Chris Godwin: Talking Can’t Motivate Bucs

December 30th, 2025

Chris Godwin

What is going to snap the Bucs out of their horrible funk?

What will get them to play focused and with their hair on fire in front of a national TV audience on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.?

Buccaneers receiver Chris Godwin says it won’t be any kind of verbal motivation. Thats all tapped out, he told the Buccaneeers Radio Network yesterday.

“I feel like we’ve done all of the talking that we can do, like in terms of trying to like motivate guys or whatever,” Godwin said. “We still have an opportunity to win the division and it’s do or die now. Right? Like it’s a playoff game. It’s any game that we play from this point forward as a playoff game, and we have to have the right sense of urgency and intensity, you know, going into those games. And yeah, I think if we could just execute on a consistent basis, I think we’d like where we stand. We just haven’t been able to put together like 60 minutes in over a month now.”

Joe gets what Godwin is saying, but it almost sounds like when Todd Bowles told the world his coaches have already done all they can do and it’s up to players to execute.

Maybe there is more players can say to uplift and motivate each other. Perhaps new voices can step in for the ones being seemingly being tuned out.

  1. SB~LV Says:

Players will be playing not to get hurt!

  2. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Uplift, motivate?

Is this a Tony Robbin’s seminar?

Professional athletes who were supposedly picked because “ they are that man” and for their love of the game (not to mention the money), shouldn’t require a whole lot more motivation.

Unless they don’t believe in what they’re doing, and who is leading them.

  3. Brookly Says:

Can you hear the nails be pounded in the coffin? This team is amount the walking dead. Time to open your eyes and realize this is a 2& 15 team those first for wins were as big a fluke as any in sports. See you when they contend again in 2030

  4. Whatevs Says:

Any bets on another Dean injury 5 minutes into the game.

These guys quit weeks ago, a few more quit each week. Now it will be the entire team.

Licht’s Losers are ready for the off season

  5. SB~LV Says:

The first 3 last minute wins have been exposed for what this team REALLY IS.
    The word is dysfunctional!
    🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

  6. adam from ny Says:

spike the living sh!t out of those gatorade bins…have the boys bouncing off the walls…

also have a smelling salt buffet table they can visit

  7. Whatevs Says:

Torpid Todd will retire on Monday.

Can’t wait until all of the stories from this season come to light.

This will be a fun off season.

  8. SB~LV Says:

They don’t even deserve to be called a team!
They are merely a roster that gets paid handsomely every week!
    🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

  9. Tye Says:

I can’t remember the interview but someone was once asked about playing on different teams and he said the worst teams he played for is ones where players were making vacation plans and booking flights during the football season right after the last regular season game with no desire to mess up their off season plans!

  10. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

“Joe gets what Godwin is saying, but it almost sounds like when Todd Bowles told the world his coaches have already done all they can do and it’s up to players to execute.“

It’s kind of how the game works, coaches prep and mange. Players have to make the plays. Where we’re at, the class is performing so poorly the whole room gets graded on a curve. It’s gone on long enough to get the BOE involved at this point.

  11. Bee Says:

Did you see how pissed and dejected the WRs were on the sidelines after those drives.

The overthrows, the underthrows, the picks, the fumble. The WRs are tired of getting open and have a ball sail over their head, into the dirt or right into a DBs lap.

Whos going talk and what can be said? The leaders are Bowles and Baker and they’re the ones making the biggest mistakes. They cant motivate anyone or hold anyone accountable.

This team is a train wreck.

  12. Brian Says:

The Bucs will win on Sunday but lose the division. So win or lose it doesn’t matter. Bowels is done. This team has nobody to blame but themselves.

  13. SB~LV Says:

    This pile of dog sheet
Lies directly at Jason Licht’s feet and his stinky foot prints are all over OBP !
    Ronde 4 GM !

  14. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Saturday at 4:30 you say?
Good to know. I’ll plan on leaving the marina at 4 to go check my stone crab traps……

  15. HC Grover Says:

Correction….Yucs. Yes they are back to the Yucs. He aint no Hero. A loser. Our stars are fading fast. Their Bags are too big. Dragging the Bag slows them.

