Is This The Game Where Quinn Ewers Makes Dolphins History?

December 26th, 2025

Miami QB Quinn Ewers.

People who watch a lot of college football know that Quinn Ewers isn’t a complete stiff.

While Ewers may not have been Vince Young for Texas, the guy has an arm. Not too many garbage quarterbacks make it to the college football playoffs, but Ewers did.

So Ewers has it in him to throw the Dolphins to a win Sunday. It’s not like the Dolphins don’t have a run game or a reliable receiver to help him out.

Bucs fans should be triggered that a defensive head coach/defensive coordinator allows backup quarterbacks to slice and dice his defense, but that’s how the Bucs roll. This season backup quarterbacks average 317 yards a game against the Bucs.

How? Why? Well, this is exactly what happens when you don’t believe in an edge rush.

Now that Ewers, who replaced Dolphins starter Tua at quarterback when Miami decided to tank the rest of the season as soon as they were eliminated from the playoffs, has his feet wet in the NFL, it would not shock Joe one iota if he had the Bucs on the ropes in the fourth quarter at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday.

Only 317 yards? How does tubby Bowles still have a job? We will lose and look lifeless, unprepared, and unprofessional doing it. Merry Christmas Carolina, the division is yours. We blow.

Not sure how fair weather fans like the people on these comments can ever call themselves a fan….Go root for the cowboys they always play decent, but haven’t done anything in 30 years!

  7. Hodad Says:

Mick, we’re fans, not sheep. Fans don’t follow blindly. This team deserves all the criticism it’s getting. It’s tough love, not hate.

  8. Trey Alderson-Cloutier Says:

Todd Bowles is soft. His defense is soft. His offense is soft. Soft as angel touch toilet paper.

This team ain’t beating the phins.

  9. Bowles portly self Says:

Fans have to follow a team over a cliff? Idiocy Mickman.
