Small Changes To Bucs-Eagles Injury Report

September 25th, 2025

Out today.

Full-go for Lavonte David and Tristan Wirfs at practice today, but one big-name Buccaneer sat out after practicing yesterday.

Chris Godwin did not practice Thursday after being full-go on Wednesday. Joe will hopes it was a scheduled rest day.

Still “limited” in practice were Baker Mayfield (right biceps) and Charlie Heck (knee). Mike Evans (hamstring) is out for Sunday against the Eagles, and Logan Hall (groin) and Christian Izien (quad) are trending that way, too. Neither Hall nor Izien have practiced this week.

Eagles stud linebacker Zack Baun was limited in practice today after sitting out yesterday with a bad knee. Pro Bowl right tackle Lane Johnson was upgraded to full-go after being limited on Wednesday.

  1. Eric Says:

Probably giving him the day off. Him and 78 should be ready to roll for Sunday

  2. Joe Sea Says:

We should be able to run the ball with their LB situation

  3. NCbucfan Says:

I’m most worried about Hall! Need as many bodies possible on that D line, with the way the heat will be.

  4. Bill in Seminole Says:

Why not have this game at 4:25 instead of 1 PM? I know the schedule is set way ahead of time but September games at 1 PM seems like a non-starter for players and fans alike.

  5. Mort Says:

Scott Smith from Bucs official website stated it was a scheduled rest day for CG. Nothing to worry about with that.

  6. Zwak Says:

Bill, 1:00pm games give us the edge, teams from the north don’t practice and play in this heat like the Bucs do. By the third and fourth quarter they are not going 100%, they are dehydrated and exhausted.

  7. cmurda Says:

I can’t believe we have this many injuries. I’ve always thought it’s silly to blame the training staff when a man gets injured. I mean, this is crazy though.

  8. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Zwak

Did you see our defense literally wilt in the 4th quarter? So much do that nearly Every coach has referenced it in their pressers this week?

A 4 or 4:25 start ( like it used to be) would put the Bucs entire sideline in the shade, while the other team stands in the blazing sun.

That’s why I had my season tix on the West side, specifically.

  9. NCbucfan Says:

David and Ronde are our all time Bucs Ironmen. Rarely if ever were they ever injured. Dudes were/are machines! Two of my fav Bucs ever!

  10. Jmarkbuc Says:

Kinda concerned about Lavonte and his bum knee. Hasn’t been looking particularly fast this year anyway.

More concerned about SirVocea being responsible for covering Barkley out of the backfield…

  11. Bucsalltheway Says:

He playing real fans know what’s up

  12. Jeffrey Becker Says:

NC i know barber never missed a game

  13. Jeffrey Becker Says:

maybe it was brooks. i know one was like flawless and one was near flawless injury wize

  14. NCbucfan Says:

You’re right Jeff, Brooks is part of that category as well! How blessed were we, to go from Brooks to David. 2 of the best LB’s!

  15. NCbucfan Says:

Dominick and Schiano did something right drafting David! I guess they were good for one thing!

  16. Stanglassman Says:

I was just a scheduled rest rest day.

  17. cmurda Says:

Its really not fair to compare Barber. Ronde was the Cal Ripken of the NFL

  18. Greg Says:

    Second to that @ cmurda!

  19. Jmarkbuc Says:

Wow. Arizona is not a good football team.

That clock management at the half was terrible too.

  20. Les Says:

WE ARE STILL ADFUNG INJURIES .KIEF HAS A BROKEN LEG.A TOUGH BLOCKER IN ARE RUN GAME . WHEN WILL IT STOP .WAY TO MANY INJURIES THIS YEAR.

  21. Kayla Says:

I agree. These early season 1PM starts are puzzling. Peak heat this time of year is 3PM. So, it gets hotter as the game goes along. With the 4:15-4:25PM starts it’s post-peak and gets cooler as the game goes along…

  22. firethecannons Says:

Nobody on the team saying anything about Godwin, just one huge secret, I would not be surprised if his season is delayed yet even longer. Hows he look? Did Bowles say he was game ready? Is he playing like he did in the old days? No nothing said. Don’t count on him.

  23. ballwasher61 Says:

If the team can keep secrets until kickoff that’s a good thing.

  24. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Firethecannons

I see it exactly the opposite.

Why would you let your opponent know anything?

  25. Aqualung Says:

Todd’s gout should be painful enough to put him out for Sunday. It sure hurts him enough that he won’t keep the foot on the gas

  26. firethecannons Says:

JMarkBuc–even the players aren’t saying anything, can he even run? I mean none of them are saying he looks good, nothing encouraging, it was a major injury that is taking longer than expected. Believe it when I see it, Wirfs is vocal and you hear stuff about him–I know all about him and how he feels. Godwin–nothing said, nothing talked about, just delays over and over. Reminds me of of Jordan Travis nightmare. Sorry–I’m a bit pessimistic on Godwin but optimistic on Wirfs and J-Mac.

  27. garro Says:

Hall is a concern to me. He has not been what we fans hoped he would but he is a tough, strong dude and is needed on out defense.

    Go Bucs!

  28. heyjude Says:

Not worried yet about the DNPs. I think we know Mike will not practice or play on Sunday. Todd knows what he is doing. And always with a poker face. Hard to read. Go Bucs!

    Jmarkbuc – Agreed.
