Atlanta and Cousins licking their chops coming in to play the Bucs! Since TB has been in charge this team has been a “not ready for prime time ” team, while Cousins has mostly played well in prime time, and most ALWAYS beats this team. Their confidence has to be up there while I’m sure ours is in the dumpster.
Bowles is so lifeless and void of energy he had to hire JPP. That speaks volumes. No confidence and thats been my vote since the mid-season slump last year
This season I’ve come full circle on Todd.
I had no confidence when he was hired (thanks again for screwing up the hiring
process BA) but over time I decided to let the first couple of years slide
as the team was winning while rebuilding. After two choices for OC were hired away
I gave him the benefit of the doubt about elevating Griz.
My concerns were on the defense and why no one was hiring our position coaches.
If Todd’s defense is so great we should be losing coaches and we’re not. Young defense coaches should be pounding down the door to learn the system, begging to be his D coordinator, but they’re not.
So I’m back to no confidence.
Jeesh, I am staying optimistically confident. This is a must win game and the players all know that. I want to hear Baker after the game saying “You like that” and not Kirk saying it. Go Bucs, win this!
I’m confident 509 will create fireworks tomorrow night for the Falcons. The canon operators will shoot the cannons in gratitude for the end of our coaching staff.
Third price is on Friday!!!!!!
If I see the middle of the field open for 509 to execute, I’m not losing any sleep for this coaching staff. SMH
If he was fired today, who on the staff would be named interim coach???? NONE is worth giving them a shot. The entire coaching staff must go!!!!!!!!!!!
I have finally given up on 💩
NC
I am sure he is a wonderful guy and a very knowledgeable football coach, but he doesn’t have the “it” to be elite and complete football coach at the NFL level
QBs are setting records against this so called ‘guru’s defense….
If you’re confident you are one who would rather Lose with Bowels as HC than to win with someone different!….
@StPete, “Injuries have killed the Bucs, not Bowles.”
Come on brother. The D is far worse than last year, when the Bucs had more injuries on defense, and after Licht added several defensive players thru the draft and FA. The team is clearly tuned Todd out. Todd rotates a struggling Benjamin Morris in for a “hot hand” Jamel Dean, but leaves lazy Zyon McCullom playing instead of benching his lack luster azz for uninspired play.
The D gave up 23 points to a Saints team that was averaging like 9 points per game and gave up 44 points to a Bills team that Miami held to 14 points – the Bucs should have won BOTH of those games. The Bucs always seem to play uninspired for prime time games – Lions, Pats, Bills.
Where is the Bucs pass rush? Are you going to blame Licht? Do you think Bowles does not have a heavy say in the players Licht drafts for D, like JTS, Braswell, Hall. Do you think Licht just woke up one day and said, “lets sign Hasson Reddick” or do you think Licht got input from Bowles?
I defended Bowles all year, until the Lions and the Bills. The uninspired play turned me off
He did say you have to change the defense every couple years or the other teams will catch on. Well time for a real change now. Fire over confident mistake prone clueless Bowles!
Ebbs and Flows. The essence of life. You don’t wanna get too high. Or low. I can’t operate that way. I fight it, furiously, when the flow ebbs. It’d be easier swimming with the flow. But Bowles and Baker have spent their lives overcoming obstacles. I almost get mad seeing those 2 at press conferences. No Panic. Life goes on attitude ticks me off. This season isn’t over. We could win 9 games and reach the Super Bowl. I may be losing confidence in Todd and Baker but just because our team is in a dark ebb doesn’t mean the tide isn’t about to turn. And when it does, these guys will be there. Because they’re conditioned for this and most of us aren’t. Our offensive and defensive players of the year are Bredeson and Tykee and now they’re hurt. If this team turns this around this year, somehow, then you sign Baker long term and you give Coach a healthy bonus. I think the tides about to turn.
Last year I kinda knew Bowlzo would rally the troops at the end of the season. I also had faith that the Falcons would fly into the window. This year I see the Panthers kicking our butts to end the season.

Yes, if Reddick was healthy, he’d probably have another .5 sack!
I like Todd Bowles. But its time for him to go.He is taking this Defense nowhere. He’s suppose to be a Defensive guru. His Defenses cannot stop a parked Bus.

I’m guessing that 1 vote of “Total Confidence” is Jason Licht. Unfortunately, his is the only vote that counts.

Bowles would not be a bad HC except he didn’t hire a DC and as the DC he has not corrected HUGE issues in HIS defense for years
Hence Zero confidence
