  1. HC Grover Says:

More Guru stuff. Salami Salami Baloney

  2. LynchMob50 Says:

    Lee is my spirit animal.

Zero confidence in Bowles ability to coach a pass rusher.

As Bowles himself has said. It’s not effort or talent, it’s schematic.

The wide open soft as butter pee wee league caliber melted Swiss cheese pass defense has been weighed, measured, and found to be pure slop by the entire NFL.

  3. KABucs Says:

Well, there’s a reason a lot of people are picking the Buccaneers to go with Mesidor.
We need a player like him and he’s as close to a sure thing of an edge rusher, ready to start in the NFL, at this low of a pic. If the injury thing isn’t really a big oncern, then it’s all about the fact that he already in his mid-20s. Will play four to five years and then get a second big contract if he’s as good as advertised and stays injury free, and then maybe that’s all. He’ll have to be a unicorn to get a third contract that still pays him at an elite level. I would just be happy to have the guy for six or seven years if we draft him and he ends up deserving those contracts. I’m a okay with the pic unless we he’s already gone and Licht does some trade down magic

  4. KABucs Says:

I still don’t think Ioane would be a bad move. Whoever we draft at 15 (if we stay at 15) needs to be an immediate starter.

  5. MadMax Says:

Ioane is def needed AND an immediate starter. Messidor’s foot injuries seriously concern me. So does Jermods knee….we have to get this right with the first….and hate the pick ive been pounding the table for since november if you want, but the break down of our O line clearly led to the breakdown of Baker’s ability, plus he was injured.

All D after that one pick on O please, because I know we need a lot of help there too…(help upstairs with that D also, everyone knows….but here we are)

  6. LynchMob50 Says:

    @MadMax

Those who pick an OL in round one almost never win the SB that season.

We need depth pieces on the OL but not with a #1 pick.

That would be in rebuild stage, say after you fire an incompetent HC\DC.

If we are stuck with Bowles for three more years, let’s not give the Glazers more excuses to sign him to another extension.

  7. SteveK Says:

    Lynchmob50,

Wirfs was a rookie Super Bowl winner. Give me a trench player. Ok with O or D, but I’d love a trench player in round 1.

  8. LynchMob50 Says:

    @SteveK

I said almost never. But we had Brady. That’s where the SB title came from.

We need defense if we have any shot in 2026.

  9. 3.28.Evans Says:

Bucs future looks like 1986 as long as The One Not Fired Who Blamed Everyone Else But Himself For The Great Suck is still around.

  10. MadMax Says:

@Lynch, We’re already in a soft rebuild…he should’ve been let go, thats the very popular consensus amongst most, of course you know that already.

#1 player is QB, #1 job is keep him protected, then let the rest fall into their proper order.

  11. MelvinJunior Says:

@ LynchMob50 Says: “Those who pick an OL in round one almost never win the SB that season.”

“SUPER BOWL!?” Do WHAT!? This team isn’t going to the “Super Bowl” if you gave THEM the first 4-5 PICKS in this year’s draft. I don’t care if it’s Mendoza, Love, Bailey, Reese, AND an OT. Still Not Happenin. If completely healthy, with ‘top-tier’ coaching, and a strong GM (making the right ‘aggressive’ moves at the deadline), now they could possibly get hot at the right time, and make some ‘noise’ in the playoffs. But, “Super Bowl” – ZERO chance. WITH the Top-5 PICKS. That’s how far away THIS Team really is. Bottom-5 in the NFC. WithOUT the Top-5 picks.

  12. MelvinJunior Says:

@ LynchMob50 – So, how bout those who draft a QUARTERBACK in Round #1!?

  13. MelvinJunior Says:

I more worried about the Offense, anyway! I think as long as they’re healthy, they’ll clean a lot of stuff up from last season, and will be good enough, or at least competitive. I know you people ‘think’ our Offense is absolutely LOADED. But, it is NOT. Unless, Chris Godwin is fully BACK to being “Chris Godwin” again, then we don’t have even a Top-20 WR-room. And, I know y’all just loooove our Running Backs, BUT they also, are NOT a Top-20 room. THEN, that leaves us with Quarterback… Been a little while, since Good Ole Bakey Bake has played at a Top-20 level.

  14. MelvinJunior Says:

The Defense that is… Will be better. If healthy. 💯

  15. Oneilbuc Says:

He’s saling tickets for the bucs by saying he love the quarterback a quarterback that has choked in every do or die game when the game is on the line.

  16. HC Grover Says:

As long as Bowzo is coach. This does not matter.

  17. Stpetematt Says:

All of Baker, Bowles, and Licht are awesome. Our WR room is top 5 in the NFL. So is our offensive line. Therefore, our offense will be very good.

