Bucs-Eagles Injury Report Is Long

September 24th, 2025

Receiver Emeka Egbuka.

The first official Bucs-Eagles Week 4 injury report is out and, as always, there’s always a surprise or two.

Chris Godwin and Tristan Wirfs practiced today, as they did last week. However, Godwin was full-go today and Wirfs was limited.

Out is Logan Hall with a groin. That’s an injury suffered against the Jets on Sunday. Same for Christian Izien, who is out with a bad quad. Lavonte David showed up “limited” with a knee along with right tackle Charlie Heck. Baker Mayfield officially was limited with a biceps issue on his throwing arm.

The Eagles have a long list of high-profile injuries, too. (List below.) Eagles linebacker Nolan Smith is on injured reserve and will not play Sunday.

Joe was very happy to see Emeka Egbuka off the report. He had groin and hip issues last week prior to Sunday’s game.

  1. Baker Bowl Says:

At this point, can’t be mad at any result on Sunday, hope someone knows what’s going on and the guys get healthy.

I realize that it could be nothing and they could all play Sunday but man, so brutal.

  2. Buxfanintx Says:

Didn’t know Adoree Jackson was still in the league. Thought he went out with Greedy Williams

  3. #99 the big fella Says:

Waiting for the two turds to say it is Bowles fault

  4. Bucsfan339 Says:

Look at the bright side, my man cg14 is full practicing that’s a really good sign.

  5. Oxycondomns Says:

godwin being full seems like a good sign but i dont much about thses reports

  6. JohnQCitizen Says:

Imagine if we were without injuries. Wow.
Most can’t be avoided or predicted, it’s just part of the business. Let’s hope they all quickly heal.

  7. ballwasher61 Says:

Quads are a bi**c and really hurt but seem to heal fairly quickly as opposed to a hamstring, I’ve had em but that is purely subjective to the person/player. Depends on the severity too, as always

  8. Daryl Green Says:

What happened to Jordan ? please Joe
Jordan is not on the injury report becuase he is not on the roster. He’s on the practice squad and was called up for Weeks 1 and 2. Not on the roster? Then you’re not on the injury report. Simple as that. Bucs have been hard on reporters this week telling them they can’t report what they see in the small practice window, so there’s little info. But don’t count on him playing Sunday. –Joe

  9. jimmy Says:

jihaad campbell DNP irony. godwin back by week 4 is great, sort of unexpected from the silence during camp on his progress but the timing couldnt be better. seemingly all of a sudden here is he probably playing on sunday nice!

  10. NCbucfan Says:

Logan hall has a groin. We could def use him in that rotation! Damn

  11. Tucker Says:

I wonder if the team not being in game shape at the start of the season leads to more injuries.

  12. infomeplease Says:

Next man up! Across the league QBs ,Edge, WRs, LBs, CBs are dealing with injuries! Next man up! Quality depth players can make a difference! So far so good for the Bucs! Next man up!

  13. Cybersecurity_intern Says:

From that list only Hall and Izien is a question mark. Everybody else will be ready. Well exceptEvan ofcourse

  14. Scotty Mack Says:

The Wednesday injury report is as reliable an indicator as when Bowles proclaims an injury is just a “tweak”.

  15. Megoat13 Says:

Tucker I’m on the fence with that, honestly I think you could make that argument but I wonder if information is far more readily available and we notice more players injuries than say 30 years ago

  16. Defense Rules Says:

Was wondering earlier why Logan Hall only got 22 snaps on Sunday; now I know (groin injury). Elijah Roberts got a lot of work Sunday, which is great. Just in the past week Bucs have called up rookie DT Elijah Simmons (6’1″ & 334 lbs) & also DT CJ Brewer (6’2″ & 290 lbs) who got some good experience with us last season (and provided 2 sacks).

So we’ll likely be missing Hall on Sunday, as well as Kancey, but Brewer & Simmons provide some good beef for run defense.

  17. Jeffrey Becker Says:

eagles page said jackson’s backup hurt too so Keelee Ringo prolly starting

  18. Woodman Says:

Alot of doubters on here on CG. Some of them even saying and guaranteed he would not be back before week 8. You know who you are.

  19. Cleanhouse Says:

I say rest everyone and take the L. Lose the battle win the war.
Put in Bridgewater with the backup receivers and practice squad linemen

  20. Outrigger Says:

Wonder who will play RG this week. I’m guessing Klein because the guy that played RG last week was hot garbage. Hope Jordan’s knee injury is not season ending. He played well in weeks 1 and 2

  21. Davyboy Says:

Ooo attack Lane Johnsons replacement relentlessly and get to Hurts. Dial up something special for him.

  22. Jeffrey Becker Says:

i wonder how hurt baker is. he definitely went arm limp-ish when he got hit in throwing motion on the play where EE beautifully tapped fumble ahead and then recovered hoop style

  23. Davyboy Says:

In the old days 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s the teams rarely ever showed their hand as far as who was injured. That threw the opposing team a curve ball as to how and who to prepare for. Now with the new awareness of how brutal football can be and its long term effects, the NFL makes each team report their injured each week. That would have to affect how many we hear about. In the “old” days they kept it from everybody. “Just say 8” was the motto.

  24. David Says:

Someone needs to spit on the ground in the general direction of Jalen Carter and then quickly get in his face and take one for the team

  25. Saskbucs Says:

Adore Jackson has been getting lit up. After week 1 all the talking heads were saying CB2 on Eagles could be a problem. Real shame Mike went down.

  26. Kenton Smith Says:

David. That’s funny! I bet Shep would do it!

  27. Daryl Green Says:

    Thanks Joe for info 🤙🏾👊🏾

  28. DBS Says:

So once again the front office and Coach know more than all the doctors posting on this site. He’s finished as as Buc. Mark it down and on and on. Yet he’s in full practice.

  29. 1sparkybuc Says:

I’ve seen no mention of Dan Feeney possibly at G. Just curious.

  30. garro Says:

    Godwin and Wirfs Play?

LVD looked like he was in some pretty bad pain Sunday. Hope he can go.

Not really worried too much about Baker. They would have to hide his helmet.

    Go Bucs!

  31. Guzzie55 Says:

We have Sua Opeta on the PS, he slides in RG and knows our offense

  32. RBsBucs Says:

I anticipate the starting offensive line this Sunday from left to right will be Wirfs, Bredeson, Barton, Klein, Heck. Top 3 WRs to be Edbuka, Shepherd & Godwin.

  33. heyjude Says:

Not worried yet. We have been here before and the Bucs prevailed.

  34. StickinUp4Centers Says:

The injury reports are there for Vegas so the betting lines can be adjusted accordingly.

No, this game is too important in terms of playoff seeding not to give it our best shot.

Man, if THAT ain’t the truth! Good one, garro. Yeow, EE2 and CG14 playing Sunday?? Bet that’s causing indigestion in certain Philly coaching offices. Goooo Gutsy Bucs!!!!!!

  37. Coconut Doughnut Says:

I know the Eagles should have stayed home instead of coming Friday. We will take any advantage we can get. 1 o’clock game? They are going to be gassed..
