  4. SB~LV Says:

    Jets fans warned us !

  5. Coconut Doughnut Says:

Come on Coach you can do it!

  6. HopetheBucswin Says:

Should do one on Baker Winston as well. Mr. 4th qtr int.

  7. TheBucsAnthem Says:

Sorry, but when you have over 60% of your own fanbase disliking the Head coach……then he’s got to go.

I believe Todd Bowles is still a great person, but as a head coach for Tampa, it’s obvious now that the players have tuned him out and don’t believe in him or his coaching philosophy and that it’s just time for him to move on.

I’m sure Todd Bowles will still be a good coach somewhere, but Tampa isn’t the place for him anymore.

Anyone remember Lovie Smith. EVERYONE thought it was kinda like a return to Coach Dungy since he came from that same coaching tree…..but look how that turned out…..what a disaster that was!!!!!!

  8. Deeboooo Says:

Baker was Bowles’ choice for QB, so I imagine if Bowles goes, so will Baker.

A new coach will want their own QB

  9. TheBucsAnthem Says:

I believe Baker would stay if he got another chance to work with a good offensive coordinator……but not Josh Grizzard……..because Grizzard is not an NFL quality offensive coach……he’s awful.

  10. bucnjim Says:

    90% Wow! He will retire!

  11. Kenton Smith Says:

Deeboooo, our coach and Baker Mayfield have been through a rough year. Bowles isn’t gone yet. The season isn’t over. I’m not sure that Coach has lost the locker room. Yet. All that said, I think you’re dead wrong about a new coach wanting their own QB. I suppose a new coach could find a QB coming off 3 straight Pro Bowl seasons. I’m lying. There is not a chance that a new coach would want a new QB. A new coach would build a team around Baker.

  12. heyjude Says:

I have been voting confident throughout the season. Feeling like a jinx now. Still rooting for Todd for a win! Go Bucs!

  13. BA’s Red Pen Says:

    • No Confidence

  14. Deeboooo Says:

    Kenton

I hope I am wrong, I am a Baker fan and like Baker as our QB.

I think there’s something to be said about how Baker couldn’t find a first string job before competing for it in Tampa.

  15. JA Says:

Bucs fans are finding themselves caught between the proverbial rock and hard place, especially those who wish to see Bowles terminated.
Nothing would please us more than winning these last two and being rewarded with an extra game before the long layoff between seasons. But we also fear the winning of these next two will inspire ownership to retain Bowles for at least another season.
This is the time when we wish we had owners who knew football.
Want to be more inclined to wish for a playoff miss? According to A.I. (Chat GBT), since the 1970 merger a mere 3 of 241 coaches were fired after their team made the playoffs. With those numbers, does anyone here think the Glazers have the internal fortitude to rock the norm and make a change?
I, for one, do not. But I also don’t want to commit fan heresy by cheering for a Bucs loss.
A rock and a hard place indeed …

  16. heyjude Says:

TheBucsAnthem – It will interesting to see what happens. Baker has been with several different offensive coordinators and it has got to be tiring. Nonetheless, if a new coach comes in, they will bring their own in.

  17. Kenton Smith Says:

Deeboooo, Baker played for 3 teams in 2022. We know what happened in Cleveland. The biggest 250 million boner mistake in NFL history. Well deserved after what they did to Baker. Carolina fired Matt Ruhle after 5 games. Mayfield was known for the 97 yard drive his first game with Rams. But his last game with the Rams (5 th game with them) he hung 55 points against Sean Payton(on Monday Night Football). Oh yeah, the Broncos were a top 5 defense that year. His second year at Browns wasn’t his best. Freddie Kitchens was a first year head coach. In 2019. Last month Freddie Kitchens was fired as NC offensive coordinator by Bill Bellidunce. Matt Ruhle was a suck head coach at Nebraska this year. Sean McVay offered Mayfield alot more money to be Stafford’s backup. He loves Mayfield. Baker wasn’t about to be a backup, even for a year. Deeboooo, Baker Mayfield will continue being a top tier starting QB in this league for at least another 6 or 8 years.
