Bucs “Home” Game In Miami?

December 26th, 2025

“Pete, I hope you’re right!”

A team needing a win to make the playoffs against a team needing a loss to help tank is the difference in Sunday’s game.

That’s the word from NFL insider prickly Pete Prisco of CBS. He thinks the Bucs should have Sunday’s game in the bag because of the consequences.

In fact, Prisco believes so many Bucs fans will travel across Alligator Alley for the game, that Bucs fans will take over Hard Rock Stadium.

The Bucs have to win the next two to win the division. Miami is done and the past two weeks has played like it. This is a road game for Tampa Bay, but will it feel like it? Look for Tampa Bay to win it behind a better showing from Baker Mayfield and the offense.

Man, Joe doesn’t know about Bucs fans taking over Hard Rock Stadium. Bucs fans have a hard time taking over The Licht House. And given the malaise Bucs fans are under currently due to the state of the team, when 56 percent of Bucs fans hope the Bucs don’t make the playoffs, Joe has a hard time seeing Hard Rock Stadium turn red.

If that did happen, it would be cool.

For those eager, Joe sees tickets for under $100 on the secondary market.

The joint will be near empty!

  2. Alanbucsfan Says:

Almost double the ticket price for parking at Hard Rock Stadium

  3. DBS Says:

Not going to happen. More people will make the trip from Miami. The stadium will not be close to full.

  4. Inwoodjeremy Says:

The NFL is in the entertainment business and needs a Cinderella story. With the Kansas City Swifts and Detroit eliminated, the Bucs fit perfectly, while Carolina could emerge as another. Grizz, who might be just two weeks away from never being an NFL OC again, gets Mayfield dialed in this week against the Dolphins. Oddsmakers at HRB have the Bucs scoring 25–28 points. If they face the Rams in the playoffs, Todd will have to break the honor system for the script to play out.

  5. Pewter Power Says:

We will be there! Got free tickets from a Fins season ticket fan who refuses to go! While I don’t think this coaching staff should have jobs next season, it’s impossible to not root for my(OUR) team to win! Been a fan since 1982, and even when it hurt the worst, I was still was a fan and always want the Bucs to win!
    GO BUCS!

  6. heyjude Says:

I can see a lot of fans going. A lot of people off from work for the holidays. Go Bucs!

  7. westernpennafan Says:

If the Bucs win 2games they are Div champs. If the Bucs win 3more games they will be NFC Champs. If the Bucs win the 6th game the Bucs will hoist the Lombardy Trophy.

Seems doable doesn’t it? Think Disney. “If you wish upon a star. Makes no difference who you are. Every thing your heart desires will come to you.”

Are you listening Bake? Mike? Chris? Tristian? Vita?
Just 6 games. Let the ball rip and demonstrate “violence of action on defense.”
That is the last thing anybody in the “Fake News” expects and most other people.

  8. jcscycles Says:

    Never give up!

  9. JustVisiting Says:

I’m with you, westernpennafan. It’s a playoff, not a best record competition. So long as the Bucs are still in it, only the next game matters!

  10. Vegasbuc Says:

    Fire Todd

  11. BucsfaninOregon Says:

When a “normal” team faces a NFL team dumping their QB and trying to lose for higher draft spot, the spread would be 10-14 points. What’s this one, 5 1/2? This shows you what outsiders think of Buc chances. Still going to watch and try not to throw something thru the TV.

    It’s a Buc life. Sigh!

  12. SB~LV Says:

I doubt that the people who actually own season tickets for either team will be the ones walking into the stadium.
Reselling on after market, giving to friends who have never been to an NFL game, that is who will be in the stands!

  13. johnnythemoon Says:

Our Fans are bad most want to give back the 2002 SB because it was Dungys team and the 2020 Mahomes was missing 2 O-linemen so it should not count .

  14. Mike Johnson Says:

I have no faith in my Bucs team. I got the Dolphins winning. And nobody, not even you, will be surprised. This Buc team Sucks.

  15. Joe in Michigan Says:

I’ll never underestimate Todd Bowles ability to screw up a wet dream.

