JPP Re-Signs With Bucs

December 8th, 2025

What a fantastic move today by the Buccaneers signing edge rusher Jason Pierre-Paul.

Yeah, it’s a desperation move but the Bucs are a desperate team.

JPP, a hero of the last Buccaneers Super Bowl team and a team member from 2018 through 2021, last played a little for Miami and New Orleans during the 2023 season. He spent a full season with Baltimore in 2022.

JPP has been out of football since and made headlines recently for having his expensive watch stolen at a South Florida club.

The 36-year-old joins the Bucs practice squad. Most important, JPP says he’s in shape and he’s exactly the take-no-prisoners attitude the Bucs need on that side of the ball. Joe is confident Todd Bowles and Buccaneers Ring of Honor general manager Jason Licht have asked JPP to unleash his leadership fury in practice.

Joe sees JPP as the Bucs buying a kick in the ass and, maybe, a guy who has a few big pass rushes left in him.

Since he last played in 2023, JPP has done interviews and made it very clear he wants to keep playing. He’s got a goal of reaching 100 sacks (he’s got 94 1/2 in his storied career that includes two Super Bowl rings.)

An athletic freak, Joe has no doubt JPP is a young 36, but make no mistake. This is a miracle play for the Bucs defense.

Joe also suspects the Bucs will ask JPP to counsel Jalen McMillan about playing with confidence following a broken neck. JPP was in that boat with the Bucs and came out strong.

Is it only a matter of time before Ndamukong Suh walks through the door?

    Too little, too late, Jason

  3. Let em Bake Says:

    Play this week?

  4. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I love this. Even if he isn’t capable of playing as well, he is a great leader and will turn that line around.

  5. Donny’s Swollen Ankles Says:

    What a joke.

  6. mj Says:

it worked last year when they brought shaq back their sacks went up, go jpp!!!

  7. StormyInFl Says:

Why not go and get Barrett again, too?

Why not talk Gronk out of retirement? Lord knows the trash pile at TE could use help.

Some folks around One Buc are feeling their job security drain away – as well they should.

  8. jb47 Says:

Can’t be any worse than reddick but I have a feeling the production will be the same. Sadly I don’t see him having anything left in the tank.

  9. StAugBuc Says:

This can’t be true. I was assured all off season that Braswell was going to flip the switch

  10. SB~LV Says:

Shipwrecked FO is now drinking salt water

  11. Warrenfb12 Says:

Love Jason Licht man. We should have made a play at the trade deadline for reinforcements. That was a swing and a miss.

  12. Mike10 Says:

Took the words out of my mouth: where is Suh?! I’ll take that attitude as a coach at the least!..

  13. BucsFan81 Says:

Haha I spoke this into existence 3 days ago on JPP instagram. If anything maybe he can bring some leadership into the locker room and a kick in the butt to some of these guys that are loafing and not putting in effort.

  14. Simeon4HOF Says:

    Had a feelin

  15. Simeon4HOF Says:

    Smart move Jason

  16. StAugBuc Says:

Also so glad we didn’t chase that loser Parsons with his measly 13 sacks

  17. Daryl Green Says:

Are you kidding me, I love Jpp. Come on🤷🏾‍♂️ u don’t want give up draft picks to grab
Someone in a trade? U look for some leadership wow!!! This is really a bad look.
Guarantee he pulls a hamstring mark it.

  18. adam from ny Says:

    —————> morale signing

  19. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Hell, why not?

  20. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I wanted us to draft JPP. Then I wanted him when he hit free agency the first time, but he gave the Giants a hometown discount.

When we finally got him, I was over the moon with the signing.

JPP is/was not only a great player, but he was an awesome coach. He raised the game of the entire defense.

  21. Ricardo Says:

Sheesh it’s no longer speculation. Everyone in Buc land knows the ship is sinking.

  22. adam from ny Says:

so you sign jpp off the street to sure up the front line, and add attitude…

but you don’t swoop in on the titans PS, and sign kyzir white away from them, to sure up the middle of the defense, and the middle of the field…

someone please explain that…adam wants to know

  23. KnoxvilleBuc Says:

Desperate people will do anything, Licht covering whatever he can and Bowels grasping at straws. Shame it took this long and the collapse to begin. One thing JJP will bring is attitude and accountability, which this D is lacking and he will automatically produce more in effort than Reddick has all season. JJP is a legitimate freak but this is a stretch. Shame we couldn’t have landed a top tier youthful pass rusher via trade or free agency.

