There are “some” “fans” who will refrain from voting because the option, “Confident of Failure” is not available to them.
He has not earned my confidence yet, but the Glazers felt he was worth an extension. Because they are the ones with the checkbook, I will defer such decisions to them.

I am confident…he will keep it close.

I voted confident because I feel that with some of our draft picks, and Reddick, we should be improved on D. It will be status-quo on O unless EE truly blows up.
We should be competitive in almost every game, and that’s why I vote confident.

Not to split hairs but the key part of the poll question isn’t clear.
If you’re asking me if I’m confident that he can win 9-10 games I would say I’m very confident. If you’re asking me if I’m confident that he can make the necessary moves/changes/decisions to level up and get us a 12-14 wins with an NFC championship game appearance I don’t think I’m there yet.
Can win division and get us into the playoffs – yes, absolutely!
Can win 12 plus with a 1 or 2 seed and/or into an NFC champ game – not there yet.

Doesn’t matter if the team is injured, healthy, new players, hyped up free agents, or hyped up draft picks, this pass defense SUCKS!!!!
And guess what, it’s a passing league
7 wins or less coming
September 2nd, 2025 at 10:41 am
Very little confidence, just like last year and the year before. I am one losing streak away from zero confidence.
September 2nd, 2025 at 10:45 am
I voted little confidence instead of no confidence, because I hope Bowles has really changed how he calls defensive plays and formations? I kind of doubt it, but he did hire a clock management advisor and let Foote call plays, so let’s see how it carries over to the regular season….
September 2nd, 2025 at 11:20 am
Let’s just hope there is a pass rush cause that will help the pass defense
September 2nd, 2025 at 11:25 am
Hey Todd!!!
Cooper Kupp, is still running wide open through your soft zones
September 2nd, 2025 at 11:32 am
Bowles is a good coach. Undeniable
September 2nd, 2025 at 11:45 am
Put this poll out again when the defense gets carved up Sunday and they Bucs take a big L.
September 2nd, 2025 at 11:47 am
Confident! Go Bucs all the way!
September 2nd, 2025 at 11:50 am
I voted no confidence, because l have no confidence in his schemes. And l have no confidence in the defensive roster. I think we kept the wrong players on defense. I’m a lifelong Buc fan, but I’m not sold on this Buc team. Too many injuries on offense, and again, l think they kept the wrong players on offense also.

Todd has been in charge of the defense since 2019 his pass defense averages
24th in yards allowed
19th in completion percentage allowed
21st in passing TD’s allowed
28th in Attempts Against
6 years of stats, different combinations of players, the pass defense is KILLING this team and until he can put together a competent pass defense this team will not do anything of meaning. Offensive coordinators know this team’s weakness and know how to attack this scheme.
Todd either can’t adapt or won’t, either option shows how bad he is at his job
7 wins if they are lucky with his leadership

I’m very confident and have been for a long time. The Glazer family and Jason Licht are also very confident with Todd Bowles, and that’s all that matters.
September 2nd, 2025 at 12:05 pm
Like someone else says, everyone is confident this time of year. Lets see what happens once the games start. LMAO
September 2nd, 2025 at 2:52 pm
So over 80% of jbf readers that voted are confident to totally confident that coach Bowles is a good coach and that the Bucs are in good position to have a very good year…..
Yet 53% of the 17 comments on this thread at the moment were written by commentors who voted little or NO confidence…..
Sounds about right for these parts….
Negative Nancys and Debby Downers LOVE to make sure their opinions are known. Usually under the guise of “keeping it real”…..

Critics can tend to be more…vocal
That recognition has molded the negative tone and atmosphere around news and coverage. -doesn’t have to be that way

AQUALUNG…………Where are you? You’re usually the first to comment on Bowles articles. Goooooo Bucs!!! Goooo Bowles!!!
September 2nd, 2025 at 6:26 pm
I have more confidence in Todd now than I did a couple of years ago. I am now in the “very confident” camp.
Go Bucs!!

“When keeping it real goes wrong” 🤣🤣
