How To Fix The Edge Rush

March 21st, 2026

Channel Mike Ditka?

The Bucs have proven, just in this century alone, that building up the secondary in order to make up for no edge rush generally blows up in their faces.

If you plan to compete in the NFL, having no edge rush is a noose around the neck. And as Joe repeats, the three times the Bucs had an edge rusher(s) that quarterbacks feared, the Bucs had an NFC title appearance (Lee Roy Selmon), won a Super Bowl (Simeon Rice) and won a second Super Bowl (Jason Pierre-Paul and Bucs sacks king Shaq Barrett).

Currently, the Bucs are a sorry organization when it comes to an edge rush. Joe thinks YaYa Diaby is a nice player who hasn’t demonstrated since he was a rookie that quarterbacks wet their pants when they see him across the line.

This is why Matt Okada of NFL.com believes in next month’s draft, the Bucs should load up on edge rushers. And when those rookies arrive, throw them into the octagon and the lone survivor that crawls out gets a starting gig.

Biggest roster hole: Pass rush
Solution: Draft several players (including at No. 15 overall)

The Buccaneers’ pass rush struggled to seal the deal last season, ranking 23rd in sack rate (5.8%) despite finishing third in QB pressure rate (39.1%). YaYa Diaby led the team with just seven sacks in 2025, and the last Buc to record double-digit sacks was Shaquil Barrett in 2021 (10). While they did sign former Lions DE Al-Quadin Muhammad, who logged a career-high 11 sacks last season, it was a one-year deal for a soon-to-be 31-year-old coming off an outlier year, as his next-best was a six-sack campaign in 2021. Tampa Bay needs more electricity off the edges — that’s likely to be the team’s primary focus in the draft. Nearly every mock in existence has the Bucs going that way at No. 15 overall, with frequent appearances by Auburn’s Keldric Faulk, Texas A&M’s Cashius Howell and Miami’s Akheem Mesidor.

This Al-Quadin Muhammad the Bucs signed is very intriguing for both good and bad reasons. He has double-digit sacks so he doesn’t need Google Maps to find the quarterback. But he couldn’t start one game last year. Weird.

What Okada is suggesting is that AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht sort of copy Mike Ditka. Remember when Ditka ran the slimy Saints, he traded his entire draft for Ricky Williams. LOL

Joe doesn’t think Licht will lose his mind like that but drafting two edge rushers isn’t dumb. Joe gets the frustration some fans may have and just say, “Screw it, bring in five edge rushers and maybe you get lucky with one of the five.”

Licht is hyping David Walker, but how in the world can you realistically bank on a guy who has yet to work through a padded practice?

  1. JimBobBuc Says:

It’s hard to go from no pass rushers to something reasonable. Even YaYa can’t sniff 10 sacks. It looks like the three DL guys will be Kancey, Vita, and A’Shawn. Kancey is a good pass rusher but is always hurt, but Vita and A’Shawn are not – they are run stoppers. So the DL isn’t going to produce. YaYa plays the run well, but should go out in pass downs for AQM who plays mostly on the right side. On the left side is Brawell, period. The Bucs need someone on the left edge and a couple DLs who can rush. Joe rightly talks about edge rush, but interior DL rush can be effective too.

  2. D-Rok Says:

With this draft, the Bucs need Dawgz. They need ballers. They need a few players who love to hit just because hitting is pleasant to their ears.

We need a few Suh types on our front 7. Can Mauch or Goedeke or Kieft play defense? Those guys like to hit.

Even if we only win 8-10 games, as LONG as we look improved and players do their best and don’t look lost or confused on D, it will be easier to stomach than what we saw on D last year.

Make some changes, Bucs coaches! Last year was pathetically apathetic.

  3. Bucks 'n' Bucs Says:

I agree that edge is important. But I also don’t think that’s the magic bean that will make Tampa Bay’s defense elite. Look at Garrett, Watts, the Bosa boys, Parsons. All great but not the absolute answer. Garrett is arguably the best and Cleveland can’t even find the stairs to get out of the basement.