  24. Mr. Editor Says:

The Bucs front office might have done this a while ago, so it’s definitely a desperation move. We’ll see about the impact. That being said, the Bucs are not out, yet. Their destiny is in their hands. They can win out and silence the growing number of doubters out there. If the Bucs lose two more games, I just don’t see the Glazers keeping the coaching staff. Bowles has lost a lot of coaches during his tenure, and that has to take a toll.

  25. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    StormyInFl Says
“Why not talk Gronk out of retirement?”

    I would love this.

  26. Scott Says:

Pathetic desperation signing but JPP is the man. Maybe he will rub off on some of the new guys who can’t seem to get to the QB

  27. Football 1 Says:

Wow, I had to read this 3xs!!! Unreal, I thought and think he maybe done, but what the heck. This should have been done weeks, months ago. Why not, anything is an improvement. I was hoping they would have signed Shaq in the preseason. He wanted to play for the Bucs too. What the heck sign him too.
Anyway ,maybe too little too late, but it sure is uplifting news!!!. I will take it all day long. Give this D hell. JPP, please, please. The fans will love it. I just hope he plays Thursday and puts Counsins on his rear end . That would be worth the price of admission!!!. Now maybe I will look forward to going.
    I really hope he plays!!!

  28. TheScourge Says:

Just embarrassing at this point. This is the kind of thing you remember happening ten years from now and physically cringe.

  29. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Honestly, this feels like Jason Licht trying to save Bowles job…and maybe make the fans a bit happy.

  30. Mark Says:

So we have another db now?

  31. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Of course, the haters will not like it…because JPP could save the season…and they don’t want that.

  32. stucbuc Says:

Hmmm….Deja Vu. Didn’t we do this last year with Shaq.

So let me get this right, Jason licht does nothing during FA and puts up a front that this team is SB ready by doing kaka during the trade deadline but JPP now is what kind of move. How does he have a GM title.

I saw issues 3 month ago, hell day one we had issues….wtf is Jason Licht doing.

  33. Half_Sac Says:

This is embarrassing. He will contribute nothing he is too old. It’s why we let him leave 4 years ago

  34. adam from ny Says:

the signing also highlights the disappointment in reddick

  35. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Carl Nicks’ toe has finally healed….lets make the call

  36. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Not mentioned by Joe: he was signed to the Practice Squad. A pure coaching decision.
Of course Joe mentioned the practice squad. –Joe

  37. StAugBuc Says:

I absolutely love JPP. But 32 teams decided for the last 2 years he just doesn’t have it anymore

  38. buccintimeforchanges Says:

Things must be very b ad in the lockerroom.

That’s all this move is for…leadership.

Wow. Clean house. Jason Licht on down and please take grandpa Arians golf cart keys away finally. That ERA is over.

    SMDH

    Read what Joe wrote

  43. SB~LV Says:

    Embarrassing
Father Time is going to embarrass him

  44. Mike Says:

What a joke. Love JPP but this is just crazy. Instead of signing him to be on the d line, maybe should sign him to be our new head coach! Bet he’d be better than what we have right now. Anyone else notice toilet bowels new favorite word at press conferences is misfit? Maybe if someone within the front office had a set, they’d recognize the biggest misfit in the entire organization is the head coach! This has become so comical but it’s the same thing every year with this clown.

  45. rrsrq Says:

I wonder who reached out to whom, but a 36-year-old JPP is probably still better than what we have now

  46. Dr. Bucenstein Says:

Should have brought him, Shaq and Suh in 4 weeks ago

  47. Rod Munch Says:

Lets get Simeon Rice in too!

  48. Destinjohnny Says:

Maybe we should sign a gm who can draft defensive players

  49. Usedtocould Says:

    Great, I alstott available?

  50. Destinjohnny Says:

    Rice can be his backup

  51. SB~LV Says:

    But … but .. Braswell …

  52. Mobucs Says:

    But can he cover kickoffs?

  53. buccintimeforchanges Says:

hail Mary from JL and TB

    They KNOW they are toast.

Glazers have told them win or get gone.

    They both Rod Jones.

  54. Nprbuc Says:

Bonzai- Joe clearly says that he was signed to the practice squad. Whatever it takes to light a fire I’m for!

