Straight Up Curb-Stomping
October 20th, 2025
Off tonight.
Joe feared this would happen.
Last week the Lions were jobbed out of a potential win by NFL officials in New York. To make matters worse, the NFL then told the Lions to knock off their habit of punching footballs loose.
Dan Campbell was going to have his Lions ready for war. Joe feared Campbell had breathed so much fire on his team that tonight was their Super Bowl.
And the Lions defense flat out curb-stomped the Bucs offense. The Bucs offense simply got beat up. Way too physical.
What the Bucs backup receivers did against San Francisco is what the backup defensive backs did for the Lions tonight.
Bucs receivers simply got locked down. And Joe also believes the Lions got into Baker Mayfield’s head.
How many first-half passes did Mayfield get batted down? Three? Four? Then notice how high Mayfield was with his throws for most of the second half? Joe is convinced Mayfield had adjusted for all the batted down passes but that in turn made his passes sail and fly high.
Mayfield missed several connections with balls that were out of reach of open receivers. Joe doesn’t believe that was a coincidence. At all.
The injuries finally caught up with the Bucs. Joe guesses Mike Evans is unlikely to play Sunday at New Orleans.
The chickens came home to roost tonight. Injuries finally caught up with the Bucs. And they simply ran into a buzzsaw in Detroit.

Foot team gets the personality of the coach, simple as that…
October 20th, 2025 at 10:23 pm
Joe, Thanks for the open chat during the games.
Too much fun
Go Bucs
Fire Todd
October 20th, 2025 at 10:25 pm
Baker is allowed an off night after what he’s been doing. But we can’t keep starting games so slow on defense and having to play catch up every week.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:25 pm
Don’t like to be negative, but Baker was off tonight pretty bad
October 20th, 2025 at 10:25 pm
3 things…….
1) Mossed tackles GALORE allowing ridiculous YAC by Bucs D
2) Baker miss more open guys tonight than I have seen in at least a year from him. He was just off.
3) Absolutely PATHETIC officiating. Replay booth ignored an NFL RULE regarding simultaneous catch, and then the officials literally made up their own rules when it came to Dan Campbell challenging Cade Otten’s catch that was ruled a first down. They decided it was a catch, then they decided to make up their own roll and re-look at the spot, which is illegal to do after it was already called. Dan Campbell did not challenge a spot so that cannot be looked at.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:25 pm
Yup it was a curb stompin oh well, reminds me of Dallas game last year which was also a hard fought loss. We lose and we are hurt bad now. I love our guys, they played hard and crzy. Too much pressure everywhere.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:25 pm
Games like this are going to happen.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:26 pm
MVP! MVP!
October 20th, 2025 at 10:26 pm
Under Todd Bowles it’s just business as usual. Same garbage, different year. There is always one common denominator. Big game, bright lights, national audience and unprepared. Seen it all before.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:26 pm
Todd is just not a SB caliber coach.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:26 pm
BUT WE’LL ALWAYS BE #1 IN THE WEEK 6 POWER POLL!
October 20th, 2025 at 10:26 pm
This game honestly should have been a lot worse. I feared it would be based on the defense on the first two drives. But the defense held on and made this game within reach had Baker been on target and the receivers could get separation.
I think the analysis on their defense is spot on, but I think our defense deserves some love.too. Aside from a couple Jahmyr Gibbs runs, the defense kept us in it.
.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:26 pm
He was rattled all night.
If you can’t step up into the pocket as a qb you’re going to have problems. You can’t throw off your back foot the entire game.
They’ll bounce back next week. Let’s hope we get Mike back this season.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:26 pm
Lions are so much more physical than the Bucs
October 20th, 2025 at 10:27 pm
1 more thing…..
Grizzard’d route concepts against a backup secondary on life support was HORRIBLE. he needs to take a look in the mirror.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:27 pm
WTF was THAT! Talk about getting outcoached.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:27 pm
Good bye cruel world!😒
October 20th, 2025 at 10:27 pm
The Bye week cannot happen soon enough
October 20th, 2025 at 10:27 pm
Baker played like crap
October 20th, 2025 at 10:28 pm
i think baker was injured . he didnt even scramble once
October 20th, 2025 at 10:28 pm
Not Gus–agreed on both of your posts.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:28 pm
Baker played horrible tonight.
His worst game as a Buc by far.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:28 pm
The Bucs lost for one reason, Baker was terrible tonight.
