Injuries Sideline Cade Otton, SirVocea Dennis
December 9th, 2025The Bucs haven’t found a repellant for the injury bug.
Cade Otton, SirVocea Dennis and Tykee Smith would have been unable to practice today if the Bucs held a real practice. That news comes from the official injury report in advance of Thursday’s Bucs-Falcons game at The Licht House.
Dennis left Sunday’s loss to the slimy Saints with a hip issue. Otton is listed with a knee problem. Smith, who left Sunday’s game but returned, is nursing neck and shoulder probleems.
Other injured Bucs were either limited or full-go. Receivers Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan, both officially on injured reserve, were limited, as was Christian Izien (neck) and Haason Reddick (ankle).

SVD was a statue on the field. Cade being out is just another blow to the run blocking capability which is close to zero now

Dudes are now making business decisions and honestly, not a huge loss.
This team is in full downward spiral mode, even at 7-6.
Falcons are going to year their butts up on Thursday.
…and I really hope I’m wrong
Go Bucs?

Kind of seem numb to it all by now. Injuries are not an excuse! Whoever first said that hasn’t seen the 2025 Buccaneers. It just hasn’t let up at all.

When he’s no longer employed by the Bucs will it still be called “The Licht House?”

Licht House will age about as well as America’s QB. Maybe that’s the point…rage bait for us mouth breathers. 🙂

Who will catch the ball short of the 1st down marker and hand off the ball to a defender mid-play if C.Otton is out? Maybe Rickey Dudley is available as The Bucs are bringing back former SB participants.

This team is trash, but I can’t quit them, just like a heroin addict, or them dudes in that brokeback mountain movie

I was very pessimistic about last week, I know I said I thought the Bucs would win, but my heart wasn’t in it, which is why I kept saying I ‘hope’ the Bucs win big – and they should win, but I wasn’t shocked by the outcome.
With that said, I’m saying this week, the Bucs win in a blow-up, Baker snaps out of his 2-month slump with a big game, and the Bucs whip the Falcons by 30 points. The only chance the Bucs have is if Baker finally plays well, and there’s no more time left, and this was the same situation in 2023, when Baker played like crap for about 2 months, then out of the blue had a huge game vs the Packers, then followed it up by one of his best games ever vs the Jags. I’m calling it now, Baker goes out, finally plays well and catches fire. Of course in 2023 that fire lasted exactly 2 games before he had an awful game vs the Saints, and then an even worse one vs the Panthers to close out the season, but at this point I’ll take 2 games of being on fire.

Nobody misses Otton anymore. He is a almost guy. When you need 7 yards gets 6. He can’t catch contested passes or break tackles. He is just a blocker and not a playmaker. TE should be a position to upgrade next year. Give D.Culp a opportunity. If he isn’t better upgrade both. No wonder Brady didn’t like him and made him wear gloves. To many of these type of players on the roster taking up space. Half the team is made up of Otton’s, Braswell’s, Hall’s, and Heck’s.

Did anyone see Raheem Morrris message to the falcons? IN SHORT HE SAID EITHER SHOW UP TO BEAT THE BUCS OR DONT BOTHER SHOWING UO TO THE FACILITY! To be honest the defence will be better without SVD in my opinion, at least a PS backup p l ayer will try to tackle and give some effort.

BTW, good news… Was just checking the PFF grades for a laugh – and turns out we’re in luck! The Bucs highest rated offensive player last week was Rachaad White, like always (mainly because he’s such a good pass blocker and productive runner). But the Bucs second best player on Sunday, according to PFF… Payne Durham! Now he wasn’t any good as a receiver according to this, and he was OK as a pass blocker, but in the run blocking game he did great.
Continuing with the stats, Bucky was the 3rd best player. Meanwhile Luke was 4th, then Sean Tucker was 5th, but was last when it comes to pass blocking, get a 17 score, which is ridiculously low. I know the one time I noticed Tucker pass blocking he whiffed completely, but I don’t know how often he was blocking – and his awful pass blocking continues to limit his snaps.
Chewbacca was the 6th highest rated player, and 2nd highest lineman – and my eyes saw the same thing, I thought he looked very solid.
At the other end of the list, the 2nd to worst rated player was, of course Baker Mayfield, who was putrid trying to throw the ball. Getting in some decent runs is the only reason he wasn’t the worst player on the field on Sunday.
But, who got the crown as the worst player on the field? Kam Johnson – who managed the feet on just 4 routes. Ouch, talk about a bad day.
Basically Evans and McMillan can’t get back soon enough.

Cade is useless when healthy

Hope rods prediction is true. That means Mike is activated. Chris has a big game.

The team is preparing the fans for another excuse filled performance. Anyone who thinks the Bucs win Thursday night is swirling down in the team’s self made drain.
