Terrific podcast!
So glad guys are coming back now too. All of us thinking ahead to the Panthers, the players are right, focus on the Saints. Yes and fully agree, they have a strong rookie receiver on their end and our defense hasn’t looked as good since the bye. Last week was much better.
Fascinating information about the AZ radio and Shipley’s perception after that game.
Like everyone else, cannot wait for the Bucs 50-year documentary. Unsure yet to binge all episodes or spread them out a couple of weeks.
Hoping for a big win this weekend, if it is close and we win, it’s all good too. A win is a win. Go Bucs!

Can’t wait to see the Bucs 10 part series on Amazon starting next Thursday. Don’t even have to worry about clearing my calendar. Winter is setting in on the Plains so I’ll make time. I used to follow college football closely and preferred it to the NFL. Now I prefer the NFL and the Bucs. Great podcast, you guys have all covered a bunch of football. Didn’t Brady say that football doesn’t start until Thanksgiving? It’s about how you finish. Always has been. We’ve been strong in December and lost a couple of close playoff games. This year, to me, was going to be the year. And then something happened. I don’t exactly know what it was but the team currently has lost its mojo. Mayfield hurt? Defense mad at Mayfield for something maybe said in locker room? Bucky turmoil? It’s something more than injuries but whatever it is I’m with Lee on this one. We’re not a very good football team right now. I’m not sure we can overcome whatever it is that knocked this team off the rails. I just want to know what blew us off the rails to begin with. I’d like to think we can take this one game at a time and get alot better by playoff time. The success, or failure, of this team is gonna come down to how Bowles and Mayfield perform this month. Me and old Junebug are going to be listening to our favorite podcast and all things Bucs closely this month. Because the way we are playing we may not get to see much football in January this year.

We were all silent up in stands during the second half because the defense is playing uninspired at best and it felt like we were going to lose the whole time. You start thinking about all the money you spent to go to a game just to watch uninspiring crap like the Bucs displayed and it pisses you off. This was the first time since I started going to games in 1992 that I felt disappointed walking out after a W. We better get all our receivers back ASAP because we are going to have to score 30 points a game to beat anyone else this year. I’m not a Bowles hater but GD, you can’t be a defensive coach and lose games because your defense sucks. Zion McCollum is terrible and grossly overpaid and we have zero production from the TE’s. I’m sure ZM and Otten are great humans but they are JAG’s when it comes to football.

I’m glad that “loafing” was brought up. There’s been several instances of this during the Bowles HC tenure of being ACCEPTABLE:
1) Darden being the Punt Returner for several games a few years back. It was embarrassing, he was scared to death and didn’t want to play
2) Devin White in several games, several years
3) Whitehead not wanting to play football last year
4) Zyon this year
Am I forgetting anybody?
