Let’s grab Utah’s Jonah Ellis in round two. He would be a steal. 12 sacks last year n balled out against Gators, USC Trojans, n Washington. He’s relentless and he never quit on plays, something that Devin White, JTS, n yes, urs truly, JDean are known to do when the game gets tough. If the three mentioned don’t have a desire to keep playing till the play is over such as their teammate, AWinfield, then they never will. They are, or were there only to do the bare minimum, PERIOD.

I wouldn’t mind the Bucs doubling up on a position to address their most grievous weakness with a guy named Cooper like the Iggles did. Cooper Bebee of course. Christian Haynes would be welcome as well. I can’t believe I’m typing this but if Benson is there I would prefer him over either of those boss hoss guards. Going RB so early seems like sacrilege but the Bucs run game and obsession with it is that bad. I’d go with another Cooper over all three though. That’s be Edgerrin of course. I think I like Malachi Corley most of all for this round.

There is that other LB who is fantastic but made of glass. I wrote him off on injuries from day one. He belongs with the Cowboys where he can continue their tradition of pale face LBs who are amazing players but can’t stay on the field. Maybe they can strip down Sean Lee and Leighton Vanderesch for enough spare parts to keep that cat on the field for a full season?

SB, there are 32 teams, each one gets a pick. it would be 26+32. But then sometimes teams with tied records alternate who goes first every round. Add in the comp picks in the later rounds and it becomes hectic to track.

The Comanches took Sainristil, dang it. Do you think Mariota will sell him #0? He might need the money. I can’t believe after all the fervor over the #1 overall in 2015. Winston is a forgotten back-up for the Browns and Mariota is the same for the Comanches. No one predicted that dual outcome. It a good thing the Bucs tanked for that choice.

We repaced Carlton Davis in House last year. Zyon McCollum played the most defensive snaps of any Cb.
we replaced either Jensen or Stennie last night.
That leaves 3 starters to replace. DE, LB, and either guard or Center

A one-year starter at Alabama, Braswell played the JACK outside linebacker position in former coach Nick Saban’s hybrid 3 -4 scheme, lining up in two-
and three-point stances. After playing in the Tide’s cheetah package in 2022, he took over Will Anderson Jr.’s role in 2023 and led the SEC in pressures (56), one ahead of his teammate, Dallas Turner (55). Both as a pass rusher and run defender, Braswell has a rugged, high -effort play demeanor and uses his aggressive reach/hands to bully blockers or set hard edges. He has explosive flashes, but he often stalls out at the top of his rush and needs to expand the ways he wins as a pass rusher. Overall, Braswell is slightly undersized and still a work in progress in several areas, but his first-step quickness and ability to convert speed to power are solid starting points for a developmental pass rusher.

Braswell? It’s a hope and a dream, a total pick with a prayer for need. Payton, Colson, Coreley and perhaps Tampa has a higher percentage of success in my opinion. I understand the need for a pass rusher, high stakes gamble in my opinion. Hope it works out.

Braswell put up stats last season just slightly less than Dallas Turner and that’s coming from the non blindside where the QB is more likely to see him coming. Dallas Turner was playing with the advantage of coming for the QB from his blindside.

Lol; we absolutely couldn’t get either guys in the 6th. Heavy rotational pieces year one, will see the field a lot. Expect Smith to be in the field in passing downs as LB #2 or nickel #2 besides Izien.

Don’t mind the 3rd round picks but surprised a bit. Thought Franklin WR and TJ Tampa CB would be nice picks but in JL I trust. I wonder why Franklin seems to be sliding.

Welp, tonight was a compound let down. It went off like a wet fart. These aren’t BPA picks. They are Bowles fetish picks and an overrated receiver there is no room for with how much this team runs, which they are worst at in the league for two years straight. I’m not done with Bowles and Rashad White by any stretch but I’m tempering my expectations and don’t enjoy consuming this game anywhere near as much as I did for decades when I was perfectly content expecting them to suck. I’d rather a team that sucks entertainingly well. Not this. Curse Mayfield for sharing his spark.

Tim what makes you think they will put Tykee Smith at LB he’s way to small about 3” to short and about 25/30 pounds to lite he is going to be a special teamer and back up nickel to Izien. They most definitely could have gotten him in the 5th to 6th range

I was thinking we are two drafts away from being a complete team. We did well this draft I believe in filling our biggest needs. Next year‘s draft should be for some explosive players and depth.
