Injuries Update

Updates. Lavonte David speaks.
Bucs coach Todd Bowles said he has no updates on injuries to four key Bucs starters, Lavonte David, Carlton Davis, Jamel Dean and Tristan Wirfs.
So Joe will report what he saw and what he heard in the Bucs locker room after the game.
First, the good news:
Joe spoke with warrior David as he was leaving the locker room. He was sort of limping (he suffered a groin injury) but not dramatically so. Joe asked him if he would be OK.
David immediately responded with a confident, almost dramatic nod of the head and said, “Yeah, I’ll be all right.
Moments later, Joe saw Dean on crutches leaving the locker room. He had his left leg bent so that his left foot would not touch the ground. Dean also had his left foot in a boot. A boot usually means, at best, a player’s status is up in the air for the next game. The Bucs listed Dean’s injury as both his ankle and foot.
Joe did not get a chance to talk to Davis but did see him sitting at his locker, gingerly getting dressed. He has a hip injury.
Joe did not get a chance to see or talk to Wirfs, but Wirfs did return to play after getting hurt (what appeared to be a foot/ankle issue on replay). The Bucs media relations staff did not issue any injury report on him.

Tweedle Dean and Tweedle Davis are the softest, most mentally-weak players on this team. They are absolutely stealing paychecks at this point.

Regardless of what they’re saying, the way Dean landed and acted, I’m afraid he suffered a rupture of his Achilles.
Crazy how low IQ fans continue to call Dean and Davis soft despite never having made a tackle or defensed a pass in their lives.

99 I noticed the same thing. Almost every play he gets beat he’s hurt. Everyone is hating on em. I won’t. Most of the time not all they do get beat but most of the time in man to man they do well it’s when they are in zone is when they get burnt. Baffles me Bowles still calls zone plays when people are running wide open all the time

LVD got hurt cos Devon White did his usual slacker routine. Screw him and hope he is gone next year!

Doesn’t matter. This season is done. They should be looking to extend Wirfs and Winfield and finding new coaches and getting rid of rest of the dead weight players on this team.

Dean should be on IR for the rest of the season and then cut. Maybe just cut him now…..

The biggest injury to the YUCS is their PRIDE! Literally the only team that still plays soft zone and/or old Tampa 2 D. That crap left when Montey left. Sorry to see any Yucs player hurt…but this team has some serious issues. Stagnent O-line. Slow D-line (except fir mainly 2) undersized corners. And TACKLING! Don’t get me started on TACKLING fundamentals! These guys couldn’t tackle a RB with a harpoon and a handgrenade! I actually feel SORRY for Baker. QB to a new team, with a new system, under a new OF coordinator, all under a mediocre head coach. I give this “experiment 1 more season, and the Glazers scuttle the whole ship and start anew!

The Bucs are who we knew them to be. I got a lot done late yesterday afternoon. They aren’t worth draining my emotional energy over. They scored more than I thought they would. Canales is TB’s puppet doing only what he’s allowed to do. The Bucs famed battleship has a Titanic hole in it and is sinking fast. The new decade of depression has arrived.
