Bucs Are Second Favorite To Land No. 1 Overall Draft Pick

July 13th, 2023

“Look, Glazer, we’re not allowed to wager, but I’d bet my Super Bowl ring that we’re not picking in the top-2.”

Like NFL super insider Peter King of NBC Sports, many sportsbook oddsmakers think the Bucs are the second worst team in the National Football League.

Bet MGM has the Cardinals as the favorite on their board to have the worst record in the NFL this season. The Bucs are the second choice. ProFootballTalk.com has the story today, but Joe has seen various Bucs-are-awful odds at various sportsbooks.

Over at the DraftKings sportsbook, the Bucs are heavy favorites to not make the playoffs at -450. That means if you bet $450 on the Bucs to miss the playoffs and that’s what happens, you collect $100 profit. Only the Cardinals are bigger favorites to miss the postseason in the NFC.

It really amazes Joe how the Bucs are seen as a garbage football team. The roster quality shouldn’t justify such doom and gloom, even with Kyler Traskfield currently at quarterback.

Joe gets the lack of faith in Todd Bowles’ head coaching ability. But Joe thinks evaluating the Bucs as the 31st-best team (that was the Texans last season at 3-13-1) is outright nonsense.

If the Bucs do finish that poorly, it will be a busy 2024 offseason with a new head coach and a hearty roster overhaul.

If Bowles can get his act together, there will some eating of crows. Admittedly, a big if.

  2. PA Buc Fan Says:

Bowles is a terrible head coach. Great dude but awful coach. That is why everyone believes we will be one of the worst teams in the country. Throw on top of that Baker as qb who hasn’t put a good season together in quite some time and you have the recipe for a team that will be battling for one of the worst records in the NFL this season. I am fully anticipating a 4-13 type season but am “hoping” to be surprised. I won’t hold my breath though!

  3. Da Bucs Guy Says:

Get ready for a new HC, and major roster changes then.

  4. zzbucs Says:

I don´t think Bowles is a terrible head coach, he has extrordinary defensive mind, what makes him an excelente DC, and an average head coach,.

Do I preferr others? Sure I do, but I do not blame just him for last year….Last year was a combination of different things , where of course he has a big part of it.
I also think this is a very important year for him……..

  5. Lord Cornelius Says:

Really is pretty insane. Can’t remember the last time a team with this decent of a roster; with tons of names that literally just won a SB; was ranked so bad going into a season.

What about the Commanders / Colts / etc? There are other teams with super questinoable QB’s and worse rosters.

I think a lot of it is the media likes seeing change/ new stories or teams emerging or teams crumbling. They are all super excited about Atlanta for example

  6. Anonymous Says:

I’m all for us sucking. You play to win a championship, not to be mediocre. Does anyone truly think this is a championship worthy team? I sure as hell don’t.

Question marks at every position on the field including the most important one. A loser head coach.

Getting the number one pick will actually make this place a desirable location for a HC. You saw this past season, nobody wanted to come be the OC for Bowles.

The #1 Draft pick is an awesome attraction for any future HC.

Being mediocre sets us back years, I’d rather suck this upcoming season to make sure the next 5-10 years we are slowly improving and becoming a great team.

The league is going even more offense, defensive minded HC’s are not succesful anymore.

  7. Dooley Says:

What was that line Carlton Davis had on these predictions? something something something “nobody knows sh*t until it happens” or something like that. Def not looking at sports books to evaluate how good the team I follow can be, but if that is your cup of tea go on and sip.

  8. Danny Husak Says:

Well Lord Cornelius, I can remember all 4 of them. The Cleveland Browns. The Cleveland Browns. The Cleveland Browns. Oh yea, The Cleveland Browns. I have a ton bet on Baker out performing Watson this year.

Of course the Browns didn’t win a Super Bowl a few years earlier. BUTT they DID win 4 games the year before and THAT in itself was just as big a miricle !!!!!!

  9. Bobby M. Says:

I think Mayfield has similar trajectory as Ryan Tannehill, maybe even a Kirk Cousins. You can win with game managers…probably won’t go deep in the playoffs but you can get there, especially in our division.

  10. shankasorous Says:

Unfortunately, first-round quarterbacks are much more likely to flop than the hype would have you believe. Since the 2000 draft, 69 quarterbacks have been drafted in the first round. Of those 69 quarterbacks drafted in the first round, only 10 have even played in a Super Bowl, and of those 10, only 5 have won a Super Bowl.

