Joint Unity In Bucs’ Power Ranking

So a couple of NFL media guys went through a long and detailed power ranking exercise and after agreeing on the worst team in the NFL, they didn’t agree again on a club’s ranking for nearly 115 minutes.
That NFL-worst team? The slimy Saints.
The next team that retired running back Robert Turbin and SiriusXM NFL Radio host Bill Lekas agreed on? The Buccaneers.
Each had Tampa Bay ranked as the No. 9 team in the league.
For those keeping score at home, the ninth-best record in the NFL last season was 11-6. The Joe typing here sees more and more preseason respect being hurled on the Bucs by national media.
Turbin, an eight-year veteran of four teams, including a Seattle Super Bowl winner, says he can now believe Baker Mayfield is a proven commodity. And a franchise QB combined with quality veteran players and “championship experience” had Turbin comfortably calling the Bucs a second-tier roster.
Joe wanted to vomit hearing Turbin place the 49ers at No. 8 overall, though he made up for that by being a non-believer in the Packers, ranking Green Bay at No. 23 overall. He cited the Packers losing four of their final six games, defensive questions, and offseason comments by running back Josh Jacobs that has Turbin questioning team chemistry.

If the Bucs defense can get back to top 10 in scoring allowed – Tampa Bay will be one of the best teams in the league. Top 5 at worst. The offense is f’n loaded.

If the stars align and Bucs stay healthy… could be top 5 on both sides of the ball. That would win quite a few games!
I’ll be happy enough with getting the pass D inside the top 20.

The giants won 3 games last year, the titans and browns 4 each.
I have a tough time believing the saints are worse. I guess their roster could be in worse shape this year.
We were tied at home the last game of the year in the second half.