  55. Jbravo Says:

incompetent desperate coach , wont help….laughable

  56. StAugBuc Says:

The “light a fire” thing is wishful thinking. Talent wins in the end and we are woefully short of it on D

  57. HC Grover Says:

    Desperate and Pathetic

  58. HC Grover Says:

Alstott!!! and Sapp….maybe we can get them backto help the Bowles Calamity

  59. SBucs Says:

There’ll be a nice rocking chair on the sideline once JPP gets himself injured.

  60. Rod Munch Says:

I have zero issues with this, and I agree with people who say to sign Suh if he’s willing to sign as well. It’s not always about on the field, sometimes you need someone in the locker room just to change the tone.

At the same time, has JPP actually looked into the scheme that Bowles is running now? It’s not the scheme that they won the SB with. Can JPP run? Because Bowles is going to have him playing corner. Then again he’ll also get plenty of rest since Bowles will have him standing around in zone 15 yards down the field on 3rd and 3.

I don’t know, maybe this is a sign that Bowles, who is slow on the uptake, has finally watched some tape of how the Bucs won a SB, and it wasn’t sitting back in zone more than any other team in football.

  61. HC Grover Says:

The over the hill gang is back!!!

  62. Bubby Says:

Embarrassing. Our pass rush is amazingly only bad, again, and we sign a guy who hasn’t played in years, only has eight fingers and broke his neck. Sounds great, Jason.

  63. Stallworth Says:

This is turning into a clown show. What’s next? Rehire Sapp, Brooks, Lynch, and Barber?

The coaching staff is losing the locker room. This only happens to bad coaches.

  64. Frank Says:

    Fred McGriiff Rays vibes

  65. El hefe Says:

We should’ve brought back shaq earlier in the season along with jpp forget reddik

  66. Chuck Says:

This is how piss poor this coaching staff is at developing young pass rushers. Why not bring in Murphy-Bunting to replace Zyon? Or Suh to replace Logan Hall.

  67. SB~LV Says:

    PANIC
I just hope nobody part of next year’s team gets hurt finishing out this season

  68. StAugBuc Says:

Speaking of Zyon what on earth did he do to earn a 3 yr. 48 mil contract?

  69. Mike Johnson Says:

Come on Guys. JPP does not have a lot left in the tank. But them again, Maybe he provides some kind of spark for the D line..Any kind will do. Our Bucs had a shot at a couple of real DE’s this yr. But Licht thought they were to expensive. You gotta wanna be great. And our ownership is satified with a 500 team. Hell, look at what they pay Bowles. He is one of, if not, the lowest paid HC in the league. You get what you pay for.

  70. infomeplease Says:

Like signing Shaq last season. How did that work out?

  71. MegaFailure Says:

    this aint it

  72. Bucschamp Says:

I’ve mentioned JPP and Suh a while back. These guys are excellent motivators. Bucs need old dogs to kick those pups ass

  73. Rod Munch Says:

God, what a bunch of idiots with their stupid takes — as if having JPP on the roster is more important than 15 other guys who no one the comments even knows is on the team. Just idiot, low IQ takes.

Are all you dopes complaining about this just claiming the defense lost the game yesterday because it didn’t hold the Saints under 20 points? Are you the same dopes always claiming that something has to be done? Are you the same morons who claim the Bucs need to sign an edge rusher – as if there’s any available to sign?

The move is a desperation move since the defense is going to be required to carry a much bigger load than it was designed to carry if Baker can’t be counted on to get more than 20 points a game. Something has to change, and just getting a fresh voice in the locker room isn’t a bad idea at this point.

  74. FrontFour Says:

I like it. Certainly sending a message to the guys half adding it.

  75. Thisisouryear!!!! Says:

I wonder if Reddick is cancer in the locker room. What’s going on behind closed doors. I love JPP. I also agree w those that say every other team passed on him so what does he have to offer. Bowles must be desperate- remember how Bowles hated how JPP freelanced on the field.

  76. FrontFour Says:

    Half assing it…..

  77. Greg Says:

Bowles desperately trying to save his job. Love JPP… but too little, too late. Should have made a serious acquisition during free agency. Fire Bowles!

  78. buc4evr Says:

    Shaq. sign Shaq.

  79. BucU Says:

This organization has turned into a full blown clown show. Unbelievable that they would do this. Bowles can’t coach them to play hard so let’s bring in a long since retired to do the job for Bowles. Pathetic.

