Benjamin Morrison Practices

August 17th, 2026

As Joe reported Tuesday, Benjamin Morrison would practice this week and Morrison told Joe his first real practice of the summer was coming very soon.

Soon was today.

Morrison has a lot to prove when it comes to his shaky health — and after that he has a lot to prove as a cornerback capable at the NFL level.

Last year’s second-round draft pick has plenty of skill. But there’s a long history of skilled NFL players who could never quite put it all together.

Regardless, Joe is encouraged. The Bucs need Morrison on the right track because their depth at cornerback is flimsy at best. Joe would be surprised, but not shocked, if the Bucs don’t add a veteran cornerback before opening day.

Bucs are stacked at CB. That Garnse played like a pro bowl player. And Josh Hayes has shown he can ball.

what am I hearing about Trevon Diggs ?

  3. David Says:

    Excellent.
They’re going to need him and the depth and completely agree, I would be shocked if they don’t sign veteran CB

What’s the over/under for when he’s back in the tub? Dude needs to figure out WHY he keeps tweaking things and get it figured out ASAP.

  5. Slacker Says:

Stacked at CB? Congrats on dumbest comment of the day!

I will be shocked if she makes it through the week without pulling her something. She’s a bust.

Should have grabbed the first round pick from the Detroit Lions that they released

Can J.J.Roberts play cornerback, as well as safety? i think during last years preseason, he was being cross trained at both spots prior to his injury.

    🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱
    Trash
A JL reach make up draft pick because the guy he was fixated on was taken before the Bucs pick.
That scenario has plagued JL name on the card too many times now!
Run BM into the ground for the rest of the preseason!

I am shocked they have not already added a veteran cb. It would be nice to see Morrison develop into a quality cb However presently that appears to be fantasy. He has trouble staying on the field. If he can stay healthy he has a long way to go before being a quality starter. That not likely to happen overnight. Then take McColumn who has a lot to show before he can be counted on and you have a very shaky cb position with no depth. How do you not add a veteran at that position?

Adoree Jackson still weighing offers as free agent.

DON’T WAKE UP JASON! He’s in his pre-season/regular season nap.

Pretty sure that was sarcasm and just BiggestBucsFan being a bit of a jacka$$.
The easy tip off was the Hayes comment, unfortunately.

Garnes CAN ball… but the pro bowl comment was over the top. If Garnes ever played himself into a starting role, it wouldn’t be the first time an undrafted player has done that.

Q: What’s the difference between Benjamin Morrison and Haley’s Comet?
A: Haley’s Comet appears more often!

  15. 813bucboi Says:

    Adoree Jackson would be nice

but as stated before, we are “stacked” at the position lol

    GO BUCS!!!!

  16. Fanofdabucs Says:

Hard pass on Jackson. Go watch his game film from last year in Philly. He was awful. Just a name at this point.

    Morrison
    Parrish
    Zyon
    Garnes

Add a vet CB after cut downs or get one in a trade.

  17. RagingBrisket Says:

It’s time to operate as if this guy will not be available and we can’t fill the roster spot. Another Licht pipe dream that will crash and burn. The list is long and depressing.
