and boycott this year…. I see that never happened lol. All the same fans are watching everyweek and crying every week still

  30. DS Says:

Robinson should have some good value

  31. Alanbucsfan Says:

The Bucs need a Head Coach that knows how to develop a QB.
Letting Canales and Coen go and keeping Bowles is why the Bucs are in the current state.
Bowles is a good Defensive Coach and he hired Canales and Coen, but he made mistakes hiring Robinson and Grizzard.
I wouldn’t mind Bowles staying as a Defensive Coordinator, but the Bucs need a Quality Offensive minded Head Coach who knows how to coach the QB position – I realize this is easier said than done.

  32. SB~LV 🏈 Says:

    Yes!
    Great points!
But the same leadership that is responsible for the mess are the same ones who would have to make the trades
    Do you see the problem?

  33. Gofortheface30 Says:

This is what good organizations do. They get out in front of it by unloading expensive guys who will not be a part of their long term future and acquire assets. Eagles are doing it now. Call it soft tanking, call it whatever. Idgaf. I don’t think fans should be so emotionally attached to people they do not know. I’m not trying to where the name of another man on my back. It’s unbecoming. It’s a business. Where can we get better and how can we position ourselves to be relevant and competitive. It’s time to unload the remnants of 2020. Damn near our entire offensive line can get lost too while we’re at it

  34. Jmarkbuc Says:

    SB~LV

You mean like the way the same people who have enabled traitor are the ones necessary to impeach him?

  35. BigPoppaBuc Says:

This is crazy talk… Trade away good players THEN go search for a coach? That makes no sense, Joes. We need a good coach to WANT to come here. The roster is pretty good. The guys your listing are good players on a poorly coached team. The defense is the strength of the team rn. Only person that should be on the trade block is Baker, bc no new coach wants to come in tied to a QB he didn’t choose, who’s contract will suffocate the rest of the team.
We could be a new and improved coaching staff away from being very competitive. I don’t understand the idea of firing Bowles AND blowing up the roste, unless we’re also getting rid of Licht.

  36. Frank Pillow Says:

The last time our GM did something bold and remotely interesting was 2020-21. Right now he has a paper bag over his head and is trying hard to distance himself from this mess. We don’t have an abundance of top tier talent on this team.

That’s not to say the cupboard is totally bare. On D: 45 is a gem. 22, 23 and 25 are solid. 91 is a glue guy. 51 is a find. No idea what 3 is or isn’t. Everyone else are disposable assets. On O: 78 and 67 can be solid. That’s about it. 2 looks terrible. 14 is winding down. 7 isn’t a 20 carry feature back. 88 is just a guy. 15 shouldn’t be the third WR or kick returner. I could go on and on.

My point is, the coaching is atrocious and the roster is not as stocked as the GM wants you to believe it is.

At this point blow most of it up- start fresh.

  37. The Daily Coroner Says:

    Amen.
They just need to admit through their acts that rebuilding starts with trades. Unload cap money – Godwin now. Vita Vea also Diaby. Oh yea – Bowles and Robinson.
If Licht doesn’t see the light – add him to the list.
If the Glazers don’t want to win – sell the team to someone who does.

  38. Davenport Says:

    Diaby – he’s gone anyway
Vea – not performing to $
    Winfield – see Vea
    Godwin – age/$/production

All have market value and wouldnt be missed. Anyone else on 1 year deals can be moved for 6th or 7th round picks

Time to offer the new coach as clean a slate as possible.

  39. FlBoy84 Says:

I would be fine trading a couple of those mentioned, but not into a full blown fire sale because personally believe atrocious coaching is the root cause of most of the roster’s underperformance. Would like to see the majority of these players for a year under a new HC & revamped staff, with new messaging & schemes, before we decide to jettison legit talent.

  40. 76 replay Says:

    3rd and 16

  41. Hopes on 2027 Says:

Vea is a 3-4 type NT and I would hope that the Bucs go back to a 4-3 for their next coach. Wouldn’t that put the writing on the wall for Bowles if Licht starts trading away the players that best fit Bowles’ scheme lol

  42. can-we-get-rid-of-Licht-now-PLEASE? Says:

BWAHAHA – Joe your logic is sound – but you forget that Licht is a psychopathic narcissist – he can never admit a draft or FA mistake – he’ll be keeping all his players at the trade deadline – he is in the bunker Berlin April 1945 – stay the course

  43. Ugotrobbed Says:

Coaching IS the problem!! Start with that!!