  80. Dom Says:

This is a bad indication of the state of the locker room. 36 year old JPP who hasn’t played since 2023 isn’t going to make an impact on the field. He is here for leadership which is so embarrassing and pathetic. Really shows how down bad the team is for leadership. I value Licht’s emphasis on good character, but what good is it if it the team is this desperate for a leader 14 weeks into the season? Terrible sign for this team moving forward. Hope I’m wrong

  81. Bartow Buc Says:

JPP is a beast, even at age 36 !! He will put the fear in every QB the Bucs play as soon as he is on the field.
They broke the mold when they made JPP !! I would love to see Cousins lookin for him if he can play this week.

Go Bucs !! Beat the Falcons !!

  82. Marcus Says:

They should also have him do what our coaches fail to do; develop pass rushers. Yaya and Barnswell have WAY too much potential to be where they are. The fact that we haven’t been able to help any one of them take the next step is ridiculous. If Suh helped Via improve his game, then I see no reason why JPP can’t do it with the other pass rushers.

  83. HeartyDickerson Says:

At this point it’s comical. I’m embarrassed for Licht.

You’re telling me there wasn’t a single player on the 31 other practice squads that was a better option than a 36-yr old retiree? It’s baffling how narrow Licht keeps his scope, that he refuses to consider anyone he’s not familiar with.

And if this was purely a kick-in-the-pants, accountability in the locker room thing, then what tf do we have coaches for?

Real teams aren’t arrogant enough to think they can win it all through drafting. Real teams take swings on Zach Baun and Poona Ford and Micah Parsons.

  84. Jeffrey Says:

I’m interpreting this news as… “smoke from a distant fire” this am by The Glazers. Maybe they made Licht feel some heat as well? Is Shaq and GMC showing up tomorrow? This is the ignorance that is Licht and Bowles… heaven forbid they could’ve tasked someone to search other teams’ rosters back in September and October when the injuries hit to look for our needs in guys 25-28 with friendly contracts for this year and possibly 2026, but there was nothing at the deadline. Now we get this. This is why we get the national media punking we do?

  85. Capeaceiskaput Says:

I don’t think this is about actually having JPP produce on the field. To me, this is a straight up a Godfather II move, just like when Pentangeli is going to spill the beans on Micheal before the senate and they fly in his brother from Italy, it scares Frank to death, and so he re-counts everything. JPP is the Brother, our D is Pentangeli, hopefully JPP scares these guys into doing the right thing, instead of just talking about doing the right thing. The Dude is a OG bully, in a good football type of way, just like Sapp was. He may not get any sacks but I hope drops a few insults on our own teams manhood, and they break out of this funk..

  86. Winny Testaverde Says:

Oh my…the desperate Jason (Licht) signs the washed one ( JPP ). It’s on brand for the Ring of Fire GM. He acquired him for a 3rd round pick…a decade or so ago. It’s like how he has early extended his draft picks using confirmation bias.

  87. gotbbucs Says:

    Was Mean Joe Greene unavailable?

  88. Adrnagy Says:

1.5 hands is better than what we have. I’ll take it.

  89. Darin Says:

Come on licht don’t stoop to Bowles level. Jpp cant catch we don’t need him dropping into coverage

  90. Adrnagy Says:

    Bring someone rice back !

  91. Ryan Says:

They let him go four years ago because he was no longer an effective NFL pass rusher. This is just Jason Licht trying to move the conversation on from everyone talking about Bowles being fired.

  92. Let ‘em bake Says:

Maybe Merlin Olson can platoon with Elijah Roberts 😊

  93. MelvinJunior Says:

    Suh.

  94. Architek Says:

    WTH MAN

  95. BucaneroJim Says:

First Teddy… now JPP?… and Lawrence Welk is replacing Bad Bunny for the Super Bowl half-time. Surreal as the Dali Museum!

  96. Hodad Says:

Can he coach? That’s what we really need, a competent head coach. This desperate signing of JPP tells me we need a competent G.M. too.

  97. BPBucsfan Says:

AND….Jason still has his picks!! Can’t hurt anything though. Bring Suh back

  98. Crazyhorse54 Says:

    Sad

  99. Buccintimeforchanges Says:

Licht has been given an ultimatum.

Finally these losers will be fired

  100. Lightningvinny1 Says:

It’s not sad ,, it’s leadership ,,, why not grab Suh also ,,, the perfect 4 game season for old guys ,, Barrett too ,, no nonsense , no loafing and hold guys accountable ,,, Not sure it will work but it really can’t hurt

  101. Tucker Says:

Cool story bro he is still 36 lol ah well what a season it was started off well at least.

