This was a great interview! You guys asked good questions and he gave real answers. I noticed that he (Bowles) seems to be more personable with the team then when he is on the podium and definitely relaxed with you guys. I remember watching the post game press conferences of his and some games, I really think he was mad, mad that they lost the game, but kept it inside. Has he ever ripped into the team?

By the way, do you have an Ask A Joe day/column where you respond to fan emailed questions or comments? No “Ask Joe” feature. Years ago, Joe would publish an occasional hate mail column. That was fun. Joe hits on all subjects (and hopefully answers all questions) in the posts here and on the podcasts.–Joe I know you sometimes respond to comments in the comments. Might be a cool way to interact with the site.

Joe–read the Erin Andrews revelation that when she was 20 yr old a Buccaneer was brutally rude to her, which one in your guess? Sapp?

Thanks Ira and Joe(s). A different side of Todd Bowles, great interaction!

I thought the interview was really good and the questions were good with the limited time. Good work guys!

One thing I thought was really telling, and I was surprised you guys didn’t talk about after, was when Bowles brought up leadership. He mentioned everyone you would think except the old captain of the D, Devin White. Bowles covered him all year, but when things were tough in the middle of the year ole White was checked out. I really think it speaks volumes of Bowles character. Bowles publicly was at times willing to make himself look bad to cover White to make him look good for future teams. I’m still on the fence about keeping Bowles when it comes to coaching, but it sure seems like he has really good values.