  4. Scotty Mack Says:

It should also be pointed out that Lee Roy Selmon played for the Bucs for nine years, Simeon Rice played with the Bucs for six years and Jason Pierre-Paul was with the Bucs for four years.

That’s 19 seasons with an elite pass rusher but the Bucs only made it as far as the conference championship game in three of them. Seems like there might be a little more involved than just having an elite pass rusher.

It sure hasn’t helped Cleveland, Dallas or Cincinnati out over the past half dozen years or so.

Yeah, we need a better pass rush. Seattle had a great one last year without any elite pass rushers. Just a group of pretty good ones. Shelling out 10% or more of your entire team’s cap for a single rusher may not be the road to the championship.

  5. Tampa2ATL Says:

Remember when we drafted 2 CB’s in 2nd round..same premise. MJ Stewart was picked before Carlton Davis – which shows this theory working out with 1 out of 2 of the chosen position being successful. It’s too bad we don’t have an abundance of draft picks this/each year to further test the hypothesis. This year in particular has LB gems that should be available in 2nd round (Anthony Hill Jr, Jacob Rodriguez, etc) in a position that is just as desperate a need as Edge & hand in dirt DL.

  6. Joe Says:

Shelling out 10% or more of your entire team’s cap for a single rusher may not be the road to the championship.

Joe would gladly take his chance.

  7. Defense Rules Says:

Joe … ‘Joe doesn’t think Licht is going to lose his mind like that but drafting two edge rushers isn’t dumb.’

Given our other ‘holes’ on defense, Edge is the LAST position group we should be focusing on.

o DLine: We have Vea, Robinson & Kancey as starters, plus Elijah Roberts as DEPTH. NEED at least 1 more beastly NT/DT (taking Gaines spot) to rotate with Vea, and possibly replace him next year (his contract year). Kayden McDonald will do.

o ILBs: We have Anzalone & SVD (whooppee). NEED 2 more ILBs, preferably youngsters who aren’t late Rnd draft picks.

o CBs: We have McCollum, Morrison & Parrish as starters, plus apparently Josh Hayes as DEPTH (whooppee again). We NEED to pick up a quality veteran CB (to replace Dean) AND draft 1 CB (to replace Vildor).

o Edge: Have Diaby, Muhammad, Nelson, David Walker, Brasswell & Kamara on the roster now. Fix the interior DLine AND the ILBs and the OLBs we have will be a LOT more productive.

  8. Slacker Says:

Shelling out $34 million for Godwin is absolutely ridiculous

  9. Winny Testaverde Says:

Step One: Put Bright Licht & T. Bowles résumés on LinkedIn. Like The Step Brothers…they can team interview for various jobs…more in line with their current abilities.

    That just might do it.

  10. Slacker Says:

And Baker at $54 mil. Then wanting to give evans north of $20. All this while, edge rush is garbage, no linebackers on the roster and corner back is needed. So apparently the approach is to try to buy an offense to put up 40 and hope the defense holds to 35.

  11. Ben Says:

Been saying draft 2 forever because Licht stinks at finding edge rushers, hoping playing the njmbers game he gets lucky

  12. HeartyDickerson Says:

The problem with “just loading up on edge rushers” is we only have 7 picks, and we desperately need an ILB, DT, CB, backup OG. With so many holes, we don’t have the luxury of pouring a bunch of picks into one position.

FA has been okay, but not enough. And I’m really questioning if Gainwell is 3x as valuable as R. White. Because that’s what we’re paying him.