  102. Rod Munch Says:

    WE MUST DO SOMETHING!!!

    (The Bucs do something)

    THIS MOVE PROVES DESPERATION!!!!

  103. Erik with Pilot and Driver™ Says:

The heart & soul of our D is back!

  104. ChiBuc Says:

First, I love this guy. Im willing to bet he ends up with more sacks than Braswell. And, spotting Braswell his 1 and only.

2nd, this is a sad indictment on JL. Pathetic. He truly is clueless. Inactive in FA (2 busted edge signings in 2 yrs), and he has to go to BA’s playback from 7 yrs ago, clueless lyrics grasping at straws.

has JPP actually looked into the scheme that Bowles is running now?

3rd, don’t presume fir 1 second that JPP gives a d@mn about what Todd has to say. He’s gonna be himself, JPP

  105. Brooks Says:

    Just saw this!
What a joke what about the trade deadline? We are an embarrassment to the league

  106. Jeff Says:

    Stupid

  107. Erik with Pilot and Driver™ Says:

Now sign Suh & Shaq and our biggest recent personnel mistakes will be rectified!!!

We should’ve kept all 3 of them!

  108. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

JPP wants a shot at cementing his legacy as a pass rusher, 94.5 isn’t enough.

I’d point JPP right in the direction of Braswell, Yaya & Elijah Roberts. Just follow him around and take notes when it comes to being the edge and not just playing the position.

  109. Rod Munch Says:

What a joke what about the trade deadline? We are an embarrassment to the league

    ———-

Yeah, I can’t believe they didn’t trade a 3rd rounder to get Myles Garrett – how clueless can you get!

  110. Jameis Says:

Maybe Brady could lead our drives at the end of each half.

This is idiotic. It isn’t even desperate. Were they also calling AB behind the scenes when all our wideouts first went out? Goodness Jason. Come on.

  111. Erik with Pilot and Driver™ Says:

For people talking smack, JPP is in the best shape of his life right now.

Guaranteed good signing. Great job, Licht. But you never should’ve got rid of him in the 1st place. Dumb move bro.

  112. David Says:

Desperate BS. They should’ve got rid of Reddick when they knew he was a bust and got someone at the trade deadline.

Is Todd Bowles still suggesting you don’t need a four man pass rush???

The season is toast. It doesn’t matter. What matters is a new HC and DC search.
Then get a new ILB coach and all new ILB‘s. Send LVD into retirement and Dennis packing.
What should have been a 6 – 1 stretch to end the season might end up with them below 500. Miami is playing better, Atlanta can definitely pass all over them and right now, Carolina is the better team.

Hate to be so negative, I thought they were a 12 win team and strong Super Bowl contender, but that ship sailed. I am firmly in the camp of the coach has to go.

  113. Outrigger Says:

Heard the Bucs were trying to sign Hardy Nickerson to replace Dennis in the middle.

  114. Outrigger Says:

Let’s also bring Mike Alston back to help with all those 4th and 1’s we can’t convert

  115. David Says:

Eric said – JPP is in the best shape of his life…LOL OK dude. Because elite athletes are always in the best shape of their life when they’re about to turn 37.

How did Shaq work out last year when he signed?
    This is desperate garbage.

  116. Adrnagy Says:

This reminds me of Richard Sherman signing.

  117. MadMax Says:

    But todd!!!

    Really? Theres still todd!!!!

  118. Durango 95 Says:

JPP is the man, dude was a great player for this team.

Therefore I will not saying else.

  119. Stallworth Says:

Didn’t Todd play DB for Washington? Why doesn’t he suit up or don’t they make suits that large?

  120. FortMyersDave Says:

Desperation move. Hey he will play with more heart and intensity though than the stiffs they have on the field now.

  121. SenileSenior Says:

I had the same experience as you did, Bonzai Buccaneer. I wanted us to draft JPP out of USF. We passed on him before the Giants grabbed him.

He should inspire some of the guys I would think. Why not see what he can do for us?

    Go Bucs!!

  122. JohnQCitizen Says:

Todd is a defensive guru, so I guess it’ll work. Seeing is believing.