  16. wlliam Says:

    YES PLEASE FIRE TODD

  17. Lastbeing Says:

Just a few more weeks till fate approaches..

  18. Wilder32 Says:

Bucs as a 6 pt favorite on the road is a joke.

  19. BA’s Red Pen Says:

    Mike Johnson is correct.

  20. Tye Says:

Not one person I’ve talked to has any plans to attend one game next year if Bowels is retained…. Like let every seat be empty at Ray Jay as long as the owners embrace mediocrity for buddy system!

  21. SBucs Says:

Todd will do his best to embarrass Bucs fans. Two uninspired teams looking to rid themselves of the yoke of making millions playing football. Prepare yourselves for more Todd excuses for two more weeks.

  22. Cleanhouse Says:

Joe, I think Licht house should be restored to it’s original name den of depression if the Panthers beat us at home. What say you?

  23. Baking with the next one Says:

What are the odds the game ends up a TIE!?!?!?!?!??

  24. Baking with the next one Says:

This is the HOT POTATO game. lol

  25. HC Grover Says:

    Fish tank for draft.

  26. unbelievable Says:

    LMAO.

Bucs fans can’t even take over the crowd in their home stadium, why on Earth would anyone think they could do so at an away game? Especially after this season’s epic and pathetic collapse?

That hasn’t happened at an away game since they played in San Diego back in 2016.

  27. Rod Munch Says:

Look for Tampa Bay to win it behind a better showing from Baker Mayfield and the offense.

    ————-

WOW, that implies that MVP Baker hasn’t been getting the job done.

    Prisco with the hot take.

  28. ModHairKen Says:

A year ago I went to Dallas. Beautiful stadium. Great entertainment district around it. Dallas fans were lovely before and after the game.

Why, after all of the nonsense they’ve laid down, would I subject myself to the drive down to Miami, in a weird stadium, with nothing nice around it?

Especially when they’ve loafed and lost the last three against bad or mediocre division foes that any team with pride would have 3 zipped?

  29. Steven007 Says:

Me and my buddies were fully intending on attending That game, had already checked out tickets and such. As soon as we won the Panthers game we were going to solidify those plans. Well…. I’m sure there will be plenty others, but we decided to watch this one on TV.

  30. PSL Bob Says:

Pewter Power, mad respect bro! I just don’t understand fans who only root for the Bucs when they’re doing well. It’s one thing to identify areas in need of improvement, but wanting them to lose or not rooting for them is not what a fan is.

  31. BucU Says:

Regardless of when this miserable season ends Todd Bowles and all his staff must go.
    Period.

  32. MJ Says:

look for the Miami players to come out and act like professionals, they will try to win and they will succeed!! TB can’t beat a high school JV team at this point. the only reason we beat the Cardinals was they gave up and they had a horrible qb

  33. Louie Says:

Relying on Miami to tank so the Bucs can win is a hoax!

  34. Rash Says:

Hey Johnny the moon, Bucs won Super Bowl 2002 with 22 out of 53 players new, 5 of 11 new starters on offense 40% turnover. Gruden is a head coach who wins why didn’t Dungy win with his team? Cause he was a great human/ man but wants to do it his way not smart. 10 yrs with Bucs and 4 hall of gamers on defense 0 super bowls. In Indianapolis. 11 years with top qb(besides Brady) and win one Super Bowl 21 years. 1 Super Bowl. Like Toilet Bowles thinks it is 1950

  35. PoopyPants Says:

PHINS 35 YUCS 20, PANTHERS 30 SEATTLE 24, BYE BYE YUCS

  36. Tony Says:

    They’ll be on South Beach.

  37. JohnnyGee Says:

    Get in the tournament.

  38. Scorpio6926 Says:

I’ll be at this game rooting for my Bucs. Screw the rest of the fair weather fans! Go Bucs!

  39. LakelandSteve Says:

Probably the only Bucs fans who will show up will be the players wives and families.

  40. View from 132 Says:

The NFL needs to fix the tanking teams thing, like the Raiders decision to bench several guys. Easy to fix if they have the nerve.