Don’t let it turn into a multiple game set back like he’s done the previous two years when he gets full of himself then goes into a spiral. Everyone is allowed to have a terrible, awful game, so get it out of your system and show up next week and get the W and all will be fine.
But people complaining about Bowles, f-off, this is on Baker.
Also, morons, stop chanting MVP in week 6 – how did you idiots not know how this would go when you low IQ dullards do stupid stuff like that.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:28 pm
Crazy how the Lions D came out with do much energy I think the bucs were shocked and under prepared
October 20th, 2025 at 10:28 pm
Bowles fools us every season he wins a terrible division then loses in the playoffs. Glazers please find us a real coach.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:28 pm
Rod back to his schtick of mocking mayfield. Dude lives for Mayfield’s off days. What a strange way to “root” for a team
October 20th, 2025 at 10:28 pm
Detroit has never one Jack crap in the post season. This is absolutely meaningless
October 20th, 2025 at 10:28 pm
We always come out lackluster in prime time and end up getting hurt because the opposition always comes out with more intensity that we do. We always leave prime time injured.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:29 pm
12 tackles 1 sack 9 points by offense 2 td in run game given up by 54 blame voss
October 20th, 2025 at 10:29 pm
Hey,
It’s just one game, we have to come out and beat the crap out of the saints to go into the bye week on a high note!
Maybe we get Bucky, Godwin and Goedeke back
October 20th, 2025 at 10:29 pm
This was bound to happen. Detroit coming off the Chief debacle…including some home cooking. We had to expect some “make up” home cooking tonight…and boy did HairLip Hussey deliver. Not to mention all the accolades for both the team and Baker. Underdog is where it’s at…
Riding the blade all season…flirting with disaster too often and here the Bucs are. Just one game…injuries are concerning, however. Evans may just be cooked ( this season at least ). It’s as if the Football Gods don’t want him to break Rice’s 1000 yard seasons record. Also hope Reddick didn’t tear/break something.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:29 pm
As far as accuracy goes that’s as bad a game as I’ve seen Baker. He needs to get that out of his head quick. Just overall bad QB play tonight. Don’t know why we didn’t try to establish some run game. Defense was solid. Division game in 6 days and after tonight we better get it together quick.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:29 pm
Heck should be cut
October 20th, 2025 at 10:29 pm
MVP
Maybe valuation premature
October 20th, 2025 at 10:29 pm
He reverted to normal Baker. Throwing those line drives all the time when a subtle arc would put it just over the DB’s hands into the receivers is something he just isn’t good at. I can think of someone that was very good at that, but I’ll let that go. The Baker we had for the first 6 games is one I can enjoy and be proud of. The one we got tonight is the one I talked about a lot the past couple of seasons. He needs to shake this crap off and get back to the guy he was the first 6 games and not go on another 4 or 5 game skid like the last two seasons. This over and under throwing open receivers irritates me to no end and makes this offense unwatchable when it happens.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:30 pm
Not sure why Jahmyr Gibbs wasn’t being spied on early in the game. This dude KILLED us.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:30 pm
Where’s our blind faith cheerleader when everyone needs a boost? C’mon 813Ladyboi!!!!!!! YAY! Give us a cheer!!!
October 20th, 2025 at 10:30 pm
Long season… they’ll hopefully bounce back next week, then a bye.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:30 pm
ROD we don’t blame Todd for just today’s loss we blame him for not knowing how to win in the playoffs.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:30 pm
Punched the ball out lol,,, that they did ,,, heck one guy threw about 6 or 7 right hooks on one play !!!
Detroit losing the way they did last week was a bad sign for us ,,, we will see them again in Jan!
October 20th, 2025 at 10:31 pm
Never had a chance with those refs. PERIOD
October 20th, 2025 at 10:31 pm
Joe, quit being PC. The Bucs were out coached again in a prime time game.
Ask some tough questions during the presser!
October 20th, 2025 at 10:31 pm
Yeah a game like this was bound to happen but it’s still such a tough pill to swallow. So many upsetting things on the field.
So many close calls but of course none went the Bucs way.
-Evans caught that ball. He was down with control.
-Dean gets ran over by Lions WR who runs right into him and we get illegal contact! Next play Gibbs long TD on 1st.
-Otton INT… come on. The DB didn’t leave with the ball!
Why so many deep balls. Run some curls and comebacks on these 3rd stringers. Baker was way off. Why he double clutched that throw to Egbuka in endzone I will never know. Emeka was open right away bad throw. Tez open in endzone zone Baker misses.
