Baker Mayfield Begins Eagles Week On The Injury Report

September 24th, 2025

Hurt.

It seems Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield was limited in practice to start Eagles Week because he has a sore biceps on his throwing arm.

Joe hopes you keep your dinner down.

Mayfield is one of eight Bucs listed on the injury report. Linebacker Lavonte David is also on the injury report with a bum knee. He was also limited as was right tackle Charlie Heck who also has a knee injury.

Sweet. So the No. 4 tackle is hurt.

Left tackle Tristan Wirfs was also limited as he tries to get himself ready for a return on Sunday against the Eagles.

Baker will play. You won’t be able to keep him out.

During the Jets game local telecast they showed BM6 shaking his throwing hand after several plays as if it was numb or hurt in some way. BM6 is a tough throwback player. BM6 will play…Hurt or not. Get it done!

Baker is a dawg. But that’s a double edged sword. I’d rather we call this a bye week instead of forcing him to play through an injury and perhaps making it worse. It’s basically where the wheels fell off in Cleveland. Not the same injury but still his throwing arm. Plus our offensive line is in shambles. So he’s gonna take hits.

Any chance this game can get flexed to 4??

Yeah, if Tristan and Chris are going to play, Baker WILL play

Buc91, that’s not where the wheels fell off in Cleveland. And lo and behold you are wrong again. The Cleveland injury was not to his throwing shoulder. Maybe you say the Oline is in shambles but I don’t think anyone associated with the team would cast it as that. The part about “So he’s going to take hits” is right. It’s football! Buc91, snap out of it!

Sore Bicep? Get that man on the massage table.

I was really worried when I saw LD54 down and grabbing at his knee. Was so grateful when he came back quickly to know that it wasn’t serious.

Chukwuma needs snaps! Why aren’t the coaches listening to me?? LOL

Pickgrin, the Bucs head double half dude doesn’t listen to anyone else but himself. Therein lies the root cause of mediocrity spoiling excellence.

Games get flexed 1-2 weeks before not the week of and they don’t flex this early or games besides the primetime ones.

Baker is tough and will play.

Murder would have to be committed if you wanted to keep Feisty Bake out of this game. Look at his facial expressions on the sideline and at game’s end. He’s on a mission; he’s serious and determined about it. He wants our Bucs to go to the top. I still wish he would learn how to slide more.