  13. Lakeland Says:

I think this edge rushing thing is overrated

The Atlanta Falcons added new Edge Rushers in 2025
2024 they only had 31 sacks, one of the lowest
2025 they had 57 sacks one of the highest
But, they were 8-9 both seasons, no improvement in wins

The Chicago Bears had 40 sacks in 2024
They had 35 sacks in 2025
But, they gave up 68 sacks in 2024
They only gave up 24 sacks in 2025
Their GM added 3 new high quality Offensive Lineman in 2025
Their record improved from 5-12 in 2024 to 11-6 in 2025

The Bucs can add 10 new Edge Rushers
But if they don’t fix the Offensive Line, it’s all for nothing

I said it last year, and l say it again this year
Your Offensive Line is more important than any unit on your team

  14. BucsfaninOregon Says:

I’m with this Joe. #15 for edge. 2nd round middle of line big beast. The rest whatever. Go after whatever is left in FA market for OL is critical. Even cast offs would be better than last year.

  15. Inwoodjeremy Says:

YaYa running in coverage the opposite direction of the QB doesn’t help his sack numbers. Would big name FAs be one dimension of .. see QB, tackle QB?

  16. Joe Says:

Given our other ‘holes’ on defense, Edge is the LAST position group we should be focusing on.

    Ssssuuurrreee Coach Schiano.

The blockquote above is the pure definition of ragebait and/or trolling. This, coming from the same guy — if Joe’s memory serves — used to argue lousy Lovie wasn’t to blame for garbage cornerbacks.

  17. NLK@boston Says:

the team needs defensive depth. PERIOD. the free agent signings are a good start. the need is edge, 2 ln, dl, cb. rd. 1 edge mesidor. rds. 2 $ 3 lb hill, rodriguez, golday, barham, perkins, . rd. 4 mcclellan, jackson. rd 5 best cb avail. rds. 6 & 7 best ol aval. & best wr avail.

  18. Beeej Says:

Good edge rushers are harder to find in the draft than good quarterbacks

  19. Stucbuc Says:

    Yawn 🥱

  20. 3.28.Evans Says:

Fixing the edge rush would require a new head coach, a new defensive coordinator (two different dudes) and a real defensive scheme. One in which the
Players actually know what they’re supposed to do on each play.

  21. LessisMore Says:

I don’t think it matters how many front 7 we draft.
    Bowles doesn’t care about sacks.
Bowles runs a 3-4 and uses his Defensive Ends like linebackers to cover backs backs and tight ends – which is not their skill set OR he drafts linebackers and wants them to out muscle a 330 lb tackle – not their skill set.
And the ILBs we have drafted move like they have their feet imbedded in concrete blocks.

But hey, some followers on this site will blame Baker….

  22. Lakeland Says:

I think OG Vega Loane or Spencer Fano in the 1st round
Move Ben Brederson to swing OC/OG, that’s probably his best fit
I think we can get quality Edge Rusher, ILB, CB, DT from 2-5 rounds

    This just my opinion

  23. Mike Johnson Says:

Joe, You gotta wanna be great. It has to be this burning itching desire. And we not our ownership have it. Every year, A free agent top pass rusher is too expensive. Then how do other teams do it? Bucs solve their long standing Pass rush problem, they are superbowl contenders. But Licht loves bargain basement shopping. Maybe our best bet is to load up on DE’s via the draft. At least reach for one with the 1st or 2nd pick. I am not optimistic though. Not with Todd Bowles. We shall see.

  24. Lakeland Says:

I believe they’re going to end up paying Baker $150 million or more

He’s the big investment of the future
So you might as well start investing in his protection
Draft a top offensive lineman early for the next 3-4 seasons
Quit relying on late round picks like Klien, and UDFA like Chukwuma

  25. Jmarkbuc Says:

Get a new GM and HC would be a great start.

  26. Joe Says:

But Licht loves bargain basement shopping.

Word was Hendrickson wanted to play for a contender. This came after Mike Evans bolted and days after Hendrickson’s proxy Adam Schefter said Hendrickson wanted to come to the Bucs.

(This is one reason why, despite so many people wanting Joe to play ostrich and forget Mike Evans, that swing-and-miss will have long-reaching effects. Evans leaving is one of the biggest stories since Joe launched this site in 2008. When prospective free agents see Evans taking a pay cut to leave, that sends up many red flags.)