  16. SB~LV Says:

It’s Déjà Vu All Over Again
Glazers managed 2 Lombardi Trophy Rentals

  17. JustOneGame Says:

Talking only works if the production from said player that is doing the talking matches what’s being said. No one on this team has the consistent production that warrants talking, who’s going to follower someone who talks, tells or try’s to motivate others yet has nothing that warrants what’s being said.

Warren Sapp could get in people’s a$$ because he was going to ball out on Sunday. Same can be said for Lynch, Alstott, Evans & and David sans this season. Even to the modern era with Brady, JPP, Suh etc. those guys words held weight because they consistently produced.

  18. 813bucboi Says:

    Hire Klint Kubiak for HC!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!

  19. SB~LV Says:

This locker room is akin to a Somali run daycare in Minneapolis

  20. AlstottNumber1 Says:

They already have tee times reserved at TPC Tampa for Sunday morning.

Clueless Todd has no answer to this dumpster fire he created.

Players and coaches are now throwing their hands up in the air.

R.I.P. 2025 Bucs. From predictions of 12-5 or better down to 7-10 after a 5-1 start.

Mike McCarthy would be my choice as HC. He’s actually won a SB.

  21. Rob Says:

Many of the younger players on this team lack drive & grit. They should have been benched weeks ago. This lazy, unmotivated attitude would never have been tolerated under Airians. Does Fornette ring any bells?
Mistakes happen to everyone, even good players. But lack of motivation and laziness are UNACCEPTABLE! This is a direct result of bad coaching.
Time for a complete offseason overhaul. Anyone who continually loafed on the field needs to be cut. No exceptions!

  22. BA’s Red Pen Says:

    Bowles got to go.

  23. jcscycles Says:

I would advise many of the posters to avoid a career in motivational speaking.

And while it’s fair to question the performance of Bowles and Baker, you should include Josh Grizzard, too. Continuing to rely on Bucky for running and long developing pass plays is a recipe for disaster.

Right now we do not have a competant offensive line that can open holes for a run play or provide protection for passing plays.

We never emply rollouts in the passing game. Why not?

  24. Buc4ever Says:

this season is over and I can’t wait for the head coach to be gone although he’s a lovely man. We need a new OC and a DC if that happens, I will renew my tickets for next year Very excited for the good things that will come next right now we are cooked

  25. Larrd Says:

Who cares? Players don’t. I don’t. I am not sure if Bowles cares, even.

  26. Aqualung Says:

    Psilocybin for the players.

Heavy sleep inducing medication for Tood and the Gizzard.

  27. HC Grover Says:

    A Buc Tradition

    Why do we drink?

  28. BucsFan81 Says:

Sounds like the team has already packed it in. Business decisions will be made Saturday afternoon you can count on that. Not only on the field but after the game to hopefully by the owners. End this damn disaster.

  29. FootBall1 Says:

Give Godwin credit, he is spot on. I love it!!. The talking is done, nothing else can be said. I do think Todd saying the the coaches have done all they can was for motivation purposes. I think he is trying all kinds of things. Myself, I think, on defense, the talent simply is not there and it has caught up to them. Then again some people on defense , like Winfield simply are not playing, but are desperately needed. It appears he does not care. Where is he?. He doesn’t show up on the field and doesn’t say anything off the field.
The Offense, tougher issues. The Big Factor like it or not the O LINE has big issues causing problems in the run game and making Baker panic. Yes , the OC is over his head. That has caught up to them as well. Yes they miss Cohen. Yes then of course there are coaching problems. The ST coordinator should have already been fired. However, I think to blame all this on Bowles is a mistake. There is plenty of blame to go around including the GM, not getting help at the trade deadline and not getting LB help prior to the season or durning. With all that said, yes the collapse has been hoffific and teams within the division are going forward while the Bucs are now going backward.
Yes , there has to be a coaching change, but their needs to be more change than that. The right Coach needs to be brought in or the team will keep going backward. I believe we have seen this scene before.