  44. When is enough enough! Says:

I truly believe they are told by ownership to tank season to get 1st pick. I dont care what you tell me. Its so obvious at this point. No team comes out hot in first half and that flat in second half.

  45. Allen Lofton Says:

Losing future Hall of Fame Evans and David was the final straw. The 49ers are balling with Evans while the Bucs are crashing. It time to draft another Vita Vea, a Lavante David, a bigger Bucky. It doesn’t have to be a full rebuild. The core nucleus is there, it’s finding key players in the draft and of season veteran signings.
Bowles and Robinson must be replaced. Find a rising Head Coach that sees the potential in theBucs. The Bucs can be turned around in one or two years. At 1 win and 5 loses this season is lost.

  46. So Cal Bucs Fan Says:

Give Larry Foote the team for the rest of the year. I promise guys will respect him. Fire sale is so unfortunate, but has to take place. Why is our d-line either make a great play or horrible plays. We either make a play near the LOS or 7 yards down the LOS.

I’m not mad I bought Sunday ticket! Bought it just to yell at the TV for three hours on a Sunday!

  47. Mikebuc40 Says:

Agreed Joe, Winfield has not showed sense he signed that big contract.

  48. gotbbucs Says:

Godwin could be traded for a 6th round pick maybe, but the Bucs would have to eat almost all of his salary to facilitate that trade.

There is no way Licht is looking to trade guys that he just signed as free agents. His main play to ownership at the end of this season is that he brought in players that the coaching staff didnt use correctly.

These players didnt just forget how to play football when they got to this team. They got castrated by a micro-manager DC.

Same thing for Diaby, Kancey, and any other young player that showed promise as rookies and 2nd year players. This is the evolution of any defensive player in the Todd Bowles scheme. He micro-manages the natural instincts right out of them.
Enjoy what you’re seeing out of David Walker right now because if Bowles is back next year, that sack production will fall off of a cliff.

  49. ProffeserVonBrainStorm Says:

Trade Todd for a steaming bag of fresh cow excrement.

Probably too high of a price to ask but it’s worth a shot.

    He’s the Sultan of Suck!

  50. miken Says:

I agree 100% with JOE… BUT, Jason will be in survive mode and won’t sell one piece.

  51. Capt.Tim Says:

    So
    Now, we all finally agree

The Bucs are a bad team.
The offensive line is NOT a team strength
Our WR room is weak. Hurst may be our best WR.
IT IS NOT EITHER QBs FAULT.(well, the smart ones agree on this)
We still can’t pass block or pass rush.

Glad we are FINALLY on the same page.

Now, can we agree we need to fire Licht, Bowles, and Bowles staff
The New GM and Coach will want a Franchise QB,
We have 2 great tackles and a RB. A couple young WRs that may develop with a new coach..
a Young DT. A great Secondary.

    Now, we need
    1) cap space
    2) draft picks

We trade Vea, Mauch, Godwin, Mohammed,Anzalone, AWJ.
    That frees up cap space.
    And gets us draft picks.

Now, we just wait for a New GM, and start hiring Coaches

  52. BucsFan81 Says:

Fire Sale everything must go including Bowles and Robinson send them both packing

  53. john Says:

id keep ashawn. dudes an asshole. we need that. shop winfield, godwin

What’s up with Wirfless of late. Gave up two scams yesterday and several QB pressures???

Wirfs was fine. Daniels kept stepping back to avoid pressure right into the edge rusher who was successfully washed wide by Wirfs.

  55. Dennis Says:

Anzalone has been worse than dennis on all phases. Nit as good run stopper or blitzer as bad in coverage and still hasn’t faced elite back

  56. rrsrq Says:

    Trade the punter

  57. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

We’re NOT out of it yet.

  58. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

A fire sale is a horrible idea, Joe.

  59. PitTip Says:

    Trade Baker to the Eagles!

  60. Bucs Guy Says:

Why hasn’t Winfield made big plays? Because he’s playing out of position. His big plays are as a Strong Safety, but he’s been playing Free Safety while Tykee Smith plays Strong Safety. Winfield is a better SS than Smith. Period. Winfield can play both SS and FS. Smith can’t.

Who do you want to play SS? I Winfield, then Smith is a back up or trade him. He’s younger and has a smaller contract so he would be desired by other teams. If you want Smith, Winfield will have a limited market due to his salary, coming off injury and age.

There may be a 3rd option. Could Winfield be converted into a ILB? Just a thought. Don’t k own if the Bucs want that or if he would consider it.

  61. bucsfan1001 Says:

Get what you can. This team has no rudder and is going nowhere. Time to rebuild with the right minds in the building. Once they are hired that is.

