Big Day For Emeka Egbuka Loading?

Numbers suggest a reason to celebrate for Emeka Egbuka.
If you just look at the numbers, it seems to suggest Emeka Egbuka ought to have a helluva day come Sunday against the hapless Cleveland Browns.
The Bucs, per Sharp Football Analysis, had the second-highest presnap motion rate in the entire NFL in Week 1. And when the Bucs did use presnap motion, the main target was Egbuka, who, per Sharp Football Analysis, was targeted on 30 percent of the pass attempts when the Bucs used presnap motion.
Why does Joe bring this up? Because in their loss to Jags, who used presnap motion a little over half of their offensive plays, the Browns got lit up by Trevor Lawrence.
Jags quarterback Trevor Lawrence had a 73 percent completion percentage on passes when Liam Coen used presnap motion.
So if the Browns bend over on passes off of presnap motion, and Egbuka was the biggest Bucs target on plays when presnap motion was used, it stands to reason Egbuka could blow up on Sunday at The Licht House.
Now, if only Egbuka would stop this nasty habit of vanishing from the Bucs offense, he may lead the Bucs to victory all by himself.

If e2 is in motion, yet passes the line of scrimmage, it’s unlikely that Baker will target him.

Baker has singlehandedly cost the Buccaneers 5 of their last 6 games – they’re 1-5 over that time. The Browns are 2-4 over that same span.
This literally can’t be a trap game for the Bucs.

Shedeur Sanders comes in to replace Watson in this game. I just have a feeling. We gonna put a hurting on the Browns Sunday. I will be happy to see a pass rush from the Bucs, and Baker play smart ball.

I’d actually be more worried with him right now than what I’ve seen from Watson, who is a shell of his former self.
With that said, this should be an easy victory of the Bucs – and I expect Baker to have a big day. Although, as I go through more film, I’m not as confident in that as I was a couple of days ago. Hopefully, though, Baker can finally look like a legit NFL QB, because he’s been awful now for a long time, and hasn’t had a good game since week 6 of last season.
