Kay Adams Delivers Another Gut-Punch To Bucs Fans

March 18th, 2026

Sad.

Joe doesn’t believe Kay Adams had any intention of throwing rocks at Bucs fans. But she just as easily could have given Bucs fans a knee to the groin.

On her weekday morning show on FanDuel TV, “Up and Adams,” Adams decided to list her top-five free agent moves by teams last week.

Sadly, two of her top-three signings were Bucs starters who proclaimed they wanted to chase a Super Bowl ring, indirectly saying they don’t believe the Bucs offer them a chance.

Tops on Adams’ list is, of course, is future Hall of Fame receiver Mike Evans all but telling Team Glazer to keep their loot as Evans took a pay cut to go to San Francisco, a team the Bucs beat last year. Unreal!

Then Adams’ No. 3 favorite signing was the Bucs’ best cornerback, Jamel Dean, going to Pittsburgh to chase a ring.

Sad days for the Bucs. It’s one thing to lose two valuable starters in free agency. Quite another for them to pass gas in the hallways of One Buc Palace on their way out the door.

    I wouldn’t consider Pittsburg a place chasing a ring.
They have a new coach and no QB.
Let’s see how often he is hurt.
Or watch him play man all the time and never have injuries.
Either way, I was tired of Dean and his antics (Missed Games)anyway.
ME13 is a different story and will always be telling.

I am however, over the doom and gloom. We knew they weren’t gonna spend money for Todd Bowels. He has to do it the hard way and maybe he will.

I’m excited for the draft. Watch us take Sadiq after all the defensive misses. 🙂

  2. Buc Fan in Phoenix Says:

I never saw her as being relevant in any thing she has to say ever.

  3. Jw94buc Says:

We got Brady, New England took five gap years when he left. Went immediately back to a Super with a new HC. That’s my mentality. The glazers are getting the five year window. You don’t make a Super Bowl run in the next five years. The glazers will be deemed medicare owners in my book. I understand our heart and soul of the team is gone. Guess what life goes on. It’s the Tampa Buccaneers not the Tampa Bay Mike Evans’ He’ll retire a buccaneer. The same way Brady did. Everything comes with a cost. To get Brady, a Super Bowl, and keep the unit as long as we did. We had to pay the piper eventually. I just wish the piper knocked, instead of kicking down my front door lol. Godspeed Mike. Tbh if he wins another Super Bowl. It will get him in to Canton that much faster. Look at the positives. There’s always a silver lining. Even if we don’t know it yet.

    All, I can say is……WHATEVER!!!

  5. Guzzie55 Says:

Need a top 5 pick to get a Drake Maye level player can’t do that winning 8 games every season the SB window won’t open till it’s completely shut

  6. Wouldn’t pay a single Buc to see this squad Says:

Who cares about talk show top 5 lists? They had Baker as an MVP last year through 7-8 weeks. It’s content for us morons to click on.

  7. Hodad Says:

Pittsburgh isn’t winning a ring anytime soon. She’s full of botox!

  8. DavidsHogg Says:

Get ready for Joe to post this everytime time some one includes Mike in a list

  9. Smashsquatch Says:

Turn the page Joe. I could give two $#!/% less what everyone thinks of ME & JD. They’re dead to me. And frankly, I’ll enjoy not seeing either of those names on our weekly injury report.

  10. Newbie Says:

what’s with the fascination you Joes have with:
    1) Kay
    2) an aging WR who decides to move on from average Todd?

One big difference- The Glazers don’t seem to be able to know when to move on from a lousy HC. Patriots corrected the Jerod Mayo mistake immediately- we’re on year 5 of the Bowles error (era).

  12. OLDSCHOOL1976 Says:

Dean just wanted to not see Tet McMillan embarrassing him twice a year.
I’m sure he’ll say Pittsburgh is a better place to live. His new HC is old school so
He won’t be able to not play cause he got a boo boo.

  13. HeavyE Says:

‘The Truth Hurts’ LMAO……we will not win, until #6 is gone!

When the most significant thing your team has done in the offseason has been to stand by a coach who’s so bad their face of the franchise wants out and takes a pay cut to do it, this is what you get. The rest of the offseason so far is a bunch of nothing.

Also, if the local media stays on this, when Bowles inevitably has another one of those “bad enough to not matter, but good enough to get by” seasons, maybe they’ll think twice about retaining him.

  15. Ballwasher61 Says:

This news is all the rage right now, 3 months it won’t matter. Dean’s loss is what? Nothing really. So he had a decent, not all that good, decent year. Evans harder to replace but I’m not ashamed of our wide receiver room at all.

  16. Kidfloflo Says:

We have 2 in the top 5!! That’s good right?

  17. David Says:

We all knew Dean was leaving because, even though he’s very good one healthy, there’s no way they were signing him to a big contract when he plays 12 games a year.
They already have his replacement. The only issue at CB is Zion needs to step up and show last year was a fluke. And of course, depth as usual.

  18. Kenton Smith Says:

StormyinFl. It’s not Joe’s fault that Kay Adams is fascinating. One of many words that fit and it fits Like a glove. And I ain’t whistling Dixie!

  19. Been there since the beginning Says:

It’s all good Kay, people don’t always remember that the truth does hurt. I’m not to happy about the way Mike made his exit, and throwing shade but it’s all good to. Retire from the 49ers to, if you hate Tampa that’s on you. You could’ve gotten the only thing you wanted and left when you got your ring with the man that made it happen. I wonder if you begged Brady to come here 🤔 Good bye Mike.

  20. Deeboooo Says:

We still talking about the “HOF” receiver with no first team all pro selections? Hmmmmm

  21. bill Says:

I think a better title to this post would have been “Kay Adams Delivers Another Gut-Punch To Joe” because real Buc fans have already moved on from who has left the team. They are no longer Bucs and no longer relevant to the 2026 season.

  22. Marine Buc Says:

    Kay Adams?

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

ME13 is TOAST – Good riddance.

    Bye-bye – I won’t cry.

  23. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

She’s got Etienne & CJ Gardner Johnson

Where Kenneth Walker and Alontae Taylor should be

Devin Lloyd is another great signing to a division rival, way better than Carolina signing Phillips.

Also, for all the Crosby fans, did you hear him whining about not being flown to Baltimore privately for his physical?

  24. HC Grover Says:

    Go Away Kay

  25. Outrigger Says:

I keep thinking Mike and his family are in for a rude awakening moving to San Francisco. Toxic waste, homeless people defacating in the streets, $9 a gallon gas, massive taxes. He’ll be lucky to get a 2 bedroom apartment there for the value of his house in Tampa. The People’s Republic of California is a VERY different place than the “free state of Florida.” Good Luck Mike

  26. George R Says:

When you are one of the elites it doesn’t matter. You are looking at it through our eyes. Mike is a multi millionaire. 20 million a year. He can live pretty large. He’s not walking down town SF and catching the cable car. He’s in knob hill, union square getting driven around in private limo, vacationing up in Tahoe. No more 98 degree summers with 99 percent humidity. He will be just fine.

  27. 3.28.Evans Says:

The Bowles apologists are coming with their excuses and selective choice of statistical burble to prove it’s not Todd’s fault. It was everyone else’s fault. So everyone but Todd got fired, 5 Bucs starters couldn’t wait to get away from him and now they’re mumbling about the draft saving the team. When the same culture exists to ensure players regress and suck. Yay. Go Bucs.

  28. Deeboooo Says:

Mike was the only one offered a contract tho…. How can you state the can’t wait to get away if they were allowed back in lol
