Luke Goedeke Activated

November 8th, 2025

Good news.

Well, this is promising.

Joe guesses if the Bucs didn’t think right tackle Luke Goedeke could play tomorrow as the Bucs host the Patriots, the Bucs would keep him on the injured reserve list.

That’s not the case. The Bucs today pulled Goedeke off the injured reserve list and placed him on the active roster. He’s now eligible to play tomorrow.

Goekeke injured his foot in the season opener against the Dixie Chicks. He started Week 2 but never made it to halftime. He aggravated his foot injury and hasn’t played since.

The way the Bucs’ offensive line has played the past two games — uncharacteristically poor — getting its starting right tackle back can only help.

This guy wears a funny foam over his helmet he looks like a character from the Jetson’s, this wont help what will help is to bench Baker and out Teddy 2 Gloves Bridgewater in as your starting QB

Must be a lotta glue down under.

  3. White Tiger Says:

Great to see this – hope Luke is healthy – will be watching as this could be the turning point to an improved line & protection for Baker.

    Let’s Go!

  4. Dewey Selmon Says:

Heck better be ready to go if Luke has a setback.

  5. Bucky Says:

Predicting 1st run is to his side. Hopefully he stays healthy the rest of the way, Baker can be confident in the pocket if Wirfs is back to himself and Luke.

  6. Hodad Says:

I’m more curious as to who will be starting next to him? Right guard has been a revolving door since Cody went down. It’s affected the play of both Barton, and Heck. Someone needs to lock it down.

Is it better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Hodad, I’m guessing Haggard is back at RG now that he is also healthy. Unless they really liked Feeney there.

This is the best OL we are gonna see for the Bucs this year. 4 starters in their proper positions. Let’s hope they stay healthy and start to click sooner than later!

    Great News!

A healthy Luke Goedeke (even if he hasn’t played for almost 2 months) is a HUGE upgrade for us at RT.

Props to Andy Heck for holding down the fort so to speak – he improved a bit while Luke was out and stayed healthy so Heck did his job admirably….

Bucs win by more than a td. Pats are due to lay an egg

Excited to get him back but we are so limited on weapons right now. This team has a chance at the Super Bowl this year and we did nothing at trade deadline.

Very frustrated by that I think we wil probably go 0-3 over these next 3 games then 6-0 to finish 12-5 hopefully that gets us the 2 seed.

If we are going to sneak one of the next 3 this game against Patriots at home might be are best hope but really needed a weapon on offense back or to make a trade to add as tight end or WR.
