Report: Jamel Dean “Avoids” Major Injury

November 22nd, 2023

Update.

The way Bucs corner Jamel Dean crumpled to the turf of Levi’s Stadium Sunday and nearly had to be carried off, Joe though surely it was a bad injury.

Alas, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Dean isn’t ruled out for Sunday at Indianapolis.

Dean, per Rapoport, is week-to-week and his foot injury is not considered long-term.

    not injured just solft.

  2. Conte Piscatelli Says:

The only thing he hurt was his pride after he got burned. Soft is right

  3. LVMYBUCS Says:

    Bum!

  4. dbbuc711 Says:

Pride??? Pride???? Pretty dang obvious he doesn’t have any of that

  5. Will Says:

Hopefully him and his soft counterpart aren’t here next year. Neither should have got those big contracts.

  6. Buckeyebuckchuck Says:

Good. Not sure but am wondering if the lack of experienced depth is making him and Davis look worse than they are. Possibly

  7. Allbuccedup Says:

Every time he gets burned he goes down with an injury he did against the niners he did it against the Texans. Whats funny he falls down on his own and gets injured. I call BS.

  8. Duane in Sanford Says:

I had such high hopes for Dean and Davis, especially after all the horrible cbs we had previously. Davis seems to be in decline, and I never felt like Dean hit his potential. Has Bowles gotten all he can get out of their talent, or has he let them down as well?

  9. Pewter Power Says:

At least bring down with an injury would have been some kind of excuse, we’d be saying he’s brittle not short but he’s both now

  10. Architek Says:

Please take him off of the field.

  11. Pelsbuc61 Says:

Dean and Davis are classic examples of Licht’s incompetence. Bucs are strapped with their horrendous contracts. Bucs should get rid of both of them and draft CBs, Dline, RB and QB. Any other CB can’t do any worse than what we’ve seen from these 2 so called veterans. While you’re at it, also dump D.White, JTS, Hall and Neal.

  12. Hodad Says:

Him and Davis are going to wreck some sh!t! Seems the only thing they wreck is our won loss record.

  13. DJB Says:

Dean is a real wussy on the field, no tenacity whatsoever. Where is all the speed he supposedly has, runs like he has a stick up his azz. Typically, when a player is carted off the field, the chances of him playing the next game are slim to none. But now reported that he has not been ruled out against Colts. All that drama being carted off the field (oh please get the cart, I can’t walk it hurts so bad) but nothing notable in the MRI, geesh.

  14. RBUC Says:

Dean is an ACTOR!!!! Not a very good one at that

  15. Bucsfanman Says:

Rumor has it that as Dean was leaving the training table, a Buc WR walked by and Dean twisted his ankle…allegedly!!!

Please prove us all wrong, PLEASE!

  16. Ufcguy32 Says:

Everytime they get burned. It’s an Injury. Believe whatever you want. They’re frauds

  17. Bojim Says:

    Right.

  18. Vern Newsome Says:

I am happy he’s okay. The way he played that play when he got hurt was very very bad. The wr beat him off the line when the ball was snap. He jump to quick and he misjudged the ball. Either stating corners are playing good football this year.

  19. garro Says:

Thats good…No wait…No that’s not good….No wait …aw hell who knows with these guys anymore…

    Go Bucs!

  20. 74 Bucs Fan Says:

Get burned, pretend injury, repeat. Seen enough of this soft crap. How exactly did he “hurt” himself on that play, and so badly he needed a cart? Soft and lack of spine. Very few games that he isn’t laying on the ground.