  30. Jerseybuc Says:

Radios last game Saturday we can only hope so.
19 games under 500 as avHC.
Dude has 8 total years of HC experience n only has 3 winning seasons!!

  31. Allen Lofton Says:

So much gibberish and no improvement from the team. Performance is the only thing that matters. The amount of BS is staggering and Bucs fans are not buying it.

Injuries have hurt the Bucs. Some players have tuned out 2025. Those players need to go because they’ve stolen the season from the fans and the Bucs franchise. If they are not weeded out the 2026 season will be another replay of 2025,

Finding good coaching is critical to good play. Jason and staff need to do a better job there too.

Tampa is a great place to live. It’s attractive for players and coaches alike. Put 2025 behind and make the 2026 Bucs real contenders. The nucleus is there. GO BUCS

  32. SB~LV Says:

Chris Godwin is a generation removed from the young players.
TRUST me when the NFL is filled with players who have gone through transfer portals in their college years commitment will be a concept that no longer exists

  33. Buc4ever Says:

do you think that Jason has a few people set up for interview interviews already? I bet things are going on behind the scenes. They like Todd bowls, so they will give him an out by having him retire. He’s a nice man. Grizz will resign. I think things are being set up already.

  34. Teacherman Says:

Izien cares. Put him in the game!

    Parish cares. Keep him.

    Morrison cares. Keep him.

Zion and Dean don’t tackle anymore.

    Tykes Smith cares. Keep him.

Logan Hall is soft. Let him walk.

Greg Gaines is old. Let him walk.

Elijah Simmons is a beast. Keep him.

Vea is on his last year. Let him prove his worth.

JPP needs to stay for Yaya. They will be a good 1-2 punch.

    Hassan sucks. Let him walk.

Anthony Nelson was good. But he’s done.

Watts sucks on special teams. Let him walk.

David Walker is a keeper. Hopefully he’s ready for next season.

But we need TWO first round talents at OLB.

And we need a 1st round talent at MLB.

Our defense needs a complete overhaul.

And I think we need more thugs and psychos on defense.

Our “nice guy” drafting strategy is good for offense.

    But our defense?

We need some killahs like Sapp!

  35. Ugotrobbed Says:

I think with Atlanta beating the Rams, the Bucs goose is cooked! Not that it probably wasn’t already! Lousy coaching at a number of positions (especially the head guy) is really what cooked their goose though!

  36. MadMax Says:

    Wont matter if they win…
Atlanta will beat the aints….then we’ll be officially coach shopping.

  37. SB~LV Says:

    😆😆😆😆😆
Remember the HYPE of Jason Licht
    Drafting only “ BUCCANEERS” ….
    🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

  38. SB~LV Says:

What ever combination of win and loss’s across the NFL next week that results in the Bucs getting the best draft slot that is all I am asking!

  39. Jack Burton Mercer Says:

There was a preference cascade midseason (for some reason) and everyone now realizes that the coaching, and probably the roster, is not super bowl worthy so the effort will not come back. Not sure if there is anything that can be done in so short a time. Perhaps some kind of bulletin board material that would galvanize the whole team is all we can hope for.

I want us to win, period. I will never want us to lose to “get it over with” or improve draft position or anything. Win the damn game, every week. I wish more people felt that way.

  40. SB~LV Says:

    Jack Burton
    Think of it as
    Death with Dignity!
Have you ever seen a dead person twitch and think that they are somehow still alive?

  41. Pewter Power Says:

These guys had a chance to lock up the division and a playoff spot last week but didn’t want to ruin their offseason vacation plans🤣🤣

  42. miken Says:

this is 2022 all over again… Best case sicario is make the playoffs and get trucked by the #5 seed. The todd Bowles ceiling has always been one playoff win… i.e 2023 season

  43. Oxycondomns Says:

its hard to follow godwin with all the “like” he uses in his sentences

  44. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

I can’t wait to see the half empty stadium for a divisional championship game. That should tell the Glazers all they need to know.