Dennis sucks. How we gonna let St.Brown and Gibbs go for 125 yards in 1st quarter!?
Bucs better destroy the Saints next week.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:31 pm
Still the worst officiated game I’ve seen all year…
October 20th, 2025 at 10:31 pm
Bucs needed this. The media will crucify them this week. Living on the edge too long. They will be better. But MUST beat New Orleans next week. Bye week will do wonders and hopefully Charlie Heck isn’t starting. Go Bucs!
October 20th, 2025 at 10:32 pm
Nobody…and I mean nobody is as happy as Hairdresser Hot Rod Mulch with this performance. The flamboyant fella gets to crap on Baker once again and troll everyone else.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:32 pm
They read their own headlines. MVP?
October 20th, 2025 at 10:32 pm
LightningVinny1,
Yeah I saw Rachaad literally take a hard shot to the ribs on one play by a defender trying to punch at the ball.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:32 pm
We looked very soft, again. Not sure how we fix it mid season, but JL needs to work the phones and give some of those Hall, Braswell and Arguyo picks for some LB. Edge help.
We need some reinforcements. We’re not half way through the season and injuries will come.
And, how about a fourth or fifth rounder for Mark Andrews, please.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:33 pm
Dennis is a liability. He is consistently out of position and slow to move laterally. Our defense actually played quite well, considering. If Reddick is out for long, we need a reasonable replacement. Gotta work the phones for an edge ASAP. Not gonna do much with Nelson’s slow ass and Braswell’s “potential.”
October 20th, 2025 at 10:33 pm
100% GUARANTEE
Everyone who had us winning 10 or 11 games this year had this game as a loss.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:33 pm
5-2 is a great start to the season. The sky ain’t falling!!
October 20th, 2025 at 10:34 pm
Rod munch loves to disappear for months straight then make his magical appearance the very picosecond Mayfield has a bad game. What a personality he has
October 20th, 2025 at 10:35 pm
I’m concerned that Mayfield was so off tonight. Not sure why.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:35 pm
Mike broke collarbone done for season per PR .
October 20th, 2025 at 10:35 pm
The calls went against the Bucs for sure but even if a few of the calls went the Bucs way, I think they still would have lost but might have covered the spread, like 17-13 or 21-16…… SVD is a liability, Todd has to ask Licht to make a trade, the dude got schooled time after time tonight. Now we see what the Bucs are like when Baker does not bring his A game. Glad Egbuka did not get dinged up but tough break for Evans.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:36 pm
I’m not a huge Todd fan BUT tonight his defense kept us in the game. Baker and the offense was the problem. Yes I hate that our defense gives it up to start the game but offense was Flat from the start to finish. CAN anyone explain how it seems every team can tackle better than the Bucs though?
October 20th, 2025 at 10:36 pm
I’m not concerned about the loss I’m concerned about the way Mayfield played.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:36 pm
Seen this movie before fans say don’t worry we still have a winning record. Just sit back and watch what Todd Bowles does to us down the road.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:36 pm
We gonna beat some Saints a$$ this Sunday……
These guys will be pissed…….
Bucs D just gotta tackle and minimize the YAC.
That’s their biggest issue right now…..
Feel like they playing physical and hard.
The secondary is much better this year but missed tackles and poor LB play are the flaws we are dealing with.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:36 pm
Leave Rod alone.
He wasn’t hugged enough as a child
His Beenies did not have any weenies.
Sad story
October 20th, 2025 at 10:37 pm
Hard to believe they can’t find someone better than Heck. Man he sucks!
October 20th, 2025 at 10:37 pm
Dewey Selmon, yeah I think the Bucs read the headlines and enjoyed the spotlight a little too much, this time it just happened a bit later than the last 2 years.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:37 pm
Evans broke collarbone so grab lockket
October 20th, 2025 at 10:37 pm
Joe you are dead on with the batted balls. That got in his head and he lost his accuracy. Good call. Unfortunately it’s a copy cat league. Count on opponents to go for the block.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:38 pm
Law of averages came back to bite the offense on the butt tonight. They looked worthless, and not like a team that’s coming off 2 straight seasons’ best types of peeformances. Time to regroup and get ready for New Orleans. I’m 100% not liking what I’m hearing about Evans, hoping it’s not the last we see of him but it just might be which effin’ sucks
October 20th, 2025 at 10:39 pm
Refs tonight should be fired. That was pure corruption. Even Lions fans agree.