Licht was in talks with Hendrickson. So it’s not like he was dumpster diving. Joe is convinced the Evans bungling spooked Hendrickson.

  27. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Al-Quadin Muhammad is a complimentary edge rusher. Get him opposite a stud, and he’ll produce.

I suppose there is a chance that if he is handed a starting role, he will show he should have been starting all along, but I doubt it.

I prefer drafting at least two edge rushers…the first pick and another by round 4.

  28. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Defense Rules Says:
“Given our other ‘holes’ on defense, Edge is the LAST position group we should be focusing on.”

I normally agree with everything you say, buddy, but this statement is waaaaay off base.

    1) Edge
    2) ILB
    3) Another CB or Safety

    Top three needs in order.

  29. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I actually think we have a player or two who could convert to ILB from other positions.

  30. 3.28.Evans Says:

    Mike knows.

  31. Anyhony Says:

    Is weed legal in Lakeland?

  32. Hopein1hand… Says:

    1. Draft Mesidor or Faulk with the Bucs first pick

    2. Draft R. Mason Thomas or Romello Height as a DPR with the Bucs second pick

    3. Acknowledge the cap is fake and make a deal for Maxx Crosby this summer.

Quit effing around and slam opposing QBs’ decision window closed within 3 seconds after the snap on every single down. The LBs and CBs on the roster plus some mid-late round reinforcements will look like stars. DTs, even Vea quality DTs (of which there are none available anywhere) do not impact sack, turnover or win totals as significantly as EDGE picks and signings. Same goes for corners and let’s not let the hole on the roster trick us into thinking the lowest value position on defense is the problem.

  33. Lakeland Says:

So if Arvell Reese, David Bailey, Reuben Bain is gone
Then Jason Licht should reached for the best Edge Rusher available
Just to satisfied this fanbase, or to draft a need

But guess what, you need a OG more than you need an Edge Rusher
This draft is similar to 2020 draft, when Joe Tryon was the vest Edge available
You can get the same quality Edge Rusher in the 2nd round, you get at 15

  34. Lakeland Says:

    ***best Edge Rusher available***

  35. Scotty Mack Says:

Slacker said – “Shelling out $34 million for Godwin is absolutely ridiculous”

Even more ridiculous would be cutting him, where we would have a $49.9 million hit this year. Chances are, he’ll be the Bucs’ best receiver this year.

  36. Todd Says:

    Best player available

  37. ModHairKen Says:

Yes. Drafting 2 Edge rushers is dumb. In fact it’s stupid. Yaya. Braswell. Hurt guy. Spence.

    Learn!

  38. Lakeland Says:

I don’t believe Jason Licht will reach for a Edge Rusher at 15
I’m almost sure of it, and he’s certainly not moving up
I don’t think Licht will reach for an ILB after Styles is gone
And he certainly will not reach for a CB if Delane is gone

I think Ioane or Fano will be available
And they will probably be high on Licht draft board

  39. OLDSCHOOL1976 Says:

At the risk of sounding like a broken record I’ll say this again…Rookie edge players do not produce much at all the first two years. They need to get one or two FA or trade for Thibadoux. You cannot use first and second round picks this year on players who won’t be immediate full time starters

  40. Anyhony Says:

Best available defender or trade back (If offered).

  41. Tom Petty Says:

    Miles Garret
    Brian Burns
    Danielle Hunter
    Aidan Hutchinson
    Nik Bonitto
    Trey Hendrickson
    Maxx Crosby

Last years top 5 edge rushers (sack-wise) + a couple JBF faves.
Not a lot of evidence that league leading edge rushers have made much difference in reaching the playoff or having success if they do.

We need pressure and sacks…..from any position. The ONE THING double digit sacks edge rusher DO accomplish consistently is cost too much money. Can’t afford to pay players 2-5 million per sack and pay for all the other needs we have too ?