  45. Fanofdabucs Says:

    Bowles and Baker..bye bye.

    Let the rebulid begin.

  46. Bucs And Them Says:

Looking back, I think the Bucs doing nothing at the trade deadline was a ‘tell’ as to what Licht and the Glazers may have been thinking at the time. I wonder if they knew things weren’t right in the locker room with the players and coach dynamic and, saw the wheels were falling off before we did in the following weeks. This is definitely the biggest collapse in our history given the circumstances. Perhaps they stood pat at the trade deadline knowing it was about to fall apart like it did. Contrary to some here, there is a ton of talent here to build around that would be attractive to any head coaching candidate with fire in his belly. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Licht & the Glazers have been doing their due diligence since mid—season. Why waste another year to do what needs to be done this off season? Because Mayfield is under contract one more season? That’s just silly.

  47. Alanbucsfan Says:

It’s the schemes, and to some degree talent, not the effort

  48. Lakeland Says:

Stick a pacifier in their mouth
Change their pampers and send them to bed
That’s what you do to whining babies

    That’s what these Yucs are

  49. Lakeland Says:

I predict 20 years of sucksville in Yuc Yuc Land
It doesn’t matter who the next HC is
It’s back to the paper bag wearing, bottom feeding days

This dysfunctional organization is beyond saving

  50. Lakeland Says:

You’re supposed to be highly paid “Professional” athletes
You shouldn’t need a babysitter to watch over
You collect a salary, you should do your job

There’s no excuse for these players
And all of these “Delusional” fans that’s making excuses for them
They need to look at themselves in the mirror

  51. MelvinJunior Says:

I caught his interview LIVE on WDAE driving in the car. He came across pretty weird when talking about his superhuman body LoL. He one thing that did catch my attention was when he went on and on about how the many reasons guys play the game… Just for the money, & etc. But, he says that HE doesn’t, and ONLY plays for the love of the game. IF this is the case, then LICKT screwed-up EVEN WORSE than I thought! Why the HELL did he not go ahead then, and just offer him about HALF ($44-MIL FULLY GUARANTEED) of what he did, plus heavy on the incentives!? A take-it, or LEAVE-IT. Just Pitiful. Then, proceeds to draft a 1st-Round WR just to cover his own ass. And, Reddick on the CHEAP. Pathetic.

He takes Morrison in the 2ND, and barely sees the field. Could’ve traded the 2nd, and picked-up an additional 3rd or early 4th. PASSES on ‘BIG’ Deone Walker. Could’ve traded-up a few spots, OR wouldn’t have needed to had he traded the 2nd, instead of taking the ‘crippled’ Morrison. JL CANNOT evaluate TALENT. Period. It is a flawed system, whatever the hell it is that he is ‘trying’ to do.

The $35-MIL FULLY GUARANTEED combine on Godwin and Reddick was a complete WASTE, and it kept them from being able to do ANYTHING for that DEFENSE. $35-MIL would’ve gone a looong way! THEN, the McCollum Extension… Let’s just not even talk about THAT ONE. It ALL adds-up to taking you outta the Micah Parsons Sweepstakes (&/or) whoever else! And, I don’t wanna hear about him getting ‘injured’ – HE was a lot more than just for only 1-YEAR. He would’ve been a future CORNERSTONE to build around (just hitting his PRIME), and immediately changes the entire defense. Total game-changer, and game-wrecker. Future ‘First-Ballot’ HOFer, and ONLY player to begin his career with at least 12+SACKS in his first 5-seasons. The salary cap is set to SKYROCKET, so don’t wanna hear about that, either.

Parsons & BIG-Deone… You’ve got something THERE. I haven’t looked, but I bet if you take a look at Walker’s stats (still only 21-years old) this season vs Vea’s… I bet they’re awfully close (“Tackles For A Loss” and everything) in a very ‘limited number’ of snaps. He was forced into ‘full-time action’ maybe a little sooner than what the Bills would’ve liked, due to some injuries upfront, but they’ve used him just about exactly the way I said (before, during, and after the draft) he should be used in ‘year-1’ – The man is an ANIMAL.