Ah well. 5-2. That’s still pretty good. We’re still winning the division and that’s what truly matters. This was a loss we can afford.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:39 pm
Lions played with a different level of intensity and Baker had a terrible game. Bucs couldn’t break a tackle other than Tez.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:39 pm
Per Reports Evans broke collarbone and out for season
October 20th, 2025 at 10:40 pm
Its our coaches, we should have kept Coen. Bowles is riding the good roster that we have and thats it. If it was for Bowles we would be talking first round pick today but JL has done a great job. Fire Bowles!!!!! And please dont leave Bucboi here
October 20th, 2025 at 10:40 pm
Carolina would have played a better game. We’re too over rated . Can’t start fast . In first half of game we give too much cushion to receivers. Don’t press at line of scrimmage to slow down timing of wideouts.Lot of bad offensive calls in first half while they were ge10 to 16 yards often.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:40 pm
Sleepy Bowles team not showing up to a primetime game?
The Bully Dan Campbell firing up his team.
Guess who won
October 20th, 2025 at 10:40 pm
1. This game showed that a fierce pass rush makes even 2nd string CBs look all world. Baker had no time to throw and the Oline was getting bitch slapped all game.
2. Reddick, Braswell and Dennis are all busts. Bucs can’t rush 4. They always need to blitz. No upgrades to JTS.
3. Sorry but Evans and Godwin are past their prime and hardly on the field.
4. Bucs really need Bucky back and Emuka to get 100%.
5. Need to trade for more pass rush help
6. Why does Bucs defense always start slow and allow TDs to start the game and 2nd half?
October 20th, 2025 at 10:41 pm
5-2 with missing Bucky, Evans, Godwin, Mauch, Goedeke, Kancey. I’ll take it. Still a nut punch though. Officiating is a problem in the league, too many bad calls at key moments. Need to take this to Nawlins and kick the dog sh!te out of them. I want a relaxing victory this Sunday.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:41 pm
only took across the line holds to produce a 70 yard TD run. never fly with playoff refs…
October 20th, 2025 at 10:42 pm
Soft team. Watch the weekly injury report. Half the 53 man roster skips practices EVERY week. Saving themselves to keep making money. We have about 10 true football players on this team. That’s it. The rest are soft. Worst tackling I’ve seen in a while. Offensive line is horrendous. Why we put some of them up on a pedestal is beyond me. If I was Baker I wouldn’t re-sign here unless I was promised 5 new starting OLineman. That’s right..5.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:43 pm
Season over. Godwin is done, Goedeke is done, Evan’s is done, Bucky is done, McMillan is done, Mauch is done.
The defense is garbage
Fire Todd.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:43 pm
Take care of business next week, go to the bye and hopefully get some help back the next week with Irving and Godwin.
And let’s hope we get Evan’s and Luck back before year end.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:43 pm
The Baker Boi(s) are really going to throw a fit tonight when I point out Baker has a crap game, which literally everyone in the country saw, and then I said he’s allowed to have a bad guy just don’t let it turn into a bad streak. That mild criticism after a terrible game has you insecure cupcakes throwing a fit? There’s a reason the Baker Boi(s) are widely mocked by all.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:44 pm
We got out coached. The injuries man… and Honestly, I think Evans will call it a day. Of course, he may still want to play. Who knows?
October 20th, 2025 at 10:44 pm
Lack of offense was the story
We’ll bounce back
GO BUCS
October 20th, 2025 at 10:44 pm
The Bucs can’t even sell out Ray Jay. Pathetic franchise that is enamored with mediocrity.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:45 pm
Maybe Mike doesn’t break his collarbone if the defender isn’t hanging all over his back
October 20th, 2025 at 10:45 pm
The Lions played hard for 60 minutes. They wanted it a lot more. This game was the perfect storm. Too many hard fought close games leading up to this one, too many injuries in those earlier games that we had to overcome and last but not least a little rat poison sprinkled in combined with playing the wrong opponent at the wrong time. We’ll be fine going forward in my opinion especially if Mike is not too seriously injured.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:46 pm
Hutchinson . Heck is serviceable either way average ends. Luke can’t come back soon enough. Once Mike went down, they doubled ee
October 20th, 2025 at 10:46 pm
My two cents:
1) The noise in Detroit is insane. I was worried about it going in. Could barely hear the telecast at times. Offense just never looked comfortable.
2) Tez has had some real great flashes, but he’s still got a ways to go. Two times he ran into other receivers (ME and CO).