  42. Hopein1hand… Says:

Just because Marc Dominic drafted two pass rushers early to no avail does not make it dumb. Every team needs two on every down. Right now the Bucs have YaYa and a PED fueled 31 year old on a cheap one year deal. I don’t want either back next season. Yaya is not worth a $20some mil per year long term contract He can’t finish and isn’t improving. He isn’t a presence let alone a leader. He is the definition of wasted steps and motion and is not trimming that fat from his game either. Let someone else pay him to smile and get chipped by invisible pass protectors.

Braswell is a special teamer not Will Anderson 2.0. The only thing they have in common is where they played in college. David Walker is short and stumpy. He may surprise us with some DPR-friendly down sacks but I don’t see him being a three down OLB to write home about. He will get busted on in coverage something fierce, if he ever sees the field.

The LDE position goes to Crosby for 80% of snaps. He is the best LDE in the NFL vs. the run, is an asset in coverage and can be counted on for double digit sacks, energy and accountability from his teammates. Let the DPR tandem of Walker and Height or Thomas spell he and Mesidor appropriately- Walker in short yardage and at the goal line, Height on long down and distance scenarios. Height is better in coverage than most ILBs in this draft.

Height is a DPR only. He isn’t a three down defender but R. Mason Thomas has his speed, moves and pop plus is a dog vs the run despite not having much sand in his pants.

Faulk is a potential All-Pro but I don’t trust the staff to develop him into that. He could still be a big upgrade over Logan Hall for this regime though.

Gabe Jacas is a YaYa clone but cheaper. Derrick Moore is a refined YaYa clone who knows how to finish. Dani Dennis-Sutton is an upgrade as well but he is borderline hopeless in coverage. The options for upgrades don’t end there.

Draft two pass rushers and trade for Crosby. Don’t waste early picks on chump DTs (all of them going in the top 100 in 2026) or pip-squeak DBs. The ILB talent and CBs available day 3 will more than suffice.

  43. FrontFour Says:

So Joe thinks because Evans bailed that Hendrickson was spooked????

How about some idiots in Baltimore signed that guy for four years and $112m!!! Nothing to do with Evans.

  44. Badbucs Says:

Mesidor, Howell, Faulk all mistakes. Waste of a 1st round pick with too many red flags. You can get better guys later. I agree with Lakeland on Ioane being more worth the pick. I’m hopeful we trade down. I’d love to get an early 2nd and a 3rd for our 15. Not many teams able to provide that though it’s best case scenario for us. Jets maybe. Lots of good players in first 4 rounds.

  45. Defense Rules Says:

Joe … “Given our other ‘holes’ on defense, Edge is the LAST position group we should be focusing on.” The blockquote above is the pure definition of ragebait and/or trolling.’

Sorry Joe, but I’ll stand by that position for the draft. You’ve said yourself, many times, that rookie OLBs don’t really contribute a huge amount. Well, I agree with you.

o We NEED to replace Gaines. Our interior pass rush wasn’t much last season. A beastly NT/DT will help our pass rush improve a LOT more than a rookie Edge will.

o We NEED to replace LVD. Anzalone should be replacing SVD because of his MLB experience. A quallity ILB will help our defense improve a LOT more than a rookie Edge will.

o We NEED to replace Dean. The 3 CBs we have on our roster are concerning. If one of them goes down (or fails to perform like a starter?), are you prepared to fill that vacancy with Josh Hayes? Me neither. We NEED another quality CB more than we need a rookie Edge.

