Patriots At Bucs, TV Map

November 8th, 2025

Holy Flirkingschmidt! This is like the old days when Tom Brady was the Bucs’ quarterback.

Most of our republic will get to watch the Patriots-Bucs game tomorrow free via their local CBS affiliate. Notice Joe typed “most.”

Despite the game being broadcast on CBS from coast-to-coast, not so here in Florida. The only folks who will get to see the Patriots-Bucs game free via their CBS affiliate are right here in the Tampa Bay area and the Panhandle.

Basically from Orlando north, CBS will broadcast the Jags and south of Orlando residents of the Sunshine State will be treated to squirrely Mike McDaniel and the sad sack Dolphins.

Based on missives from the Orlando area, Bucs fans in central Florida are peeved about this.

For those who won’t get the game from their local CBS affiliate, it’s either Sunday Ticket on YouTubeTV or off to your local watering hole.

Joe’s favorite choice in those conditions is Hooters!  Cold beer, hot wings, plenty of TVs and the famous Hooters girls. What more does a Bucs fan need (other than a win)?

Jim Nantz, the pride of Eastern Illinois University Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson will handle the call.

Enjoy the game!

(Why is it that it appears the good people of Minnesota are angry with CBS for not piping in the Patriots-Bucs game throughout the entire Land of Ten Thousand Lakes?)

CBS Broadcast Map

Red: New England @ Tampa Bay
Blue: Jacksonville @ Houston
Yellow: Buffalo @ Miami
Orange: Cleveland @ NY Jets
Green: Arizona @ Seattle (LATE)

As always, the TV map is courtesy of 506Sports.com.

What a travesty this is! I’m so sick of this crap!

  8. MelvinJunior Says:

It’s pretty wild that Jim Nantz and Freddie Couples were actual roommates while at Houston. I remember it blowing my mind after finding that out about it when I was a kid. It is also, pretty mind-blowing to me, HOW in the WORLD did the NFL give the JAG’s the whole friggin’ “Orlando Region” thru the entire middle of the STATE!? And, just totally SCREWING the Bucs AND the people in Orlando, who have been longtime BUCS FANS waaaayyy before Jacksonville even HAD a team!? It’s total, complete BS. I just spent the entire MONTH of May up in Orlando, and NEVER ONCE saw the FIRST JAG’s hat, shirt, or any-freaking-thing! It’s really a JOKE.

  9. OrlandoBucsFan Says:

Living in Orlando SUCKS !!! I don’t want to see Jaguars !!!!

  10. ChiBuc Says:

Ughh, local market be damned!! Instead, I get pink pinkie nail polish on fox

  11. Bucfan593 Says:

I have no idea why southwest Florida if forced to watch the putrid dolphins game every time they play on CBS at the same time. Tampa Bay local zone is too small.

  12. Bucs 95 Says:

Pathetic second bucs game this season not showing in the orlando area

  13. Nelson99 Says:

I emailed Wink TV in Fort Myers and was told that is a network decision to continue to show the Dullphins.

  14. Elite Vita Says:

Arrrrgh, Once again Central Florida stuck with seeing Houston vs Jacksonville instead of our beloved Bucs!

  15. Gotti-Dog-05-20-84 Says:

As if I care about the Cardinals or the Seahawks….it’s a good thing there’s a work around

  16. BucsFan81 Says:

I live in Orlando and bought Sunday ticket cause I am tired of seeing the Jags play. It will be even worse when the Jaguars start playing in Orlando while they rebuild their stadium. At that point it will be nothing but Jaguar games.

  17. MelvinJunior Says:

Bucfan593 – doesn’t make a lot of sense. The Tampa Bay Metro REGION goes all the way down to at least VENICE (and Sebring in the middle). I mean, all the local news stations cover all of these areas down there, AND the TB High School Football Region includes all of that area, as well. If you look on MaxPreps… Venice is considered being in the TB Metro Area. Now, I can see Fort Myers-Naples being more in the Miami Dolphins tv-area, mostly because of the Dolphins being sooo good for so many years, under Shula-Greise/Marino, & etc. Though, most of those people are probably dead by now, it’s been so long since the Dolphins have been any good. LoL. Looks pretty obvious to me that the NFL really screwed the Bucs over (and the people of Orlando), by giving that entire area to the JAGS. Hell, I made it all the way to Disney in just about an HOUR one time, coming all the way from CLEARWATER (on a Sunday Morning)… And, I think Downtown Orlando is ONLY ‘90-MILES’ from my house!!!! Makes NO Sense. The Bucs got hosed.

