Joe – Suggestion on these confidence polls. After the poll closes, how about posting, along with the results, a chart or graph showing the weekly progression, from week 1. The + confidences, added together, on one line, the – confidences
on another line. The fluctuations are fascinating. As I recall it went from a -67% one week to, after three wins, to +87.5%.

  2. SteveK Says:

    Totally confident!

Todd Bowles is about to get us a “w” on the road and the defense will shine. I can dream, but it would be awesome to see the D take another step up and rush the hell out of the passer on Sunday. Go Bucs! Let me see more Watts!

  3. HC Grover Says:

Every time he speaks I have less confidence.

Joe – are the Bucs paying BA still? Just curious. I find it funny and intriguing that the Bucs are getting what they pay for in Bowles. Do you realize that Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz is the 25th highest paid college football coach and he makes DOUBLE what Todd Bowles makes? That blows my mind. Here’s a list of the top 35 and NC State’s Dave Doeren makes 2 more million than Bowles.

Everything I see out there shows TB making 3M this season.

  5. HC Grover Says:

No confidence…every gam his clock management skills surface…Ye, Bowles does the ‘Time Warp’. You will see him do it this weekednd. Meatloaf would be proud.

That’s not correct. You’re going off Bowles salary when was DC, which was $3m-year. It’s never been reported what Bowles head coaching salary is – but almost certainly it’s around $5m/year with a 5-year guarantee.

Still that’s an interesting list, and if it is $5m/year then he’d be at the very bottom of that top 35 list. Remarkable how much those college guys are making.

  8. Leighroy Says:

I had a similar thought John, it’d be interesting to see the progression.

  9. Fred McNeil Says:

I have a little confidence from watching what the defense can do if it wants to. I didn’t get to vote though. That can go either way from here. A good showing against the Niners would impress me. If I have to buy a bigger calculator to keep SF’s score…. There’s no need for a poll. Same goes for Canales. Go BUCS!

  10. Pewter Power Says:

Wow 12 votes for totally confident! Ok then

  11. Voice of Truth Says:

For the 25% still in some level of confidence, I would like to speak to you about some land I have available in South Florida….

  12. Will Says:

Maybe they’re confident that he is who he is and that won’t change. Which is a losing coach that seems to be too stubborn to adjust to todays NFL style of play. Although I will say that maybe him having the entire defense watch the Houston game together and listening to how they want to play might show a small hole in his armor and hopefully he’ll continue to listen and loosen up a bit allowing the team to flourish making strides on both sides of the ball.

  13. Since76 Says:

I think he is the sole reason we are predictable with our run run pass His philosophy. .

  14. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I’m pretty much fed up. Really notenjoying this team anymore. And that’s saying a lot, since I even enjoyed the worst seasons in history.

  15. dbbuc711 Says:

I think that the Glazers need to make a hard push for Jim Harbaugh

  16. Curse of Gruden Says:

I’m totally confident that San Fran will roll over this clown show.

  17. Curse of Gruden Says:

    Yes to Harbaugh.

  18. Rod Munch Says:

I’M ALL IN ON THIS TEAM! FOR ME, IT’S EASY, MVP COACH BOWLES IS TAKING THIS TEAM ALL THE WAY TO THE SUPER BOWL! THERE’S NO WAY ANYONE SHOULD BE ANYTHING BUT ‘TOTALLY CONFIDENT’ FOR SURE!

    #TEAMPOSITIVE!