Bottom line: only 5% of first-round quarterbacks will win a Super Bowl. Makes you wonder if football is a team sport, huh?

  11. shankasorous Says:

    ^ 7%

  12. Canabuc Says:

I think that Todd Bowles is a very good defensive coordinator who cannot be a head coach. He does not really have the right mindset for how to manage an offense. Hopefully he has the good sense to let the coordinator implement a system that can be successful.

It is quite possible that as bad as we were offensively last year it was in spite of Bowles and wholly due to an inept scheme from Byron.

As bad as the records show for Bowles as coach. The previous ones were with the Jets…

  13. APiratesLife Says:

Going to be tough to beat out the Cards for the worst record. That roster is no bueno on both sides of the ball. I would not be surprised at all to see the Cards go winless in that division. We will do better than that.

  14. Oneilbuc Says:

I will like to bet that if they draft a quarterback next year they will not developed him !! Who wants in on the bet ???

  15. John Sinclear Says:

Why even bother, at this point, to even play the 2023 season? Per all the “experts” it’s already over. Just give everybody the year off, and next spring just draft seven QB’s. Maybe one of them will be acceptable?

  16. Joe Says:

Unfortunately, first-round quarterbacks are much more likely to flop than the hype would have you believe.

Sure. But when they hit, you’ve struck gold.

Does anyone see the Chiefs, Bengals, Bills, Crows, Jags or Chargers crying about making a mistake and wanting to cut their quarterbacks?

The gamble is more than worth it.

  17. Buddha Says:

This ultimate bullspit! Last year three of the four teams predicted as likely to get the top draft pick were: Seattle, Jacksonville, and Atlanta. Two of the three made the playoffs. Three of the four predicted most likely to be in the Superbowl were Rams, Packers, and Buccaneers and none of the three even won nine games. The fact is the line between the best teams and the worst teams in the NFL is not very great. The salary cap ensures this. Also the odds makers capitalize on it. They play on the herd mentality.

  18. Oneilbuc Says:

It seems like they are pushing for the bucs to tank especially Joe and most of the people on this site. That’s why I say this is a loser franchise and fan base . I never seen a fan base that wants to lose instead of winning!! How many years are you guys are going to settle for losing?? This will be a wasted season and next year will be another losing season. And by mid season 2025 most of yall on here will turn on Caleb Williams and y’all will be saying let’s tank for the next quarterback class it will be better!! I really believe the bucs need to move their team out of Tampa!!

  19. Joe in Michigan Says:

I’m throwing the BULL SH!T flag on this narrative. I could see if the NFC south was loaded with dominant teams. Is there any of you that thinks there’s a great/very good team in the South?

  20. Winny Testaverde Says:

If The Bucs are gonna stink up the joint ( they likely will )…may as well completely stink it up I say. Like a stock market correction…a “reset” is likely needed as the cap continues to heal ( there are ways around that I realize…but the current piper must be paid ).

  21. Oneilbuc Says:

Joe Lamar Jackson was drafted 32 in the first round and Josh Allen suck the first 2 years and most media outlets were saying Buffalo should be looking to draft another quarterback next year but Josh Allen proved all of them wrong. But he had waay better coaches. But the bucs has never developed a quarterback so what makes you think they will do it this time ??

  22. Dwayne Cone Says:

Bucs will face a lot of Mobile QB’s this season. By week 3 we will have faced Justin Fields and Jalen Hurts. I am confident that Bowles will have a defense that will not allow them to be beat by QB’s getting loose by then.

I find it odd that for what has now become a passing league more teams are drafting Guys that put up major rushing yards in college. Fans like ‘Electric’ and I hope Bowles can devise a Defense to short circuit that quick.

As far as a 3 win season are they predicting we beat the Colts, Texans, and Carolina once because they will be fielding Rookie QB’s?

Cannot wait to see how a no nonsense pocket QB like Shroud stacks up against the runners like Richardson and Young. Personally I think that a pocket passer should be replacing Brady. If I don’t see him any time past the preseason perhaps I will see him in Detroit when Hooker busts as the replacement for Goff.

Anyway I think 3 wins is awful low for the Bucs.