  52. Tony1775 Says:

Let’s talk about how we had two OC’s in two years that never called plays. Let’s talk about how Bowles blew Brady’s last shot with blitzing Stafford, the best QB aganist the blitz, and then leaving their best WR, Cooper Kupp wide open in 2021 playoff game. Let’s talk about drafting kickers in 2nd rnd, and again in 5th rnd. Let’s talk about not bringing in anyone at trade deadline with all the injuries. Let’s talk about how we play not to lose, amd can’t make adjustments. Let’s talk about the disappointment of free agents we got. Let’s talk about Devin Culp and why he isn’t involved in the offense 🤔.

  53. Stpetematt Says:

If talking isn’t working, have JPP kick the cr@p out of whomever is loafing on the defense. Then play different guards because these are awful.

  54. MelvinJunior Says:

And, THAT is how you get yourself into the situation the Bucs are now in upfront, with ZERO depth at LB and DL with NO future replacements in-mind for LVD and VV LoL. When, I don’t know HOW you ever ‘allow’ THAT to happen!? It’s inexcusable.

  55. Mhystc Says:

    Cowboys released corner Trevon Diggs

  56. MelvinJunior Says:

And, let’s be ‘REAL’ about GODWIN talking about HIS OWN TEAMMATE’S ‘motivations’ for playing the game! Well, MR. GODWIN already has PLENTY of it! So, of course, it is easy FOR HIM to say that… He’s already been PAID. TWICE NOW. He AND his family are all already ‘set’ FOR LIFE.

  57. MelvinJunior Says:

HE’s just different, according to Mr. GODWIN. His body is just a modern marvel. And, HE DON’T KNOW WHY LoL. HIS motivations and virtues are just BETTER than everyone else’s Hahahah. That is EXACTLY HOW he came across. It was all very odd. Sounds like, he’s REALLY lovin’ him some Chris Godwin. 💯

  58. ChiBuc Says:

Joe, how about an old voice…step up to the mic, boss. JL needs to walk in that rm and say, play your @$$ off or you’re fired. Then walk out

  59. ChiBuc Says:

But Jason won’t, bc he wants to be your friend, family. He enabled and built this unmotivated squad. Licht must go 1st

  60. Lakeland Says:

I fault Todd Bowles for all of his team problems

Some of these he have playing, shouldn’t even be in the League
I said it during the preseason- he was waiving the wrong players
He was waiving the players that gave their all
And he was holding onto the Loafers

  61. mj Says:

there was no way we should have lost in Miami, but their quarterback played better and their defense played better. It’s just horrible. We don’t deserve to go to the playoffs. We deserve to have the whole team broke up and start over again back to 1985

  62. ChiBuc Says:

This begs the question: Did Devin quit on team or did he grow frustrated with the lack of accountability in the locker room. Sure, he’s a me guy, but it would be annoying to watch half @$$ AWJ get paid for you blowing it up in front of him. Imo, Devin is a g9od player that Todd broke. I watched raise the red flag and that kid had fire…not seeing any fire since his departure

  63. Yall don't get it Says:

Baker is talented, I like Baker. Baker can’t stay healthy, it’s the way he plays boom and bust leaning towards bust at the end of EACH season. Don’t think Baker is it, unless he rewrites his playstyle genetics which is unlikely at this stage of his career. Come week 13 on each year he’s going to be hobbling along.

  64. Lakeland Says:

If a player quit on his team

Then he need to be gone, he’s a cancer, and cancer spreads
If Tom Brady was our QB, we wouldn’t have this problem
This team lack leadership, no leaders on this team
Just a gang of unmotivated, selfish players

  65. Tucker Says:

Yup Godwin and bowels saying the same thing this team is burnt.