Those were the ‘holes’ I was talking about. And yes, I’d prioritize fixing those holes over Edge right now. If we don’t, we’re 1 injury away from disaster. And no, still not ragebaiting; just happen to believe differently than you do. (And BTW, I don’t remember the Lovie Smith thing, but that was a really nice touch. Kudos)

  46. RagingBrisket Says:

Want to fix the edge rush? Fire Jason Licht. He is an overrated bum

  47. Simeon4HOF Says:

Must go Edge Rd 1 or there will be no improvement

  48. BuccinBaker6, Says:

I know people say Kancey is always hurt he literally only missed 4 games out of 18 the first 2 seasons I don’t think that’s horrible Football is Violent after he back from both calf injuries he played 14 games straight 2 years in a row he had a season ending injury last year Chris Godwin has gotten hurt quite a bit last couple years as well I dont hear how he can’t stay healthy idk why ppl attack Kancey so much dude is our best pass rusher an he’s a DT we need Kancey to go with Yaya badly an if we can get another Edge to go with AQM who we just brought in an Walker who praying he can be what we need to an if we can just get 5-6 sacks out i Braswell even 5 out of AQM get Yaya close to 8 or more Kancey close to 8 Walker get in there an get some his rookie year an draft a rookie this pass rush this defense should all improve Reddick got 2.5 last year like he stole 14 million dollars from the Bucs organization Jason needs to stop going for the Bargain an go after a proven Player Trade your two 1st for Maxx Crosby an now you don’t need to Draft an Edge it’s like he just wants to have a good time on draft day

  49. Tampa2ATL Says:

What I find puzzling is comments that say “edge round 1 or else” without naming one or two players. Everyone here will agree that pass rush needs to improve + defense overall. Really enjoy reading the different perspectives here when laid out.

  50. Tampa2ATL Says:

Also the Fire Jason Licht solo shots. So silly.

  51. PowerOfPewter Says:

Braswell has shown nothing on the field… backup Nelson outperforms him. I don’t see Braswell making the final cut, particularly if Licht drafts another Edge.

  52. Simeon4HOF Says:

    Mesidor Rd 1

  53. Hopein1hand… Says:

The Bucs can draft two starting quality OL they don’t need on day 3. Ioane a pass rusher Mesidor in round 1. Then Ioane ‘nother pass rusher, Romello Height in round 2. The Ioane ILB or S in round 3, take your pick, there are many quality starters. Then Ioane OT/G/C Brian Parker II, OG Beau Stephens, OG Jalen Farmer, OT Enrique Cruz, or OC Jager Burton or other stating quality OL in round 4. Then Ioane CB Andre Fuller or DT RayShawn Benny in round 5. Then Ioane OLB Ethan Burke or ILB Eric Gentry in round 6. Then Ioane OLB Jackie Marshall, DT Damonic Williams, CB Avery Smith and OLB AJ Peña in round 7. Ioane win a Super Bowl!

I don’t want a hall of fame guard.

  54. Bobby M. Says:

Who cares that Licht is hyping anyone?….Who exactly has he drafted that is an example of Licht spotting edge rusher talent? Braswell was supposed to be that guy as was JTS and so many others regardless of who the coach was. Licht is good at drafting OL, WR, RB, CB, S, DL but DEs he’s terrible. Now throw in Bowles….who has he ever developed in his entire HC career?

You want a stud DE, go get a proven vet no different than we’ve done at QB. Sadly the two most important positions on the field (QB & DE) he sucks at. That’s our reality. If Lichts career ended this year, it would be very mediocre because all the credit would go to Brady who chose us but also got Gronk, Suh, AB, Fournette to come here. Any Buc fan that looks back will almost always say…Brady was the reason. Before Brady and after, what’s the Bucs record under Licht? Guessing it’s pretty darn mediocre IF it ended today.

  55. Simeon4HOF Says:

Mesidor, Faulk … or any of the top 7 or 8

  56. Simeon4HOF Says:

I mean who wants to draft one in Rd 2 or 3 that wont beat out Braswell??

  57. Simeon4HOF Says:

Deal with ILB and CB Rds 2 and 3

No business addressing either of those two positions again until finishing our Edge rotation.
Doesn’t work that way and sure hasn’t.
Just Draft 1 Rd 1, that can start 3rd in Rotation and work his way up.
Any other Rd 1 will start like 6th in Rotation we have.
Take best Edge with 1st pick.
A must, and also per Reddick signing and failed signings, we really have zero choice.