  23. JD Still Says:

Classic example of group think, all the prognosticators and talking heads get together , talk among themselves and come to the same conclusion no matter how irrational it may be. You can see it in their columns, they all start saying the same thing , even using the same words and phrases to prove their conclusions are justified, ( a form of cowardice really , safety in numbers because if they’re wrong they can’t fire everybody). When this happens It might be worthwhile , ( and profitable), to place a bet against the group consensus.

  24. Winny Testaverde Says:

    Oh OneLilBuc/ONeil Kissin’ Cousins…

You finally got your wish with Brady hanging them up…( talk about a fella who hated that era of championship football ) and now the fan base is a bunch of losers?

I will give you this…you’ve upped your writing game from a 2nd grade level to the current almost understandable one. I salute you, Sir. But wanting a franchise type quarterback isn’t a bad thing. Keep your chin up over there…

  25. ShakeandBaker Says:

Oneil just stop. You sound ridiculous when you say that. You keep trying to find a great one with the understanding that not all picks work out.

  26. Boss Says:

that would be AWESOME. no more tolet bowl AND get the pick of the litter.

DE or QB. Trade ME and get back into the first round for his replacement. If we trade DW by the trade dealine we could have another high pick for OL

    There is optimism afterall!

  27. Oneilbuc Says:

Don’t get mad because I don’t approve of losing on purpose and I just know according to the bucs history they will not developed a quarterback!!! The bucs need to build a power house defense and get a good running game and just plug in a average or slightly above average quarterback and the bucs will win another Superbowl.

  28. JD Still Says:

To Oneilbuc: Good point , a franchise that has never in their entire history successfully developed a quarterback , it might be a good idea to concentrate on learning how to develop the talent we have instead of chasing the next shiny object to ruin.

  29. Buc4evr Says:

It all boils down to the QB and Traskfield is going to be pathetic. No way will this team put up 30 points per game. Baker is not going to get magically better because of Canales and Jason knows he is putting a lousy product on the field. The Glazers know the situation is dire, but they need to sell tickets. So let’s hype our new QB and try to convince the fans Traskfield is doing great. This should be an interesting season, but definitely take the under.

  30. Oneilbuc Says:

Trestaverde . Your Brady don’t even talk about the bucs since he left it’s been all New England Patriots for him and I respect him for that . He’s a Patriot and he will always be known as a Patriot not a buc !! So yes I’m glad he’s gone because now all the fake bucs fans and Brady fans are gone. And the name you are using go ask him what he thinks about his career with the bucs because he was a national championship and heisman trophy wining quarterback and the bucs ruined him !! If I was the bucs I would go after Justin Herbert and I know it sounds impossible but I would give up a first round Christ Godwin and a first round in 2025 and a third for Justin Herbert. Other than that build a power house defense first and snig a veteran just not a guy in their 40s.

  31. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I know nothing about college football these days…just watched highlights of Drake Maye. I watched for the usual things QBs struggle with when entering the NFL.

It was highlights, so they were made to make him look good, but in what I saw, he did well under pressure. He was very accurate.

He does tend to look in the direction he is going to throw, and his fake handoffs are horrible.

Anyone know anything else about him?

  32. Sly Pirate Says:

    10-7

  33. Tony Says:

I don’t know if they’d be picking that high but I doubt they’d win more than 7. I think the only way Bowles stays is if he gets them to the playoffs this year.

  34. Oneilbuc Says:

It would be funny if Trask get his shot and play good and bucs make the playoffs. I think Joe and the rest of his followers that believe everything he says will upset.

  35. Oneilbuc Says:

Joe were is my last comment I didn’t say anything bad ??

  36. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Okay, watching Caleb Williams highlights. This kid is incredible.

There are times I don’t like his footwork during his throwing motion, and at first I thought he had a low release point, but this seemed to improve as the highlight went on.

The kid can run and scramble.

He would be very exciting to watch.

I suspect Drake Maye will be great too, but Caleb seems a step above.

  37. ocala Says:

Anything is possible, but I expect the Bucs to be one of the bottom ten teams in the league especially with possibly the worst head coach in the NFL.

  38. Stormy Says:

If Trask somehow starts and plays well, I’ll be happy.

If Mayfield starts and plays well, I’ll be happy.

