Bucs History Made Against Atlanta

Joe is trying to keep thoughts away from the gutless loss to the Dixie Chicks. Sadly, the last thing Joe remembers is that game.
Lost in the collective facepalm is Bucs receiver Chris Godwin made franchise history Thursday. It’s understandable how the loss overshadowed such a feat.
Godwin scored a touchdown against the Dixie Chicks and had a two-point conversion on the play. The touchdown put Godwin in serious company. The touchdown was Godwin’s 40th of his career. He became just the second Bucs player to have 40 touchdowns. The other? His teammate, Mike Evans.
Godwin’s two-point conversion broke a tie with Evans for the most two-point conversions in club history, with five. Godwin also now ranks ninth overall in NFL history for two-point conversions.
You can tell that Godwin is slowly getting back to his Pro Bowl self, more so game by game.

We need a different type of defensive game plan Like jjp,yaya and Riddick as speed rushers maybe keep deon Jones and rotate walker in there get tykee healthy and we should be able to hang with some folks but I don’t believe those guys are on the roster just yet mentally people forget we have alot of young players starting who have not battled nfl adversity there is hope with our offense getting healthy we can score 30 and hope the defense can at least force a punt or field goal once in a while…lol..one thing missing this year have been halftime adjustments usually bowles has been good with coming up with plans to slow down the other team but as of this year he seems more aggressive calling the same stuff like it’s preseason and he want to install during live games

Deion Jones looks fast. And fit. And smart.
I cant believe Bowles started à undrafted FA rookie over a former Pro Bowl!
And you could see that Jones was hyped to play his former team!
MLB has killed us two years in a row.
First with KJ Britt and now with SVD.
LVD is the GOAT but he has lost à step.
So? We need a fast MLB next to him to make up for LVDs lost speed!

The shame of that all even more is that we’ve drafted and developed 2 receivers and defensive guys but never a qb in over 50 years. It’s also a shame that Mike Evans lost his chance at beating Jerry Rice’s record

Does anyone doubt we’d be a real contender with a real coach? We’d be the Rams with McVay. Hell we’d be the Jags with Coen. Todd needs to go. Licht has given us some great players over the years. He’s also given us as many, if not more busts. This roster needs a new set of eyes. It’s obvious Licht is bias signing Zyon to that stupid extention, being good with Braswell, and Dennis? Go get a young GM, and coach to start the next 50 years, it’s time.

Licht lost so much credibility declaring Braswell was going to have a breakout season. The guy may be cut before the start of next season.

Good seeing the receiver group back. Got tired of watching the smurfs struggle to get separation. On that score, Tez is just a change of pace player never an every down receiver.

Come Sunday we better see a really pissed team giving their all.
What a shame this season has been missing our starters on offense all year. No Mike or Chris or Jalen or Bucky to root for. They’re back and the season starts now! If only we had our starting guards (or even one).

I wonder what would have happened this year had we not drafted Morrison but traded up a bit into the first round again and gotten Campbell, some old of the type of linebacker that our defense needs big fast athletic….

Lots of the usual air pollution on here about how Ungodly CG14 was washed up, not the same player, etc., etc. Boring. Guess he shut that noise up for a nanosecond. This is the same player who turned down more lucrative coin from other teams to come back and play this season. What about that one? Whatever. Go Bucs and Ungodly Chris Godwin!!
