I voted totally confident, because I’ve voted “no confidence” in other polls and I was proven wrong right. Maybe, I’ll be proven right this time and a 7 win close out to the season.

We are in the same spot as last year. Possibly making the playoffs..barely. It will probably come down to a key play. Nothing has changed. We can put up a good fight sometimes. Still quite far away from being a serious threat in my opinion.

The only way a leader can truly be judged is by looking at those that he leads. Are they productive, and moving in the same direction ? Are they motivated? Do they buy in to the program? If they have these things they should be productive. This defense is not productive and is barely competent. This reflects poorly on the leadership. The proof is in the pudding. You have to have the right leader at the right time as well. I think Todd is just past his shelf life. I like him, but he is not handling the DC duties very well while being the head coach. You cannot be a part timer.

We have all seen this movie before – Bucs somehow manage to win the worst and weakest division in the NFL and go to the playoffs and the Glazers will consider that good enough for Bowles to keep his job.
And then we will all be going through this exact same thing this time next season

Over 90% voted no confidence/little confidence. I’ve seen more than enough from this guy. He’s an absolute detriment to the development of this team. Tykee Smith might be the ONLY player who’s improved from last year on defense.
On offense Graham Barton has regressed as well. Can’t any of Bowles staff actually coach? Sure doesn’t look like it. Clean house in 2026.

Watching the tribute series on Prime, amazing how the coaching staff ‘lit a fire’ to get the players to produce. This coaching staff is a joke. Even though players are paid millions to play they still need a kick in the a$$ to get the most out their talent.

Lol. I have confidence in Bowles, but not this defense. The players are simply not good enough. How many missed tackles were there. We had run plays stuffed for loss but the guy misses the tackle. Without getting pressure with the front seven, we are severely limited in what we can do. Two rookie corners getting significant playing time… LBs that are not NFL starting caliber to say the least of being an impact player. Two fumbles failed to be recovered. When we made plays, we didn’t make the plays.
Defensively we put our hopes in Kancey,Reddick and a breakout from Diaby. None of which happened. McCullem regressed, rookies struggled. LBs, with the exception of David at times has been absent.
If you want to fire Bowles, that’s OK. But he isn’t the reason this team failed. It failed because of bad luck with injuries and it simply didn’t have the talent on the defensive front seven it needed. Licht better look everywhere to fill that void.

Totally disgusting to see Liam Coen doing what he is doing in Jacksonville with a roster worse than the Bucs roster. The guy is an offensive genius, and he hired a really good DC. A large number of us Bucs fans were hoping Jason Licht and the Glazers would make the right call to promote Coen and ditch Bowles. Unfortunately, the organization tried to punt on it and make him the highest OC in the NFL instead of promoting him to head coach.

The players change, free agents are brought in, players are drafted, the team has tried a lot of different combinations to fix the defense but the constant is Todd. No matter what he does the team can’t defend the forward pass. They are always good at stopping the run or at least decent at it.
7 seasons of blown coverages, receivers left WIDE open, 3rd and longs converted easily, opposing QB’s made to look like Hall of Famers weekly… NOTHING CHANGES
Todd is not able to adjust and limit opponents from passing all over the field on this team
It’s time to move on, well actually it was time to move on last year but Licht was too scared of the Dirk Koetter experience to do so

Literally fake news, the Bucs don’t win the SB in 2020 without a top high-end defense. Also the Bucs were really good at the end of 2019, and for most of 2021.
In 2022, Arians retires, Bowles is put in charge, and changes the scheme from an aggressive man-to-man defense to a passive zone defense. Without Arians there to tell Bowles to be aggressive, Bowles goes full turtle mode, and we see the results.
Frustrating thing is when the Bucs are aggressive and don’t play zone, the defense still can look really good. The Lions game was a lot more of a mix than most games, the Pats game, where they only really gave up 21 points while getting a turnover, giving Baker the ball three times in the 4th quarter with a chance to take the lead, that game the defense was more aggressive and mixed things up.
By far the most frustrating thing about Bowles is that he has an answer, and it’s simply to call different plays. It’s still his playbook, but on every 3rd and 4th and long, you know he’s going to retreat to his super soft zone crap, because he’s more scared of losing than wanting to win.

First, don’t presume to know what others want.
Second, most of everyone here knows Jason Licht is one of the best, and certainly the best we’ve had.
Is your major complaint about the defense? Because Licht was building the offense around Mayfield for the past few years. Last draft was the first time in a while he could focus on some defense.
And if you believed it would only take one draft, that’s on you.

Currently at Little Confidence in Todd Bowles…because of the losing streak and his meltdown with the press. I imagine the players are not having doubts too.
Now, if the players are actually ashamed of themselves and are intent on fixing things, and not turning on Bowles, then my confidence will improve again.
Sure would be nice if Mike Evans have three 330 yard games to keep his streak going (not gonna happen obviously).
