This team is not as good as we thought. They can’t deal with a legit pass rush and man coverage, and the defense is weak. No penetration by the D line and the secondary just sucks. On the offense, Canales needs to be calling short passing routes and involve the RBs in the passing game.

Baker can’t make a read to save his life. He’s mobile and throws a pretty good ball but he’s shorter for a QB and gets many passes batted down. With all that said, the only real problem is that he doesn’t come off reads and scan the field well. If he had that in his game, he would be intriguing.

Bro, please understand this simple concept, so we stop perpetuating this belief that Tampa’s OC has ANY control of playcalling: we had TB12 at QB. We won a ring with BL as OC, and the ball had plenty of air under it. Next season, BA gave Bowles the reins. All the sudden, the only time we saw pass plays was when TB12 got turned up and rebelled. Touchdowns ensued, and you could see Bowles arguing with TB12 on the sidelines. This year, BL had to go because Bowles is a weenie trying to survive. Nowhere to hide now, as you can clearly see that a hungry young OC is shackled to a “rin first” philosophy Todd Bowles has CLEARLY STATED will be the identity of the Buccaneers offense. He is stubborn. He is toxic. He is at fault. He needs to go.