The defense needs some speed (at LB) as well as strength and tackling everywhere. Let’s get 4-5 excellent starters out of this draft for the defense! Coupled with some really solid-great free agent pickups we should really be cooking. Or baking, as it were….

  18. LynchMob50 Says:

    @MelvinJunior

You are onto something sir. Same principle basically.

Our only SB victories were with free agent veteran QBs.

Next year we might be choosing a rookie QB to eventually replace Mayfield.

Perhaps with a new HC and a real DC.

  19. Stpetematt Says:

Next year, Baker will still be our QB. As well as at least 4 years after that. Dream on…

  20. Whatevs Says:

    Yawn.

  21. Kenton Smith Says:

Ok. So me and old Junebug sure have fun listening to our favorite podcast together. Sean fits right in. Seems like Sean thinks our 3 crack reporters for our favorite team at JBF are the cream of the crop. Yep. Sean stresses production over potential. Yep. Sean stresses Baker Mayfield is our franchise quarterback. Yep. Sean couldn’t have been more explicit about our defense’s performance. Yep. He expressed the belief that leadership is critical. Yep. Hitting such great draft results last year and now I’m thinking this guy has got it going on. I’m impressed. Until he predicted we win 6 games next season. Well, nobody’s perfect. But you guys do a great job with the draft and I know everybody enjoys it. Keep up the good work.

  22. Joe Says:

“Those who pick an OL in round one almost never win the SB that season.”

    Say hello to Tristan Wirfs.

  23. Simeon4HOF Says:

Exactly why haven’t been concerned about Mesidor’s age issue, he doesn’t need to spend years developing.
Would be more enticing to add that beast of a DT had we not signed Robinson or if it was Vita’s last year. Seems the Nunez-Roches signing could be a sign Bucs aren’t leaning DT Rd 1.
Also have Roberts so kinda deep there rn, providing Kancey can achieve his goal.
Even more fired up about taking Mesidor after hearing this. Might not play 14 more years, but sure would be nice to have a star at Edge for 2 contracts or the next decade.
How cool it would be to have drafted the entire rotation apart from our newly signed #3 Edge from the Lions. Diaby, Mesidor, and Walker set at Edge for a good while. Let’s do it

  24. LynchMob50 Says:

    @Joe

    Learn to read. ALMOST NEVER!

  25. LynchMob50 Says:

Also @Joe, Wirfs wasn’t the reason we won the SB.

It was 1000% Tom Brady that won the SB.

Without him it does not happen.

  26. 3.28.Evans Says:

Doormatt needs a new set of Pom Poms. That’s some funny fluffery sugar, as always.

  27. firethecannons Says:

The pod is very cool but next time we need video as well.

  28. firethecannons Says:

I think like Sean 4 wins next year for the Bucs.

  29. HopeIn1Hand… Says:

To the Ioane smokers- I understand suffering through the performance of Graham Barton and the bad hair cut brigade that was the Bucs 2025 offence of line creates a desire for a hoss like Ioane. The Bucs’s 2025 guard play was reminiscent of those turnstiles who shan’t be named of the lost decade but burning #15 or any first on any guard is a tragic overreaction to recent OL performance for any team.

Drafting a tackle in round one is a fitting use of draft capital but drafting a guard never is. Quentin Nelson will be available in FA next year at around $20 mil and there are so many starting quality back-up guards in the fourth round this year. There are still quality vets available in FA but I’m not looking to any of those options to solve a problem the Bucs don’t have. The Bucs have a young, cohesive, experienced OL with a young, stud back-up OT. All they need is a swing interior back-up like Brian Parker Jr or either of the Iowa IOL left for the picking round 4. Back-up guard is a huge need but the Bucs have their starters.

  30. HopeIn1Hand… Says:

It was news to me that Tykee Smith had a bum wing during the collapse. That’s good to know because after a thorough rewatch he was really just a guy at safety in 2025. He had a few flashes and a few flubs but his impact was no where near what it was in his rookie campaign playing in the slot. He had a little DROY buzz doing what he does around the line of scrimmage in 2024. Dennis isn’t the sole reason the Bucs defense was so slutty.

I like Smith a lot- not as much as Bowles and I like the guy the Bucs drafted so Smith could move to safety Mr. Robert Parrish but in 2026 I’d like so see fire-hydrant Smith moved back to the slot and Parrish can have more of a year two Zyon McCollum/Izien role bouncing between safety, slot and outside CB.

Parrish looks like a great pick and so does Smith but with Bowles fighting for his life I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bucs took Keonte Scott or D’Angelo Ponds to add to their day two mighty mite collection. If they must take a day two DB let it be LSU’s AJ Haulcy. He has Smith’s trigger and pop but has length and ball-hawking center fielder talent in spades to go with it.

LOL guys knows nada about the prospects or the league