3) I think whoever mentioned it above about the Lions getting in Baker’s head with batting down passes and then he just overthrew so many–overcompensating? Maybe. He looked bad, tonight, and there was no angry scramble fight tonight.
4) ME–I hope it’s not serious. Sit out against the Saints, take the bye, then please come back.
5) If we can give flowers to our back ups’ back ups coming in clutch in past games, have to give it up to Detroit’s defensive back ups. They looked good.
6) I’m not despairing. Look at the difference between the Lions last week and this week. 5-2 is better than I thought we’d be, and there’s a good chance we go into the bye 6-2. Let’s get things figured out and Let’s GO!
October 20th, 2025 at 10:46 pm
For those who think Baker cares about an MVP prize. Remember that he won the Heisman and was the #1 overall pick. He’s only focused on winning games and ultimately a championship at this point. The lions had a lot to prove today and it was obvious. They’re a great team and we didn’t have enough to beat them tonight. The reality is we need to figure out what our healthy core team looks like and move forward with that squad. Let Mike Evans focus on getting healthy and come back when he’s 100%
October 20th, 2025 at 10:46 pm
Who in the hell is Andrew Lambert
and Sebrina Brunson? ( replay official, assistant, incompetent)
October 20th, 2025 at 10:48 pm
The Lions sprayed the Bucs locker room with Poison by Dior.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:48 pm
Whatevs, be careful your mom may ground you if she finds out your using your older bropther’s computer after bedtime again…..
October 20th, 2025 at 10:49 pm
Detroit is a joke. Bucs weren’t prepared plain and simple.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:50 pm
Good takes Oscar; the Lions wanted it more and the Bucs were not focused tonight, they let that #1 power ranking get to their head.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:51 pm
Our Bucs were out muscled, hustled and smarted at every turn tonight. Campbell put on a clinic and manipulated the zebras all night long. In that respect both teams played to their coach’s personality. And as much as I want to crap all over Todd, his D eventually buckled down and kept us in the game.
The real disappointment is Grizzard’s game plan. He couldn’t figure out a way to solve the pass rush and test their secondary.
And then there’s Baker. He didn’t use his legs when there were opportunities to do so. This was a night where every yard mattered and he didn’t remotely make them worry about containing him. He also missed wide open WRs all night long.
And with all of that, the sky isn’t falling…and it won’t be…unless they soil themselves next weekend at NO.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:51 pm
A few points
I am a baker Boie but Loss was completely on Baker and Grizz
I’ve followed Bake every year and that looked like Carolina Baker including the fear of batted passes. On Grizz – putting in some long plays is fine – making them main stay no . was not impressed by Grizz play calling. Give me the dink and dunks and sprinkle in the long plays
Perhaps lost in this defeat – we looked like we had a good defense against a top tier offense. If that becomes norm the team will be more than fine in the playoffs
Tez is a keeper. Yes a rookie doing rookie things but His college play has now proven to translate to the NFL. More reps with the first team. I am of the opinion that either Mike or Chris will not be with us next season and one of them will not return to form this year. Probably need to go WR this draft as well too.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:52 pm
“The Bucs can’t even sell out Ray Jay. Pathetic franchise that is enamored with mediocrity”
Oh really check out the crappy Lions histor or maybe the hapless Falcons. Neither has won a super bowl
October 20th, 2025 at 10:52 pm
Baker is overrated. For the year we have allowed more points then we scored. Arizona is 2-5 and have the same pont differential(-1) as we do. Washington is 3-4 and have a +10 on the year. Offense is middle of the pack. Reflective of our 30 year old QB. This sucks compared to the Brady era. We will win 10-11 games and get rocked at home in the wild card by a better team. See what happens when we play Penix, Tyrod Taylor and Mac Jones, a struggling CJ Stroud vs the better teams and QBs? We will beat up on the Saints and be 6-2 and you all will go back to SB and MVP talk.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:54 pm
Todd is really an expert on not preparing his teams.
October 20th, 2025 at 10:54 pm
Detroit has never won anything so Bucs fans stop with your f’ing COMPLAINING!!!
October 20th, 2025 at 10:58 pm
Rod Dunce has a grudge towards Baker Mayfield and it shows.
Hilarious how you were getting on my case for rooting against Liam Coen, dude, you’re rooting against your own quarterback loser.
October 20th, 2025 at 11:00 pm
IrishTony Says:
October 20th, 2025 at 10:54 pm

——–
True, Detroit is a loser franchise who will never win anything, and the dirty welfare people there have to live in Detroit.