  18. MelvinJunior Says:

They should really ‘switch-up’ the Fort Myers-Cape Coral-Naples Metro, and promote whichever team between Tampa Bay and Miami, happens to be THE BEST (especially by this time of year, when it is obviously clear)… Same goes for Orlando with the Bucs and Jags. At least with whichever is obviously, THE BEST game of the day! It would really help the ‘tv-ratings’ in each area, you’d think.

  19. MelvinJunior Says:

Nelson99 Says: “I emailed Wink TV in Fort Myers and was told that is a network decision to continue to show the Dullphins.”

Then, that’s just stupidity. It seems pretty logical and smart to me to show the best game that would bring in the most eyeballs, and help the ratings. If you had a choice between the two teams. Prob some dumbass running the station and hasn’t even crossed their minds to do s anything different, by being flexible. Prob only knows one-way, and that’s just gonna be the way it is, since it always has.

    Lets go! On Wisconsin

That’s a good point. I’ve thought about that. It’s such a smart move by the JAGS Owner, especially if they end up being real good and exciting on offense. They’ll pull many area Bucs-Fans away, that way! You know the Bucs FO cannot be happy about that, either.

  22. Rusty Shackleford Says:

BUFF STREAMS are your friend, especially if you live in Orlando.

  23. BucU Says:

What an absolute crock of $//t this is. We fans around the state are getting screwed and deserve better. I hate what the NFL has become.

  24. gp Says:

    Helooooooooo Hooters!

  25. gp Says:

Nobody complains about Hooters orange and white uni’s!

  26. orlbucfan Says:

Hey Joe, how about a plug for Bucs Radio? I’m in Orlando and I do NOT miss the boob tube coverage! It’s legit and easy to access. Just go to buccaneers.com and follow the instructions. That’s where I will be. Go Bucs!! I feel a win tomorrow in spite of the refs.

  27. FortMyersDave Says:

Good points on the website from Bucs dot com. Also, fans in the CBS Bucs blackout zone can get the game on the Bucs radio network. A lot of people with a good TV antenna in Charlotte and northern Lee County can get the Tampa TV stations with one, I do. I suspect you can in Orange County and surrounding areas as well.

  28. Joe Says:

    orlbucfan:

Joe mentions the Buccaneers Radio Network each week in his midnight post of “GameDay Tampa Bay.”

Guys remember, CBS is generally (used to be always, not it is just generally) an AFC network. So of course they are going to pipe in Jags/Dolphins games.

The same applies if Bucs are on FOX.

As for Orlando televising Jags games, Orlando is going to be a Jags town pretty soon. Jags plan to play the 2027 season in Orlando while the Gator Bowl is rebuilt.

Orlando is going to do everything to jump on the Jags bangwagon now. Watch the Orlando Slantinel start covering Jags games and showing up there for practices. The CBS affiliate in Orlando will now show nothing but the Jags.

The powers that be in Orlando are now going to embrace the Jags as their own.

  29. FortMyersDave Says:

Joe has a great point about Orlando trying to show the world they can support an NFL team which can be something they could bring up if they do try to get a major league franchise when MLB expands or if the Rays come in play or if they think they could compete with otger places llike Portland, San Antone, etc if the NFL expands. I guess tge Jags felt Orlando was a better choice than Gainesville or the Daytona infield to host games but I wond if they will expand their presence in London. They have played 2 games there before, could they go for 3 or 4?

  30. heyjude Says:

Holy cow on the map! Feel bad for the parts of FL where there are many Bucs fans, including Orlando.

I am not a Nantz fan at all. Tracy does a good job on the sidelines. Tony shows a lot of excitement and has in the past for the Bucs. Go Bucs!

  31. Zoocomics Says:

    Spacecoasters get screwed.

  32. Joseph C Simmons Says:

Such BS. I have no idea why we’re considered a “Dolphins” market in Cape Coral/Fort Myers. We’re literally two hours from Tampa and two hours from Miami. I gotta find a someone with Sunday Ticket or use a pirate stream I guess.
