Bucs Fans Might Feel New Orleans’ Filthy On Sunday

December 30th, 2025

“Learn to love me, Bucs fans!”

Joe has a love/hate relationship with the Big Easy, New Orleans.

The city has two things going for it, both on the extremes.

The first is the food and nightlife. It’s second to none, with Las Vegas a close second. In Vegas, you need an Uber (or a cab if you are Ira Kaufman) to go barhopping. In New Orleans, you just walk next door.

The other extreme is how filthy New Orleans is. All that p!ss and barf on the sidewalks, in the bathrooms, everywhere. And mule dung all over the streets in the French Quarter. Disgusting!

Bucs fans might be New Orleans’ filthy come Sunday. If the Bucs win on Saturday, they do not automatically win the NFC South. If Atlanta beats New Orleans after a Bucs win, it will be Carolina that wins the NFC South due to the NFL’s convoluted tiebreaker system.

That’s because Atlanta beat the Rams last night.

Saad Yousuf of The Athletic has a detailed breakdown behind a paywall of how a win for the Bucs on Saturday no longer locks Tampa Bay in to win the division and reach the playoffs.

So brace yourself, Bucs fans, the Bucs might have to become slimy Saints fans for about three hours on Sunday. Better dig out your black and gold parasol. And be prepared to shower off all that New Orleans grime immediately after the game.

Picture yourself on Sunday, settling into your couch or barstool with a cold one, and you have to root for Cam Jordan to sack Kirk Cousins. This is what the Bucs have indirectly done to you with their collapse.

you really think this team shows up to win a game in week 18? we couldn’t even beat the dolphins last week. we are the 2nd or 3rd worst team in the NFL. i think the only teams we could beat right now are the raiders and jets

  2. Buc Wild Says:

The Saints are not beating the Falcons. As much as I wanted that 5th division title in a row that’s never been done in our division, we don’t deserve it. Good news is we will never have to worry about Todd Bowles again.

  3. common sense Says:

also want to add, the fan base has abandoned this team. as a season ticket holder i will not be renewing. i want to see them clean house on the coaching staff and only if they bring in an offensive head coach will i give this franchise my energy next year. it’s great to be loyal to your employees, but this is a cutthroat business and you need to do what’s necessary to deliver a good product on the field. the glazers haven’t done what’s necessary to earn my dollars and my time this season. no moves at trade deadline despite desperately needing help and no abandoning bowles 3 weeks ago when it was clear this team was falling apart with his leadership.

  4. Lakeland Says:

    Go Birds!!!

  5. BucsFan81 Says:

Panthers will most likely win on Saturday so you might not even have to watch the nasty Saints on Sunday. Instead we will be talking about the next head coach.

  6. Simeon4HOF Says:

Doubt Cam Jordan plays very hard Sunday lol

  7. Simeon4HOF Says:

Let’s go Saints beat the playoffless dirty birds!

    That’s where we are at.
    After 6-2

  8. Unknownoutlier Says:

I foresee another 10+ years of despair coming on. This team is one of the worst in the league. Right there with the titans and jets

  9. Brandon Says:

I can’t think of one good reason this team deserves a playoff spot. They’re not a good team and pissed their season away. They’re not hungry or driven to be better – all I see is a team that has a leadership problem, where everyone wants to point the finger at what the issues are. I would honestly have a better draft position then make the playoffs with a one and done.

  10. Mike S Says:

    LOL Playoffs? Playoffs?

I hope the new coach next year brings Kyle Trask back

  11. Simeon4HOF Says:

Can hear Coen laughing from Jville smh

  12. Tackleblockwin Says:

Just want the season to be over. Hope we trade a lot of players and draft well. Let the rebuild begin.

  13. Simeon4HOF Says:

Just when the Bucs might be able to motivate themselves enough to Win one more game for the City of 9,
Just when it really was finally a must win.
It dont even matter unless the Saints

  14. Tye Says:

Rooting for the Falcons is one thing but NEVER for the Saints… NOT EVER!

  15. Lastbeing Says:

It might be destiny for Bowles to be fired after all, lmao. Even if we win, the Falcons must lose. F****** pathetic. Is this roster really that bad? Why hasn’t Jason said s*** all year? If it weren’t for Brady and Arians, where would this organization be right now? Hire Lafleur. Trust me!

  16. Tbbucsfan Says:

Nothing to worry about. We are 1-7 after the buy, the 3rd worst team on the league. We have a 0% chance of beating the Panthers and anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional. Nothing this team has done in the last 2 months shows any ability to be anything other than a top 5 pick team. Thats not changing until we retool some players and get another coach. Again, anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional. Just hope our owners/GM aren’t stupid enough to be that delusional.

  17. unbelievable Says:

Love the city- hate their football team.

I am as diehard as they come and I truly don’t care anymore. Biggest collapse in history.

For the love of God just fire Todd Bowles at the end of the season and put us all out of this misery of mediocrity and ineptitude.

  18. Cleanhouse Says:

It’s kind of fun that all of the teams in our division may come down to deciding it’s champion

  19. FortMyersDave Says:

Saints could tank for better draft position.

  20. Daryl Green Says:

The thing is when we had Dirk, salami and a young coach who wants to be homies with the team and two young immature quarterbacks we knew we were bad, this is unacceptable. For real. Epic collapse

  21. MadMax Says:

Well, Im gonna save everyone some time and energy….

We aint beating the Panthers and the Aints arent beating the dirty birds….

    Sorry

I mean I would love it!…but its not happening!

    Perspective people, REALITY!

Anyways, as long as todd is gone, and grizzard and the rest I guess (i dont know them) but a new HC will want his own staff and thats how it should be.

Jason, you on this or what man? Glazers?

  22. Daryl Green Says:

Ok Guys have a Happy New Year’s be safe. Blessings for your families.Aloha & Mahalo From the Aloha State, see you on Black Monday
    Go Bucs!!! 🤙🏾👊🏾👊🏾

  23. MadMax Says:

Btw, the way I saw that Atlanta D play tonight, we’re in big trouble next year…..

  24. Sly Pirate Says:

LOL! The Bucs aren’t winning a game.

  25. Bucfan Says:

I would never cheer for the disgusting Saints. If they when great, but I could never lower myself to be a fan l, even for one day.

  26. HC Grover Says:

Bucs do not deserve the title

  27. Adam Says:

Bowles should be fired on the simple fact that Logan Hall is on our defense.

This whole thing is such a clown show. “Defensive guru” lmao. Have you watched our defense the last 8 weeks? And he’s not a head Coach either. Not in the NFL anyways. There are things called intangibles, and he doesn’t have any of them.

  28. Adam Says:

This isn’t personal with Bowles- It’s business.
And the weak and spineless ownership needs to
step up and do their job.

  29. FortMyersDave Says:

Adam, the only thing Logan Hall has ever done as a Buc, besides occupying a roster spot and being a bust is ending Ryan Jensen’s career.