It could be a lot worse.
October 20th, 2025 at 11:11 pm
games like this is what keeps bucs fans really believing
October 20th, 2025 at 11:18 pm
Everyone can have a bad game. Baker was terrible tonight. Even Tristan Wirfs got manhandled a couple times by Hutchenson. Doesn’t mean though that he’s not all world though. It just wasn’t his best game. This game was like a bad round in a heavyweight fight. Doesn’t mean we can’t still win the fight which is to win the Super Bowl. In 2020 the Bucs were beaten 38-3 by the Saints in November of that season and we know how that year ended.
October 20th, 2025 at 11:19 pm
Everyone needs to just relax a little and just ignore the stupid trolls.
October 20th, 2025 at 11:33 pm
Oscar Says; who was the QB that year. You know that era it was SB or bust. Now we want parades for 5-2. Baker is what he is. We have given up more points then we have scored on the year. Pathetic. Offense is middle of the pack. And frankly, we are 3 plays away from being 2-5..Even this year Baker is not a top 10 QB and this is not a SB/NFC title game contender.
October 21st, 2025 at 12:19 am
Listen everyone, please calm down and be patient. It was never realistic to think the Buccaneers could go up to Detroit and win the game given their injuries.
The Bucs will beat New Orleans and go into the bye week at 6-2 !! Road games are very hard to win !!
It was just a bad night overall for the offense and the defense. I’m sure they would like to have this game back !!
The Buccaneers are 5-2 and are hoping for a win in New Orleans !!
Tez flashed well tonight!!
I still think teams are stealing our offensive plays because Grizz does not cover his mouth when calling the plays. Someone needs to let him know
Go Bucs !! Beat the Saints !!
October 21st, 2025 at 12:20 am
The point was that there’s no reason to panic at this point in the season and that in 2020 they were destroyed by the Saints 38-3 and recovered from that to go on to win the Super Bowl. Yes Brady was the QB but he was beaten on that day but the team as a whole was able to put that behind them and push forward. Brady didn’t do it by himself. He was bailed out more than once that season by his defense. You obviously are one of those people that believe the BS that Brady was able to do it all by himself. I think this team could have the pieces to round into the type of team that can win it all. I don’t think anybody wants parades for a 5-2 record. Actually the record could be 1-6 if it wasn’t for the quarterback. The reason those games were so close was because of all the injury challenges. The hope is that when the team is healthier they can be much better.

We got beat by perhaps the best team in the NFC. It is what it is, 5-2 is better than anyone would have predicted at their stage. It’s time to beat the aints and then get healthy
October 21st, 2025 at 1:06 am
VOMITOUS!!!!!!! Go Bucs! 6-1! Yay!!! Bowles coach of the year for yet another MNF embarrassment! Bucs will want to beat the aints! Yay!!!
That simply shouldn’t happen if you fancy yourself a champion level team.
We have three coordinators and exactly zero head coaches.
October 21st, 2025 at 1:07 am
How funny he is. Too bad Vegas doesn’t bet on Munch coming out at times like this. I hate to break it to him and you few turn coat but Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes have all had one game this year that was just about exactly like Bakers game tonight and they haven’t been carrying their team like Baker has been forced to do. It wears you out, mentally and physically. So chill out we are fine thanks to Baker.
October 21st, 2025 at 1:18 am
Why are you even comparing those 3 MVP winning, Canton Bound studs ( all you get then Baker by anywhere from 6 months to almost 2 years) to a journeyman band aid? Every game is like pulling teeth win or lose. It’s like when ppl compare Baker to Brett Farve or Drew Brees, he not even the Temu version. I’m sorry but 5-2 isn’t 💩. Literally 11 teams have 2 losses. Then it’s some more like KC right up under at 4-3. But literally 1/3 of the leauge have 2 losses..Haven’t checked but I’m pretty sure we are the only one with a negative +/- point differential. We were getting stomped out by Philly too and managed to keep it close. Sometimes when you pay better early in the game you don’t need late game heroics. Now lets stomp the Saints and get back on the SB/MVP train lol
October 21st, 2025 at 1:19 am
SF has far worse injuries then us and are 5-2. Like Detroit but Detroit has like a +70 point differential on the season.
