Hall Of Fame Numbers For Mike Evans

No-brainer.
Joe doesn’t know many, if any, Bucs fans who don’t think Bucs icon receiver Mike Evans belongs in the Hall of Fame. So this is for very few who may still be skeptical.
For example, here are the players who have 13,000 yards and at least 100 touchdown catches: Tim Brown, Cris Carter, Mike Evans, Larry Fitzgerald, Tony Gonzalez, Marvin Harrison, Steve Largent, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens and Jerry Rice.
Only two in that group are not in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
That would be Evans, who has yet to retire, and Fitzgerald, who Joe guesses will be named to the Class of 2026 during Super Bowl Week next month.
If Evans doesn’t get in the Hall of Fame, then that place needs to be ripped down and rebuilt with a new voting system. One that uses common sense.

I said it before the season, and I repeat it now, Evans still has years left to play, and he’ll be over 1000 yards again next year, and probably have at least 3 more 1000 yard years in total before he’s done.

There is a gold jacket waiting for him. He should be a first ballot shoo-in but the national media might make him wait a year or 2.
BTW, Rod is right, ME13 still has gas left in the tank. Do not be surprised if he has a bounce back year, hopefully with Tampa.

If Mike plays a full season he gets 1000 – would love him to get 13 seasons at 1000 but he should get a Gold Jacket regardless.

Anybody could see he still has fire in him.
Really not sure he ties himself to Bowels so be prepared to root for the man somewhere else. It’s a real possibility. If Im not mistaken only 3 on that list only played for 1 team.

What am I missing? Mike has had 1K receiving yards every year of his career until last year. 2025 was the only season he had under 1k and had just 3 TDs correct? How would it be then that he had five 1k receiving and 10 TD seasons, but 6 seasons with 10 TDs. Something is wrong with those stats.

HOF voters have got to clear the lane of entry for Mike and get Tory Holt in there. I don’t want Mike to have to wait 10 years after retiring to get in.

He’s got 2 to 3 more season with 1k yards left in him. Barring injury. Hes already tied the greatest receiver in NFL history. That alone puts him in. Sign that man for another 3 years please. The way he takes care of his body and he is still competing at a very high level. JOE said it earlier that Evans look sharper than ever before.