  66. GaBucinRH Says:

This team is done… Carolina more motivated and together as a team and Atlanta rolls on NO… Monken in 26

  67. buc4evr Says:

Grizzard needs to be fired the day after the season is over. If Bowles is retained, then the Bucs need a new DC and OC. If Licht is retained his mission must be to get the best free agents possible on defense. No more screwy draft picks starting as rookies. Special teams coach must go, LB coach must go, Secondary coach must go. On the Dline, Vea and Kancy are probably the only starters. I assume LVD will retire so the Bucs need serious help at LB. The answer isn’t SVD, the guy can’t cover or tackle. In the secondary every job should be on the line including Winfield. They are the worst of the worst in the Nfl. Oh and dump Dean.

  68. SB~LV Says:

    Go !
    Miami Hurricanes 🏈

  69. Rod Munch Says:

What is going to snap the Bucs out of their horrible funk?

    ———-

With as bad as the Bucs have played, if they just got some middling games from Baker, they go 4-0 over this stretch.

Even if people want to pretend Baker didn’t single handedly lose the Falcons game (which he did) – even then the Bucs go 3-1 and they already locked up the playoffs.

Who is blame? Is it Bowles? Is it the defense? No, it’s Baker Mayfield.

  70. SB~LV Says:

    Rod asking questions?
He usually has all the answers!

  71. Slacker Says:

The blame goes everywhere. Putting it all on mayfield is ridiculous. He’s been part of it yes,but let’s not forget what he did at the beginning of the season with his comebacks and effort plays. Zyon has been an issue, Winfield has been an issue, pass rush still garbage. Its coaching, play calling, effort, injuries and bad special teams combined. Its a dumpster fire

  72. Slacker Says:

Need to blow it up. Get new blood in here and let them decide which players they can utilize. Need a new culture.

  73. Smarter than Joe Says:

Only watching for Evans, and the talent on offense

Refuse to watch when the Defense is on the field

  74. Slacker Says:

And while I’m not saying its going to equal instant success, its a fresh start. This team will return broken next year again under bowles. Something has to give even though these players need to be more professional about their jobs.

  75. BPBucsfan Says:

@AlsottNumber1- His name crossed my mind too, all he did was win a SB and have consecutive 12 win seasons in Dallas. I bet a few people here would go for that right about now.

  76. Crazyhorse54 Says:

Rob, I agree with your comments; however, the salary cap mitigates against cutting players. The cap hit would cripple the team. The other option is cut the HC and his staff. No cap hit there. It’s sickening to watch.

  77. heyjude Says:

Chris is a good guy. He is trying hard.

There seems to be a breakdown all the way around. Sort of worrisome to see a team that was thriving in the beginning, to just have a domino effect now. Rooting for them to win Saturday. Love the Bucs!

  78. vadertime Says:

Time to call in the witch doctor. This team is cursed 🤬 or, worse they don’t care anymore 😤

  79. SB~LV Says:

Watch JMac next game and notice his speed and quickness…. Neither Evans or Godwin have that anymore!

  80. Tony Says:

    @BucsFan81

I said that a couple of weeks ago. I think they’ve pretty much already given up on Bowles.

  81. Newbie Says:

It’s like any other workplace – culture is terrible and it has shown on the field. All that Tom Brady “winning culture” BS is just what it is…. BS. And it’s been BS since he went through his divorce and that piss poor season. Here we are a few years later and it’s only gotten worse. And as I said before “you are what you tolerate.”

  82. Jeff Says:

Glazers boys, tis the season for a new head coach. Coach Derp Bowles has GOT TO GO!

  83. SB~LV Says:

Didn’t we have the very same conversation last year?

  84. Tom Petty Says:

    LOLOLOL 😂
Gotta laugh to keep from crying 😭

Chris returning to form, along with J-Mac are among the few bright spots currently.

  85. Tye Says:

    @SB
yes… accept a HUGE portion of us could see that Coen is 10x the coach as Bowels and pleaded for the owners to make Coen the HC….