October 21st, 2025 at 1:51 am
Bucs have 3 coordinators. No head coach. This loss was up there- might be the worst of Todd’s losing head coach career. Due to this fact, he’s just a defensive coordinator. He can’t oversee all three phases. Someone is always petting the dog inappropriately. Todd can’t keep the ship from hitting the iceberg even with plenty of opportunity to change course or avoid the collision.
Vomitous.

I love how these stupid Baker Boi(s) don’t even read what I write, and just immediately go into meltdown mode.
Also, these morons don’t think I ever post here outside of Baker playing poorly? Really? Just shows how selective reading works when you got an IQ under 30.
Baker has mostly played great this year, tonight he sucked and didn’t give the Bucs a chance. He had full on meltdown. That’s OK, the Bucs aren’t 5-2 without him performing in those 5 victories. Just don’t let it turn into a slide. So long as the Bucs go out vs the Saints and get the win, the Bucs are 6-2 going into the break, and if you’re not happy with that, you’re insane.
But Baker can’t go out and lay another egg like he did tonight vs the Saints. Just don’t let that happen.
October 21st, 2025 at 2:07 am
He was garbage when it counted against Philly. First half of that game was 24-6. First half of this game was 14-3..Both games were over at the half. Your not playing Spencer Rattier or Tyrod Taylor every week. I think Baker has been OK this year. Showed some grit and heart and always but we been saying that for 3 years. Will we ever see a team drop 40 and 50 points on ppl in blowouts and win 13-15 games? Get to Championship games and Superbowls? I don’t think so with Baker. He not that type guy. Even a guy like Jared Goff has done those things multiple times. Bakers has never done any of those ONCE. He’s not a young kid anymore. He’s 30. Now if winning the South is out SB then just say that. 9-10 wins will win the division.
October 21st, 2025 at 2:14 am
You are a mental case munch. No one but you is having a fit like a little child. I wonder if the line breaking down had anything to do with the quarterback struggling and as Troy Aikman said the defense was playing man and there was no where for Baker to throw the ball? Nah, it couldnt be, it was all on Baker like munch has been dying to say. Mental job 100%.
October 21st, 2025 at 2:19 am
Cobb you are one of those people that knows nothing about a ream sport. And just so you know 30 is a quarterbacks prime. What a genius
October 21st, 2025 at 2:21 am
Cobb you must be slow. Marino was one of the greatest to ever play the game and he won very little. TEAM Cobb, it takes a team
October 21st, 2025 at 2:28 am
Cobb, I guess with your logic Lamar and Josh Allen will never win championships either since they’ve all had a game like Baker just had?
October 21st, 2025 at 2:51 am
I guess you two don’t remember how Baker has been carrying the team all season. I guess in your minds we have a healthy team? We aren’t playing with 2nd, 3rd and 4th stringers are we?. You don’t remember how we ran out of linemen to put out there either. It’s been a cake walk hasn’t it? Why are you 2 even here? So you can turn on your team or just Baker?
October 21st, 2025 at 2:52 am
Marino is a HOF, Lamar and Allen will be. Baker will not be. You do know Allen is a year younger and Lamar is almost 2 years younger despite all of them coming out in 2018. I was pointing out those guys you get them Baker and have had exponentially more successful. Funny how SB wins and DEEP playoff wins were the measuring stick now it’s going 5-2, beating multiple backup QBs..Marino threw for 5000 yards his second year and went to the SB lol.
October 21st, 2025 at 2:57 am
SF is more beat in up then we are .Let the excuses poor in. Bucs have enough talent on offense. Offense should not be in the low teens . I think Bakers ” MVP” season just like him in general grossly overrated. I thought he was bad most of 2023, overrated in last year and VERY overrated this year. You can’t go far with him
October 21st, 2025 at 3:01 am
As usual you miss the whole point. We will see who is right and who is a turn coat.
October 21st, 2025 at 3:02 am
It was a bad night for EVERYBODY
October 21st, 2025 at 3:13 am
Let me let you in on a little secret cobb. A quarterback is only as good as his line, PERIOD. We are using the practice squad linemen. That should be a clue.
October 21st, 2025 at 3:15 am
First half vs Philly: 12/21 65 yards. 0 TD down 24-6. Game over. Tonight: Less then 50 yards before half. 0 TD,1 int., less then 70 yards. Down 14-3. Game over. 11 teams have 3 losses right now. Be honest, how would you feel playing KC(4-3) or Dallas (3-3-1) right now? Alex Smith was 32 when KC TRADED up to get Mahomes. Flacco was 33 when Baltimore traded up to get Lamar. I don’t know who the QB was but Buffalo also traded up to get Allen. Philly selected Hurts in the second round with a 27 year old Carson Wentz on the roster. Either you have a guy that can hoist the Lombardi or you don’t. At what point do you call a spade a spade?