  58. Simeon4HOF Says:

Diaby, Mohammad, Braswell, Walker …. ain’t scaring a single tackle tandem or any team

  59. StretchOMatic Says:

A lot of these College players anymore are already millionaires before they get drafted. So they don’t have the “want, drive or motivation” to produce in the NFL until their contract year. Until then, they’ll half a** piddle around to try to remain healthy and somewhat relevant for 3 or 4 years. Then come contract year, they’ll give it everything they have to secure their “bag”!
That’s going to be a common theme with all the notable draftees in the coming years. These players all talk to each other and give advice. They’ll want to secure their financial future without much risk to their health in the meantime.

  60. SB~LV 🏈 Says:

    Hello folks!
This is NOT a new plan for JL… he has been “loading up “ for years and firing blanks.
and…. This team has NO EXPLOSIVE offensive weapons in the league encouraging pinball wizard offensive scoring.

  61. Fanofdabucs Says:

Time will tell Joey. But I believe the Bucs dodge a bullet with both Hendrickson and Evans. Better off for the future. Lets check back next year and see what these 2 were able to accomplish and if they play much past this season.

I see two players at the end of their careers trying to get one last paycheck before they ride off into the sunset.

Let’s wait and aee what happens..or we can just continue to cry about it, like they were the missing pieces to a Superbowl run.

  62. NLK@boston Says:

mesidor is 25 yrs old. polished, great size for an edge, mature. he’s nfl ready today. he doesn’t need 1 to 2 yrs. romelio height would be a great pickup in rd 3 if available. he seems more like a hybrid edge/lb because of his size. rd 2 must be a lb. rd 4 dl. rd 5 cb. any of the dummies who suggest ol, te, wr in the early rds don’t know how to fill out a competitive roster. don’t forget who the hc/dc is. my good friend mel kiper knows sadiq has talent. but this team doesn’t need a te.

  63. Tony Says:

  65. Noclu4u Says:

Always Always ALWAYS !!! Draft BPA regardless of position. ALWAYS
    !!!!

  66. Andy Read Says:

Stop proving that you want to lose by keeping failures and passing on actual talent.

  67. Marine Buc Says:

Trade back in round #1 and pick CJ Allen and add an extra 2nd or 3rd round pick…

  68. Vern Says:

DR is usually right, JBF usually wrong.

  69. Formerbrownsfan Says:

Evans needed to go “Mr Hamstring” missed a season worth of games the past 2 seasons. The Bucs are better without him. I’m sure he’ll pull a hamstring in practice

  70. Ash Says:

How to fix the pass rush that’s easy you spend a boat load of money.

  71. Simeon4HOF Says:

Our #1 and #3 Edge sucked last year.
Reddick gone, signed Mohammed, who is not a true #1
Drafting a top Edge in Rd 1 is only solution.
That way 2 of our top 3 Edges no longer suck.
Idc if the TE there, what happens if we lose our Tackles.

  72. Simeon4HOF Says:

Braswell is an Edge 5 who should play on ST

  73. Simeon4HOF Says:

JL better f@@@@@ address Edge off top.
Rd 2 is perfect for ILB, unless Styles were there at 15
Get our CB3 via Rd 3 or late free agency.

  74. BuccaDAWG Says:

Hire a Defensive Cordinator & install a aggressive type scheme period

  75. Stpetematt Says:

Maybe they assume a combo of Walker, Mohammed, and Diaby will work and are trading up for Styles? I’d support that too…

  76. Stpetematt Says:

Styles and Sadiq are the only unicorn-type athletes in this draft… getting Styles would be incredible.

  77. Mveal2006 Says:

Pressures vs sacks w young guys doesn’t bother me. Veterans its a problem

Really to get a great one you have to have an early pick. We dont have much capital. Its like giving picks for keyshawn…not something we do well. Although we didnt pick well in the early 2020s either