If either of those guys hit, you have a short turnaround to respectability. Why people are rooting for one over the other baffles me. I don’t care if the Bucs starting QB is home grown or brought in. It doesn’t matter. W-L record nothing more.

If they both suck, I’ll be happy. Bowles will be gone and the franchise can set a 5 year plan with a new staff. No way you let Bowles do it, especially if they’re bad enough to earn a top 5 pick.

  39. Dwayne Cone Says:

Don’t get mad because I don’t approve of losing on purpose and I just know according to the bucs history they will not developed a quarterback!!!

Didn’t Tampa just hire an OC that was involved with developing Gino Smith? Canales was hired in February and Mayfield in March which tells me the OC was initially brought here to develop Trask.
Tom Brady increased his Passing Strength thru Hip Rotation. Trask has ‘Overhauled’ his Mechanics. Canales will get the best out of the Guys he has or I would hope that is the case.

  40. NCBucfan Says:

The good thing is that we are probably in arguably the worst division in the league. So there is always another possible shot of being 8-9, heck even 7-10 might win the division.

  41. Cobraboy Says:

There are several outstanding players on this roster.

Even a bad coach like Bowles can’t cause a total “top two pick” collapse.

Unless Canales is as bad as Flat Hat and Bowles.

  42. AlabamaBucsFan Says:

Totally understandable on the ranking due to:

Unknown passing attack due to QB
Unknown running attack due to RB
Unknown pass rushing due to DL

  43. Winny Testaverde Says:

Would be GM OneLilBuc has the parameters in place for a Justin Herbert trade! That was easy! Chargers had a down season and drafted him early the following spring…weird concept.

  44. Pewter Power Says:

So wait baker mayfield isn’t better than Desmond ridder? Defense was bottom of the league last year but there as a running back and are better. The Texans bears and colts lol seriously? I guess because Daniel Jones got paid he’s a franchise quarterback.

  45. Buc1987 Says:

    Caleb’s coming to Tampa!

  46. Ugotrobbed Says:

So apparently Tom Brady was “the team”! Now…”the team” has left the building! lol

  47. Oneilbuc Says:

It’s crazy how bad most of y’all want to lose that’s crazy lol 🤣!! Think about what you guys are saying you are saying let’s lose this year on purpose!! Go ask Steelers fans or Ravens and even Packer fans or their media feel about tanking for any player and you will see why they have a rich history of winning and why we have a rich history of losing!!! Glazers please pull the bucs out of the city Tampa!!

  48. Defense Rules Says:

Have felt for several months now that the Bucs could end with anywhere from a 7-10 to a 10-7 W-L record this season. Leaning more towards the 10-7 side now after taking deeper looks at our opponents. That’s largely because I’m starting to feel more optimistic about our defensive situation, and I think it’ll be the strength of the team in close games (I’m expecting that we’ll have a LOT of games with 7 points or less winning margin).

Back in 2020 our offense put up 492 points in 16 games (30.8 PPG). In 2021 we put up our most ever points at 511 in 17 games (30.1 PPG). Last season we fell off a cliff & only put up 313 points in 17 games (18.4 PPG) … almost 200 points LESS than the year before. We plummeted from the #2 offense to the #25 offense in just 1 year, with the same QB, little change in the WRs & RBs, even kept the same OC. What changed was the OLine, the TEs & we substituted a defensive HC for an offensive HC. The OLine as we know got very banged up, Gronk retired, there was no BA to redline BL’s work, and Brady wasn’t Brady. Lots of potential reasons why we sucked offensively, but hopefully we’ve made some progress in mitigating some of those issues. We won’t know until we start playing in Sep.

  49. catcard202 Says:

Oddsmakers have the most wiggle room for making errors in judgement in the off-season/pre-season. But I think we all have had that potential “top 5 pick season” baked into the 23 cake.

IMO, Bowles is 100% on the hot seat entering Yr2…But garnering a top 2 pick would be a gift the FO cannot squander, should it occur.

The Glazer’s don’t have season ticket holders locked into future packages. The club needs something to generate excitement & hope for the future. The Sales & Marketing Dept. is in a serious bind w/o a new FACE of the Franchise to sell

Baker / Traskcan aren’t moving the needle…Which is evident by the fact that the team shop is still hocking TB12 gear like he leading the team out the tunnel…Creamsicles & all…Fricken 32 direct purchase options for TB12 JERSEY’s alone – without touching the umpteen hundred other TB12 merch available on site…While there’s minimal Baker/Traskcan options…That speaks louder than words!