October 21st, 2025 at 3:25 am
I hate to tell you this but Baker is hands down better the Hurts. You call it a spade once a good enough team is assembled and they are relatively healthy. Baker has never had that. H*** he has never been in the same system longer than 1 year. You think that would effect any quarterbacks play. It has a huge negative effect but that’s too much for you few to comprehend.
October 21st, 2025 at 3:28 am
Another secret is when Baker has just a little protection he is a surgeon with the ball. Protection is the key word just like it is for all quarterbacks
October 21st, 2025 at 3:30 am
Jimmy Garrapolo led his team to a SB and a title game. Jared Goff as well. In addition to 12,13 and 15 win regular seasons and a top 5 MVP finish. Brock Purdy led a team to a title game and a SB appearance..Hurts has 2 SB,1 win and a top 2 MVP finish. Can Baker do ANY of those things ONCE?Every player I mentioned did multiple of those things multiple times. Can he just do ONE of them ONE time?? If he falls forward you want to crown him but if he fails he has built in excuses. That’s not being objective. Still has White,EE, Otton and a average line even when injured.
October 21st, 2025 at 3:35 am
Hurts ? 4 year starter, 4 playoffs. 2 SB,1 win. Finished second in MVP voting. Late 2nd round pick. Baker will NEVER do those things. Not one and he was the former #1 overall pick. But here comes the excuses. Now he magically has a terrible line. Not that he is 5-11 and small, gold on to the ball too long and has a history of being a pick machine. He gets balls batted because he is small. Your take is lazy and repetitive. ” Give him time to throw”. Hell carve up the saints probably with this same ” terrible” team lol.
October 21st, 2025 at 3:37 am
There is a difference in an excuse and a reason, just another little hint.
October 21st, 2025 at 3:38 am
Why do you think head coaches try and hold on to their offensive coordinator as long as they
October 21st, 2025 at 3:39 am
We shall see ECC…
October 21st, 2025 at 3:51 am
So do you think Baker is a bridge QB or franchise shaper? Pick a side? I’m saying mediocre bridge. Brady came here at 43. Look at his 3 years vs Baker 3 years. It’s night and day..See what? This year 3. 24-17 record. 1-2 playoffs. 25-19 overall. 16-15:outside the NFC South. And yes, it’s a difference between a 24&30 year old. Every GM in the leauge would take Jordan Love over Baker. Do you think he is going to iutplay Stafford in a few weeks? For 3 years almost every game it feels like we are losing and playing catch up. It’s a reason for that. Baker is a journeyman. Of course he’s going to have different HC/often. Doesn’t seem to be hurting DArnold having a bunch of different OC. He’s been on as many teams as Baker. More even.
October 21st, 2025 at 4:06 am
As I said Bakers career is too much for people like you to comprehend. Baker has made a career out of proving people like you wrong. He will continue to prove you wrong. When the team is put together he will be in a superbowl. Mark it down.
October 21st, 2025 at 4:18 am
Ok. Keep wishing on a star. Are you like 8 years old? And what has he proven????
October 21st, 2025 at 4:27 am
Apparently hes done nothing. I’m old enough to look a little deeper into a situation and see it for what it is unlike you who can only see the superficial surface. 🤔

Go to bed you have had to much to drink.

Yes, we lost. The Lions played a great game. Baker and Griz had their worst game so far. The Detroit fans were a factor. The refs were a factor. Remember this is the 1st season for Griz, he is still learning. With things just not going our way our guys never quit. The Lions are a good team that played well and beat us on a one of our bad days. We are still a good and dangerous team. Go bucs
October 21st, 2025 at 10:31 am
It’s ok, we will see the lions and eagles again, but it will be a different outcome! Go BUCS!!!!
October 21st, 2025 at 11:53 am
Griz called a terrible game. Baker’s first read was always taken away. Hutch was breathing down his neck, even though he had no sacks, he rattled Baker. Thanks, Pornstache. But, Baker’s been there before and played at least ok. Last night he was bad, no sugar coating. Maybe Maker’s worst game as a Buc.
A real head coach would work directly with his rookie offensive coordinator and his franchise quarterback to ensure maximum probability of corrective action being executed against the Saints.
We don’t have one of those.
Welcome to the 2025 Bowles Swoon.
