Mike Evans Will Give Bucs Chance To “Counter” Other Teams’ Bids
March 9th, 2026Today, it is expected Bucs legend Mike Evans will start to get offers from other teams at noon, which is when legal tampering begins free agency.
This is pretty much expected (short of the Bucs giving Evans an offer he can’t refuse before noon). Evans’ noisy, fearmonger agent pretty much said as much recently; he was going to offer up Evans for all 32 teams, until roughly 24 hours after that statement when he issued a list of demands that only a handful of teams can meet.
But Evans, being the classy guy he is, will give the Bucs a chance to counter or sweeten the pot against any offer he receives from a team that grabs his attention, Greg Auman of FOX Sports reported yesterday.
So as Joe previously typed, the ball will end up in Team Glazer’s hands with a chance to win the game with 2.5 seconds left (Joe had to work in a March Madness reference — it’s that time of year).
Hopefully, that winning bucket is a slam dunk to keep Evans where he belongs: with the Bucs.

Get er done Licht and team Glazier. And let’s stop playing games with pass rush and sign Hendrickson while they at it.

When Brady was on the team ME and Tom had plenty of conversations about Tom’s why and probably advice to ME when and if he found himself in the same situation.
He has only a few years left as a football player, he like Brady has given his All to their team.
It’s a tough decision but
GO with your BEST opportunity to get to the SUPER BOWL!
It ain’t in Tampa folks!
