Panthers Knock Off The Rams

November 30th, 2025

The Fighting Canaleses showed they are very much for real today with a stunning win against the Rams in Charlotte.

The opportunistic Panthers defense forced turnovers and moved the ball up and down the field on Los Angeles.

Panthers QB Bryce Young bounced back from a horrendous Monday night game to throw three touchdown passes and Carolina ran the ball down the Rams’ throat. The Panthers’ defense made Matthew Stafford look mortal.

Carolina is now 7-6. The Bucs are 7-5. The teams will face each other in Week 16 (at Charlotte) and Week 18 (in Tampa).

What a finish this is going to be in the NFC South.

Is it too late to implore Canales or Cohen to be our coach?

  2. Steven #55 Says:

    Are we????

  3. SBucs13 Says:

I would guess the Panthers are coach a lot better.

  4. SteveK Says:

How did the Carolina edge rush do? I bet their pick 6 was on pressure. We don’t have an edge rusher worth their salt, and a GM that stop proud to make a trade when they’re out there. Inexcusable.

  5. Lewi Says:

We let TWO very good coaches go to keep Bowles lol hope management is happy

  6. TheVerv7 Says:

    @D-Mac

Knowing the Glazers and Licht let Coen out the door and extended Turtle Todd pisses me off beyond measure.

  7. Bonan Says:

Let two promising young coaches go and kept a crusty old man with an outdated defensive scheme. This is going to hurt for a long time.

  8. James west Says:

    Not the finish we want

  9. Colonel Angus Says:

    Panthers be ballin’

  10. firethecannons Says:

Panthers hot n cold wow impressed with their win

  11. BucsOnDeck24 Says:

    This sucks

  12. Colonel Angus Says:

I’m glad Panthers won, tired of winning sh!tty division. Bucs gonna have to earn it this year hopefully and may lead to better post season play if we get in.

  13. Bonan Says:

I never felt so bad after a win lol

  14. HC Grover Says:

Betcha it comes down to the last game again.

  15. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Does anyone fear this Bucs team? I doubt it!

  16. Rod Stewart Says:

Panthers will beat the bucs twice bank on that

  17. Justin_ Says:

Panthers are gonna be tough to close the season out.

  18. Bucfan1988 Says:

When Carolina beats Bucs twice and their offense puts up 30 both games on this crappy pathetic defensive scheme, Glazers better wake the hell up and blow up this coaching staff!!!!

    Otherwise Bucs fans will mutiny!!

As of right now, the Cardinals do…

  20. BuxfaninTX Says:

I watched that game here in texas….Carolina is very physical, and they out-physical Ed LA

  21. Simeon4HOF Says:

    The fighting canal asses lolol

  22. jcscycles Says:

Panthers won by 3. They got multiple turnovers and a defensive score.

And their coach was nothing special. We had him. If you don’t remember, then I would question if you are a Bucs fan.

  23. DBS Says:

Seriously doubt the Cardinals fear the Bucs. Their missed FG came back to bite them. Our offense and defense were nothing to write home about.

  24. Bonan Says:

@jcscycles he wasn’t bad as a first year OC.

  25. dbbuc711 Says:

No way do I see tye bucs beating the panthers

  26. Anyhony Says:

Did we just win??? After reading these comments you wouldn’t think so. People complaining about the coach that has us in first.

  27. Mike Johnson Says:

It is very possible that the Carolina Panthers win the division. They are improving weekly. I just don’t have an ounce of faith in Bowles Defense. None whatsoever. At least we all know our Bucs will not be playing in the Super Bowl. That’s a fact.

  28. D-Mac Says:

Anyhony, its because we are limping our way through the mid-season, whereas teams like the Panthers and Jaguars are showing marked improvement. We fans who are complaining are simply extrapolating the remaining season, and it looks grim.

  29. Pewter Power Says:

Carolina’s defense was booty last year now look at them. Once again winning the division in the last weeks meaning we’re not much better in the draft than our counterparts. If it’s not the players then it’s the coach. The mid season collapse every year is crazy

  30. Bucs And Them Says:

Our defense is just plain bad but, our offense the last 7 games getting worse week by week. Unfortunately, our team is not playoff material. Not even close. Dropped passes, overthrows, stupid penalties, missed tackles, no creative play calling with a flow & feel. A head coach overseeing the whole thing as if he’s an innocent bystander. Frustrating to watch.

  31. Aqualung Says:

Panthers will sweep the Bowleszo and win the division. It’s very clear.

  32. Saskbucs Says:

Uh to those saying Canales isn’t special… maybe he isn’t a special play caller but remember, it was his first year in the role when he was with us. What was clear as day, is that he could properly orate, motivate and keep a positive atmosphere around the team. Leader of men.

He is showing it in Carolina as HC. Also, they scored 2 TDs on 4th and short going for it with longer passes. That’s more impressive than anything Bowles and Grizzard have accomplished with our offense. Grabbing your sack and executing. Not just running into a wall.

Anyone who would rather have Bowles leading the team over Canales or Coen who quickly has the Jags in 1st… isn’t paying attention. Bucs were in a tough spot, I understand why neither was retained but a lot of us knew that this scenario was plausible if not likely.

  33. Bojim Says:

I found myself rooting for the underdog as usual.

  34. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

Panthers are ascending. I’m not sure the Bucs win twice this season against them. Probably not even once. We’ll see.

  35. Bob Says:

    Jags vs panthers in SB?

  36. Bonan Says:

@saskbucs, agreed. I think Coen was a huge missed opportunity. Either way, go BUCS!

  37. Coconut Doughnut Says:

We have already fired a coach before in favor of a coordinator. We see how that worked.

  38. Whatevs Says:

If the panthers beat the best team ever, what does that mean for the Bucs

  39. Deeboooo Says:

What do you mean whatevs? The Panthers haven’t played us yet 😉

I was about to write something and share my thoughts but you wrote exactly what I wanted to say. Too sloppy and bad football from our Bucs and all that at the time in the season where a team is supposed to finding their way.

    Go Bucs

  41. MelvinJunior Says:

Yeup. Hahah Good Ol’ MelvinJunior did pick the Panthers to BEAT the Rams on here, just a couple of days ago, over Thanksgiving! AND, also said, with still 3-4 games left LAST SEASON, that the Bucs FO better have ‘the decision’ already MADE concerning Cohen and Bowles. It was 💯 a No-BRAINER, and was the OBVIOUS move to make. It should’ve been EASY. Anyone with ANY amount of sense (and eyes), who was being 💯truthful, unbiased, and completely honest, KNEW-IT. And, as I said THEN… It was THE ONLY ‘move’ to make. There was no getting around it… You had to DO-IT. PERIOD. That, whatever it takes… You canNOT allow him to walk outta that door. PERIOD. End of Story. BUT, they ‘tried’ having their cake and eating-it, too! Until, they fricking PANICKED after finding-out that HE was already ‘in a meeting’ with JAX. Too Late! But, they desperately tried. Again, TOO LATE. We just better hope AND PRAY that it doesn’t turnout being a “Babe Ruth-BOSOX” type of deal, that haunts-us’ for the next 86 freaking YEARS!!!!

  42. FortMyersDave Says:

Hate to burst all the Panthers’ fans bubble but Carolina is a team that is up and down and when they are down, they can look really bad, just like their home loss to the Saints along with losing to the Pats 42-13. Now don’t get me wrong, they will bring their A game against Bowles just like everyone else and will probably embarrass him in that first matchup but I can also see Bryce Young grabbing his ankles versus the Aints and losing as well.
