Rachaad White Downgraded For Colts Game

November 25th, 2023

Injury update.

Bad news for the Bucs on the injury front.

Bucs receiving back Rachaad White, who was just breaking out to become one of the top receiving backs in the league, may not play tomorrow when the Bucs face the Colts.

This morning, the Bucs downgraded him with a knee injury. He is listed as questionable. No further details were offered.

With defenses doing their best to take out Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, the lone reliable weapon the Bucs had in the passing game was White who was blowing up. He’s second in the league in receiving yards for running backs, just 10 behind league leader Christian McCaffery.

White’s name did not pop up on this week’s injury report.

Defensive lineman Mike Greene’s calf injury (he was listed on this week’s injury report) was also downgraded to out.

Maybe it’s time to give Shaun Tucker some carries and see what he can do.

  2. Chris O Says:

Bucs future isn’t looking very good. Current needs

    QB, WR, 2 RB’s, G, C, TE, DE, DT, OLB, CB S

  3. SufferingSince76 Says:

No big loss for the alleged run game. Maybe Canales will have to call Mike and Chris’ number now.

  4. Chris O Says:

Starting to get sick of Licht. Drafted three TE’s recently, none of which are worth a damn. Drafted two CB’s that are allergic to the football. The entire center of the offensive line is absurdly bad. Reached on Kyle freaking Trask

  5. DoooshLaRue Says:

Come on now, the biggest problem for us is that Jamel Dean is out.

    JAMEL DEAN PEOPLE!!

  6. HC Grover Says:

Oh well maybe Thompkins can be our power back.

  7. J Ghotier Says:

Rachaad has shown to be good in open space (find ways to get him there more Coaches) and his availability has been Bill Parcells level this far in his young career. The rest leaves a lot to be desired, but give him credit where it’s due and his best ability so far has been availability and good in open space. If

I’m gearing up for a 13-6 pillow fight.

  9. CAbucsfan Says:

Steady dose of Chase Edmonds will fire them up

“ Starting to get sick of Licht”

Welcome to the club. Licht gets rid of a top strong saftey in Mike Edwards for Ryan Neal, cant find a TE better than Ko Keift and cant find a RB better than Keyshaun Vaughn.

He even kept Ko Keift over Tanner Hudson whos know making a significant impact for the Bengals. Not to mention throwing $100 millions at 2 bad corners who cant stay healthy.

Licht without Brady is a historically bad GM and outside of a few rookies that have shown flashes from rookies here and there, hes been terrible this season

  11. Tbbucs3 Says:

Running backs seem to grow on trees for 90% of the NFL

Why is it so hard for the Bucs? The best Licht can come up with is Peyton Barber.

  12. pancake block Says:

well, there goes the linchpin to our championship caliber rushing attack

  13. HC Grover Says:

Licht can begone with Bowles for a fresh start next year.

  14. TampaBayBucsFanSince1976 Says:

Tanner Hudson has superior ypc compared to Cade Otton. One of Lichts’ many shortcomings is his inability to reach back to players that have been productive in a Bucs uniform , but left the organization for whatever reason. ROJO is a good RB and would inject some much needed life into the running game. ROJO would cost less than 400,000. Ndamakong Suh started the last Superbowl for the Eagles and may not come as inexpensively as ROJO , but Suh could be afforded and lined up next to VV and they were a wrecking crew when together. Licht has too much false pride and always thinks he is the smartest guy in the room and he just is not.

  15. Jonny Says:

Absolutely no reason to give any snaps to Keyshaun Vaughn even if RW cannot go. He will trip and get us negative yards.

  16. Let em Bake Says:

Loosk like Baker will be forced to throw more, ala, second half catch up mode.
    I like it.

  17. D-Rok Says:

Clever Todd will roll out his secret wishbone RPO game with lead blockers in Vea and Wirfs with Baker at QB. Then, on the final game-winning drive, the Statue of Liberty and Fumblerooskie plays will both be deployed which will psych out the Colts defense and stymie their ability to tackle.

That should guaran-freakin’-tee a certain victory. After the game, Todd will be carried off the field on shoulders, and The Parade will be Monday.

    LOL.

  18. Pewter power Says:

Sean Tucker. Your chance to take over young man so take it.

Please no more sneak Vaughn I just can’t take another run up the middle. At least they they run more stretch plays with Tucker.

  19. tbc 1 Says:

    Patrick Laird!

  20. The Beer Whisperer Says:

This seems about right. After receiving our daily dose of how great Rachaad is at catching an oblong ball, he’s now questionable to do that.

  21. Obvious Says:

Where is that other kid Brown. Isn’t he a running back that had promise? At least I think he’s a running back. I honestly can’t remember. The only thing I know is this coaching staff is normally without a solid game plan with a bunch of critical players missing in action.

Watch out because we just “might be”.headed towards that next iceberg.. 4-7?

  22. Buc4evr Says:

D-Roku, wish we had an RPO game. It would be a lot better than what we are doing now.

  23. The Beer Whisperer Says:

What kind of offense is Timothy Leary trying to create?…. How long does it take to learn new plays?…. Does it require some sort of PHD?…. Are the Bucs players just dumb?

Just curious, since the offense has regressed.

  24. David Says:

Who the hell Baker is going to throw to now ? No dink and dunk.

  25. WyomingJoe Says:

According to Chris O, the Bucs future isn’t looking very good. Current needs: Some REAL fans! What should be done: Resign Baker. Draft Center and RB.

  26. orlbucfan Says:

@WyomingJoe, love it. Current needs: some real fans. 😂 And the birdbrain slamming Licht—spare me. Hope we draft a FB next year. We’ve got receivers and Canales needs to use them.