  50. Cobraboy Says:

Maybe it’s time to invest in “over.”

  51. HC Grover Says:

The irrational exuberance will be ended after the first couple games.

  52. Alanbucsfan Says:

There’s only 10 NFL teams with more SB wins than Bucs.
History shows SB winning teams have:
    1) Dominating Defense
    2) Dominating OLine
    3) HOF QB
or a combination of all 3
History also shows you can win a SB without a HOF QB.
Just make the playoffs and see what happens…

  53. Shark Coast Tactical Says:

This is media click bait crap. It’s easy articles for the media to write. Hack crap. Who trusts the media now a days? If we suck, we suck. It’s not something we haven’t seen before. We are in the state we are in because the local media and fans do not hold ownership accountable. Philly Fans would have rioted over the crap we have been though. Embrace the suck. We are Bucs fans. It’s NEVER been easy except for Brady’s first year. Speaking of Brady? Hey sucked last year. There, I said it. Sack Magnet. Tried to leave and got caught. Wife left him. Got ripped off by goober nerds. Boo Fining hoo. Don’t feel bad for him or us. He’s rich as fuk and we got a Super Bowl. We are rebuilding. Everyone knows it. No reason for the media to be diks but they see something easy to write about so it’s game on. Baker has been here since day 1 putting in work. Canales appears solid. I thinks it’s amazing we got him. It’s kinda inconceivable. He seems good. Why would he come here? Because we are Tampa and we are giving him his shot. Bowels? I’ll never forget the Kupp thing. But he is our coach and I support him. I don’t want to look for another HC. Bowels and Canales might just work. Jason Licht had an awesome off season. Spytek is a warlock. Our draft was solid. Might go down as the best one we’ve had in years. Can’t wait for training camp.

  54. Dewey Selmon Says:

I just dont see it. The defense will win us 4 games, the offense will click for 6 wins, Keith Armstong will cost us 2 wins, and Bowles will cost us 2 wins with bone headed HC decisions. That is 6 -11 record and a draft pick in the 6-10 range next year.

  55. Dwayne Cone Says:

1.6% of all college players make it to the NFL. Williams and Maye are going to look good against a super majority of talent that are a mile and a half from a NFL practice squad.

Brady’s 1st preseason game went 3 for 4 and 28 yards with two to his buddy from college out of the back field. Trask put Tampa in position for a preseason win against Miami that only failed because the kicker hit the goal post.
Although it was not against the starters it was against better than the run to the mill college talent.

If Tampa gets an early pick in 2024 it won’t go on a QB.

  56. Saul Says:

These are the same experts that gave the Bucs no chance of winning the super bowl when they played the Chiefs and not one admitted that they were wrong!!

  57. Glass Half Full Guy Says:

Have to agree with Joe that if a top pick QB pans out it’s striking gold.

There isn’t a team out there who is currently without a “franchise QB” who are saying “Just get me a Trent Dilfer type and we can try to win with our running game and defense”. So a gamble on someone like Caleb is still a gamble and expectations need to be tempered until he suits up with the big boys in the NFL.

Every draft pick is a gamble. So are trades and FA signings. Injuries can happen at any time. A player may not be a good fit for your scheme, etc.

But to say the Bucs as they are currently assembled look like the second worst team in the league? They’re not even the 2nd worst in their division talent-wise. It’s all hot air.

How did the Super Bowl champ Rams do on their way to “running it back” last year? They posted a 5-12 record. I rest my case. Look at the NFC West as a division this year. Seattle probably wins it unless Purdy can repeat his magic with the Niners after his injury. I’ll put our Bucs ahead of all of them record-wise in the end.

  58. Allbuccedup Says:

Bowles 1st year with the Jets they went 10-6 second year 5-11. Going by that logic 8-9 last year translates to 4-13.

    ^^^^^^^^
That’s not “logic”, that’s throwing sh!t against the wall and seeing if it sticks.

  60. Jeff’s grandpa Says:

Why worry what one clown thinks

  61. Dom Says:

The key to this is going to be the Bears and Falcons game in week 2 & 7.