Now Coen has turned around a losing team in just his 1st year and strong contenders in the AFC… Imagine if he had a 2nd year with this offense and brought in a top DC… Bucs would have reigned king of the NFC South!

  86. SB~LV Says:

    Tye….grrrr
I am SURE that is part of the locker room story!
Ronde is needed as General Manager to bring energy, enthusiasm and RESPECT back to the hallways of OBP .

  87. Outrigger Says:

The season is over. Falcons win last night put the fork in what was left of a miserable season. The game against the Panthers Saturday is meaningless.

  88. Buc in VA Says:

Jemel will jog onto the field and directly into the blue tent. Man took a big pay cut, made the Pro Bowl and is seen as an elite-level corner across the league, if you believe what analysts say. He’s like a college football player hoping to get drafted who decides to skip the bowl game.

  89. Tye Says:

Read a comment somewhere that said – what if the Rams threw the game knowing they will play an NFC South team in the 1st playoff game to have an easier start in the playoffs…

  90. HC Grover Says:

    Fans on the run,

  91. Whatevs Says:

I thought Jason only gets “good” guys.

Seems like this team if full of selfish brats that quit weeks ago and are protecting themselves for upcoming free agency and the off season

  92. Adam Says:

Bowels last game as head coach! LFG

  93. #99 the big fella Says:

I felt a little bit better when it was just we had to beat the Panthers now the Saints have to beat Atlanta as well. That’s it folks. This season is officially over on Saturday.

  94. Jonzey Says:

Diggs has been released from the Cowboys, we need to get him bad.

How about just rooting for the Bucs? They’re at home. It’s not a sell-out, but you can bet tix are way overpriced. Age. of. tRump. Bucs will win as long as they also get ready for the refs as well as their opponents.

Richard Sherman , “ I know some things “. Going to be an interesting off season when anonymous sources share what we don’t yet know.

  99. Kidfloflo Says:

Gonna be hilarious when we put together our first true game when all phases finally click and we roll the Panthers only to get frogged by the Falcons and miss the playoffs!! Haaaha I mean if only we could have taken down ONE of the juggernauts we faced in the last 2 months

  100. Tom Petty Says:

    @Kidfloflo
I was thinking the same thing – it would only be fitting that we kill the Panthers and excel in all areas and then get bumped by the falcons winning Sunday. 😂🤣😭

yes… accept a HUGE portion of us could see that Coen is 10x the coach as Bowels and pleaded for the owners to make Coen the HC….

    ———

For the billionth time, the NFL’s hiring rules made it impossible for the Bucs to simply promote Coen. Before they could make him head coach they would have had to fire Bowles, then did a scam hiring process oh holding interviews based on skin color, and only then could the Bucs hire Coen. But in the meantime, anyone else could have came in and hired Coen. It’s ridiculous that the NFL still thinks it’s 1860 and wants coaches judge on the color of their skin, but that’s not the Bucs doing. Also it’s not a dig at Bowles, he’s been clear on all this nonsense and how it shouldn’t still be occurring.

Additionally, those same bogus policies also lead the Bucs to getting screwed out of a 3rd round pick they would have got.

The Glazers could not simply promote Coen – people act like they could have just handed him the job, and they could not have. Personally I was on record last year saying why I knew the Glazers wouldn’t give the reins to Coen, because of this idiocy, but I also said they should do it anyways, and just take whatever BS fine the NFL came up with, and then sue the NFL to get it back, and reverse these dumb rules that are decades out of date.

  102. Gipper Says:

CG tried to comeback too early this season and he really struggled. Some here said he would never be the same. He looked like the real CG last week. Hard to play while injured. Mayfield has done it for last two months. Maybe he shouldn’t have. Notice that Lamar Jackson tends to sit out when banged up. Kind of unreasonable for an injured Mayfield to play behind a line that can’t protect him. Also, don’t get why OC didn’t have Baker throw quick drop inside slants requiring less time. The Grizz offense seems plodding. As said before, with Mayfield running a quick 2min offense the team has more rhythm and direction.