  123. Mach Says:

This is just sad, why not coach up Kamara and activate him, he shows legit potential. The problem is the coaching and front office panicking now that they see the writing on the wall. This is really realy sad. What an embarrassment. This says Todd Bowles coaching ch ages j tbe off season has not worked and they cannot adjust to coach what they have, he needs to change his scheme its too complex even for veterans. It also says Jason licht missed in free agency with the reddick move as he has continued to do so, same witb his LB move and then he doubled down on his arrogance by refusing to draft both edge and LB.

Solution is easy, simply the defence and Todd needs to hold the players accountable and call them out and maybe cut a couple to send an message. Doubt he will though

  124. ModHairKen Says:

    How about Suh?

  125. Mach Says:

The players need to go back to propping better, its clear they are not putting in the work, hence why they were happy when brady left and baker came in reports were he is alot more chill. Well yiu see the results now. They need to ensure the players are putting in the work in study and training, that explains the missed assignments etc. There is accountability, captains are useless i haven’t seen any reports of player on meetings wither to address the situation

  126. Jack Sparrow Says:

Bucs has become a joke! might as well sign Brady as the QB….

  127. ChattBucsFan Says:

I think they brought him back cause he’s the only one that can count with both hands the number of wins the Bucs will have.
    Ugh, it keeps getting worse.

  128. firethecannons Says:

Maybe JPP can work with YaYa and teach him his technique, maybe it will work, always glad to see JPP back again anyway

  129. Captahab Says:

I can guarantee that JPP won’t perform any worse then what we currently have. He was a stud a few years ago.

    Haha!

I just hope he’s been practicing pass coverage and will also rip the #90 jersey off this worthless entity they call Logan Hall.

    Are they joking?

Love JPP. Let him pin his ears back and go after it. I wouldn’t be opposed to bringing back Shaq either. GMac for some good vibes.

If y’all think Logan Hall or Anthony Nelson are better than either of them, I’ve a beach house I can sell you for a mere $10k down, cash only.

Do I think he’ll be ready for full-contact football by Thursday? Unlikely, but let’s roll those dice.

  133. Bucs4Ever Says:

Don’t expect anything moving forward until the changes are made in HC and OC. THen you won’t be disappointed.

  134. Taylor Says:

Desperate move- just like Colts working out Rivers

  135. BPBucsfan Says:

Jalen Phillips having a good night, just caused a INT from Herbert. Could’ve had him for a 3rd. He’s played well for Philly since the trade in the games I’ve seen.

  136. Chris Says:

Can’t right your wrongs by signing Jpp Licht you and Bowles ruined this team.. Parson is smiling tonight!

  137. NDog is an Idiot Says:

Hugh Green to replace Servocea Dennis?

  138. Kgh4life Says:

If they were gonna do this, it should’ve been at the bye, at least get give him some time to really make a difference. Too little too late.

  139. HeavyE Says:

    Good bye,Jason Licht,Todd,Baker and Grizz!!!

  140. ElioT Says:

Security better watch out on Dick Butkus‘ grave.

  141. Pelsbuc61 Says:

Desperate times call for desperate measures. All of these threads hoping JPP will light a fire under this defense (sadly, me included) point to the fact they need an outsider to motivate and coach up this team. That speaks volumes of the lack of coaching competence and player accountability on this team. Also is a direct reflection of Licht’s incompetence. Not even a strong JPP can save the sh$tshow of a defense they have.

  142. FortMyersDave Says:

I remember a few seasons back, Sapp gave the team a pep talk and supposedly it was not well received by people like Devin White and Carlton Davis, saying that the old dude disrespected their swag. I suspect this will happen with JPP with some of these young guys who tuned out LVD and Baker. Cannot blame them for tuning out Bowles though.

  143. Frank Pillow Says:

Where is the justified criticism of the GM? Don’t get me wrong, I respect the heck out of JPP, but the pass rush folly falls squarely on the GM for failing to acquire talent and the coach staff for their repeated inability to develop anyone.

  144. dumboldguy Says:

In addition to wanting Bowles gone for the last 5 years, I’m now starting to doubt Licht. WTF kind of move is this, especially after sitting on his thumbs at the trade deadline. I respect and love JPP, but he’s not going to add anything at his age and distance from the game. I’d have more hope if they hired him as DL coach or something.

I think they brought him back cause he’s the only one that can count with both hands the number of wins the Bucs will have.

That’s actually hilarious, I’m going to steal that line in my personal life, but know I’ll give you credit in my internal monologue.