Vikings, Eagles, Saints, Lions, and Bills are all games I expect the Bucs to be underdogs and lose. If they also lose to the Bears and Falcons or even just go 1-1, I see a real path to the 1st or 2nd pick. You’d be 0-7 or 1-6 with the bye week gone and 6 of your last 10 games are away games. The team would be demoralized with a lame duck head coach.

At that point I’d really try trading Devin White and admit the tank is on. Honestly I’m hoping this is what will happen. The transition of Brady to Caleb Williams would be like the Colts with Manning to Luck. It would be great for the franchise and it’d probably be a quick turn around since there is talent on the top. Just not a lot of depth on this team. That’s what’s going to kill the Bucs. Injuries happen and they don’t got the depth to be a good football team over the course of 17 games. With all the dead cap space this year there is too much of reliance placed on young unproven players and undrafred guys

  62. Defense Rules Says:

Glass Half Full Guy … ‘How did the Super Bowl champ Rams do on their way to “running it back” last year? They posted a 5-12 record. I rest my case.’

Interesting perspective. Rams went from a 12-5 record in 2021 and Super Bowl champions to a 5-12 record in 2022. Offensively they went from scoring 460 points in 2021 to scoring only 307 points in 2022 while their defense stayed roughly the same. And they did it with a respected offensive-minded head coach & the same starting QB both years.

I think in the end both the Bucs & Rams had similar issues. You gotta have the horses to be a contender, and neither team did last year for various reasons (injuries to key players played a big part for both teams IMO). And neither Brady nor Stafford showed any real magic last year (Father Time catches up to us all eventually). Both teams have done a lot of ‘retooling’ this off-season & that’ll translate into a lot of uncertainty about how their new guys will perform. Guess that’s why we still need to play the games instead of just accepting what the expert talking heads tell us.

  63. Destinjohnny Says:

Ole destin johnny has been saying that now for 6 months….
    Talents not there.
Feel bad for Bowles because the fan base can’t seem to see the lack of talent.

  64. stpetebucfan Says:

IMHO the Bucs have enough “skill” players. They shouldn’t need a superstar QB to score more points than last year. As D.R. posted the defense looks like they might be getting better…IF the young draft picks can contribute.

It’s the OL that has me optimistic. Last year was a perfect storm. Ali Marpet the best OL until Wirfs retires…and the RG is also gone in a trade and the fiery heart of the line at C goes down with the Knee. That’s literally the entire middle, the heart and soul of the OL GONE.

The upside is that a lot of young guys were forced to play before they were ready. If nothing else that should provide some genuine depth.

And IMHO the addition of Feiler reminds me of the Logan Mankins move. No Feiler isn’t Mankins who was a beast but like Mankins he’s a starter Two different teams. He’s played tackle and guard and doesn’t draw flags for holding or jumping offsides. He is a SOLID disciplined vet…again a poor man’s Logan Mankins. He and Wirfs will make a HUGE wall on the left side.

Two positions up for grabs with a half dozen candidates on the right side. The OL is going to be much better this year.

Call me old fashioned but I believe games are won in the trenches.

  65. TDavis Says:

This the way I think of it. Baker is better than people think, so the ceiling for this team is probably 9-8. Then you subtract 2 wins because of Bowles (see the Browns game last year), 2 wins because of injuries, bad bounces, etc, and 1 game that’s one of those “man we should’ve won that one”, and you have 4-13.

Plus the Bucs defense is average. They don’t have a pass rush, so basically by definition they don’t have a good defense.

  66. TDavis Says:

I personally think 6-11 is a more reasonable prediction based on the average of where they should be and where they would be if things to go wrong

  67. Drunkinybor Says:

I think Bowles replacement is already coaching the offense.

  68. buccee Says:

Defense Rules Says: ‘Rams went from a 12-5 record in 2021 and Super Bowl champions to a 5-12 record in 2022 … with a respected offensive-minded head coach & the same starting QB both years.”

Matthew Stafford played with an elbow/UCL injury in 2022 before being lost for the season due to another injury.

  69. Craig Says:

Wait until the Sports Illustrated football preview comes out and then flip their picks over.

That will tell you how well these prognosticators can guess. Know one can tell until it is hindsight that tells them. The best laid plans still won’t survive after they get punched in the mouth and regular season is a punch in the mouth every week.

  70. Rod Munch Says:

What a difference a year makes! Last year at this time, they were the favorites to make the Super Bowl out of the NFC.