  62. magoobee Says:

Wish we could trade that Baker Contract.

Licht, Bowles and the rest of crew, need to be replaced.

  63. drdneast Says:

All of you people calling for the trades of Godwin, AWJ, Vea and Godwin are thoughtless idiots. No one wants those high-priced players because the production doesn’t match the money. Smarten up and shut up

  64. SkunkApe Says:

Kancey, Diaby, AWJ. Ship ‘em out.

  65. T Man in Texas Says:

I have been a Season Ticket Holder since 1995 and have seen alot if bad football from this Franchise. This team is unwatchable for me. It is like watching the same game over and over again and expecting a different result….that is insanity!
No #1 receiver, tons of dropped balls. Predictable play calling. Always, trying to sit on lead. Defense can’ stop teams in the 4th quarter.
No reason to rush Mayfield back. He could get a more severe injury the way the offensive line is playing.
4-13 over the last 17 games. .ouch
The good news is that i am saving money because i refuse to watch games until Bowles and crew are gone.

  66. can-we-get-rid-of-Licht-now-PLEASE? Says:

here’s why Licht can’t trade or cut Godwin Vea Nelson Winfield Wirfs – Winfield and Wirfs were drafted in 2020 the SB year – the 2021 draft was the famous “special teams draft” – after 2021 the drafts were meh – see any HOFers ? so if Licht gets rid of the draftees prior to 2021 Licht will become a “non-person” in Buccaneers lore – just as Stalin erased Trotsky from any photographs or historical records in the Soviet Union, Licht will be purged from Bucs history and go down the “memory hole” – one of the “disappeared” – and Licht’s narcissism will not allow that

  67. jim Says:

Trade Gainwell to the eagles for a 6th
Trade Diaby to the Bills for a 3rd
Trade Godwin to the Patriots for a 2nd.
See if there is a good market for Anzalone, if not, then keep him only because ILB depth is poor.
Keep Robinson because he is a leader. Keep Vea because you literally just paid him and it would look bad if you traded him now notwithstanding the fact that ownership overpaid him and he will be 32 in a few months.
Trade Winfield for a 2nd because he costs too much for a guy who makes as much as he does.

  68. jim Says:

    CORRECTION:
Trade Gainwell to the eagles for a 6th
Trade Diaby to the Bills for a 3rd
Trade Godwin to the Patriots for a 2nd.
See if there is a good market for Anzalone, if not, then keep him only because ILB depth is poor.
Keep Robinson because he is a leader. Keep Vea because you literally just paid him and it would look bad if you traded him now notwithstanding the fact that ownership overpaid him and he will be 32 in a few months.
Trade Winfield for a 2nd because he costs too much for a guy who doesn’t make as many plays as he should.

  69. BigZ Says:

They can’t trade worthless 50. He’d have nearly 20 mil in dead cap space. That why I didn’t want his sliow out of shape self here.

Yaya and Kancey. They are on the original contracts =virtually zero cap hit.
Doubt you get much, but hey two late picks help us with the next coach. Both them do little to nothing. I’ve seen enough, move em

  70. BigZ Says:

Winfield carries little-to-no remaining base salary guaranteed money for the remainder of the deal. SO MOVE HIM. Duh.

Hes a small safety. .He’s not ronnie lott, he’s not steve atwater, he’s not ed reed, or cam chancellor, and he’s never gonna be. Those guys are game changers. Windfield, really isn’t. You can find a safety every year. In the second or third round

  71. LakelandSteve Says:

Trade Winfield, Vea, Gainwell and Chris Godwin. Out of all of them I would hate to see Godwin go but they should be able to get a decent draft pick for him and maybe he could actually play for a contender. Mike Evans is sure looking like a genius now.

  72. Boycotting 26 Says:

Jim, those are utterly DELUSIONAL expectations for what those guys will bring. Diaby sucks out loud and is only under team control for the rest of the season, that is NOT 3rd round pick worthy. Godwin is old, broken down, and severely overpaid. We couldn’t get a second back if we paid 75% his salary. AWJ for a second? Again, overpaid, injured, and sucks. Not a CHANCE that nets a second. The fact people think so highly of these guys after the lack of results on the field shows how we got here.

  73. Winny Testaverde Says:

    Won’t happen for a couple of reasons…

Any player with value will be pricey ( AWJ )

Most are stiffs on a 1-5 team

Bright Licht won’t admit defeat at the hands of his draft picks & overpriced contracts. And he won’t want to help the next GM either.
