I like listening to the podcast when Ira and the Joes are live in the studio. They sound so much better.

I am a fan of Gerald McCoy and would support him eventually making it into the Ring of Honor, but that will be up to the Glazer family.

Hainsey should be in the mix for the left guard position.

Choosing Bucky Irving over Ray Davis tells you all you need to know about what they thought about Davis and the role that they envision for Irving. Licht may have wanted to draft a RB who could also be a kick returner, and that might have been the decisive factor.

Yes, over the years, Bucs defenses have made many QBs, such as Paxton Lynch, Case Keenum, Derek Anderson, etc., look like All Pro, All World Hall of Fame QBs. Although I totally agree about worrying about Daniels running the ball, I am cautiously optimistic that the defense will corral the rookie.

    Enjoyed the podcast.

With the new kickoff rules, Bucky is probably the guy. We have no idea what really transpired with the drafting of Bucky and not Ray. I am guessing the kick return too. However, Bucky only had one kickoff return in 2023 with the Ducks, but before that he had five and eight with the Ducks and Gophers. He played 12-14 games. He has it in him. Looking forward in seeing what he can do. Hopefully, we do better with the kickoff and new rules. You never know. Agree about the Harbaughs probably being the best with the new rules.

So much with that CBS purgatory article. I feel Baker is a top 12 QB. He will be much better this 2nd season.

Actually prefer Ira on the phone. He gets more fired up in those episodes and I like picturing him on the edge of his seat eating a donut.

I love the last 3 minutes of the podcast.
    Ira is the star.
    Better keep Ira happy..
    Feed the man!

  5. BA’s Red Pen Says:

If Keith Armstrong was still the SP Teams coach then I would be terrified about the new kickoff rules….. The new guy can’t possibly be as bad a him, so that’s a plus.
    GO BUCS

  6. TampabayDJ Says:

@BA’s Red Pen – How did that guy last as long as he did in the first place ? Armstrong has to be the worst ST coach in the history of the Bucs.
