Yes, but they should have fired Bowles too.

  2. LVMYBUCS Says:

    Really Joe really 🤣

  3. Tye Says:

Does Bowels need to go too?….
    Also, YES!

  4. D-Rok Says:

Now Byron can begin his post-NFL public speaking tour. Best of luck, sir! 😉

  5. SB~LV Says:

    Y
But Bowles needs to go too
He showed nothing and evidently he showed nothing with the Jets
Todd needs to go because there is already an umbrella of doubt.
Players need to be coached and not simply told. Coaching is fluid and it is a art knowing how to coach different players and personalities.
Bowles is nothing more than a bookmark

  6. Jack Sparrow Says:

Do a poll about firing Bowles

  7. gp Says:

Flash poll: 95% say Bowles should go too!
The remaining 5% have fond memories of our first two seasons and would like to return to those “glory” years.

  8. AmauryGuzman Says:

Can they fire the DC as well? Fire Bowles. Lost in the game is how awful this defense was. It’s so soft. The scheme is soft. These corners are soft playing off coverage. 49ers will make Dak look average because they play defense.

  9. Goatfarmer Says:

Next poll – should the Bucs fire Todd Blowea?

Magic 8 Ball says “Signs point to yes”

  10. darengibo Says:

    The organization is halfway there…..

  11. BrianBucs Says:

    Joe
Where is the Should Bucs Fire Todd Bowles poll?

  12. Goatfarmer Says:

Guz – 49ers will wipe the field with Dak’s prolapsed arse. Too bad the Glazers didn’t think about hiring John Lynch when they could have.

  13. gp Says:

    AmauryGuzman
Yep! The 9er’s are poised to win the superbowl with mister irrelevant at QB.
Think about THAT when you consider our coaching staff!

  14. sasquatch Says:

Curious who voted No or Not Sure in this poll. What planet are they on?

    Joe
Where is the Should Bucs Fire Todd Bowles poll?

Give it up. It’s not happening. Give the man a chance to turn it around in year 2 with his own coaches.

  16. Ultra ClodHopper Says:

It was only partially a good move. It was in the right direction but not enough and too late.

  17. Jeff Says:

    Huge mistake! Lol!

  18. gp Says:

and would like to return to those “glory” years.

    UMMMMMM

  19. SOEbuc Says:

    Yes.

And probably been in contact with others for a while now about OC and HC.

  20. gp Says:

    Jeff

    Another

  21. SB~LV Says:

Bowles had a few years with Tom Brady, the last as his head coach, Bowles showed that he his devoid of leadership skills

  22. Marine Buc Says:

We were so close to getting comp picks (I believe 2 – 3rd rounders) if he would have been hired as a head coach…

    Now – nothing.

    Oh well.

  23. Goatfarmer Says:

Try to go through life like Flounder from Animal House.

  24. Goatfarmer Says:

Joes algorithm won’t let me quote Dean Wormer.

But there are worse ways to go through life.

  25. Goatfarmer Says:

Jason, it’s almost happy hour. Where are Minken’s papers? Good God man.

  26. Bucsfanman Says:

Absolutely, YES! Top 5 offense to #25?! With the GOAT!!!

I think BA was running interference for this guy when he was HC because there’s no other logical explanation.

  27. Jack Clark Says:

Yes the Bucs made the right choice by firing Byron “Can’t Get Right” Leftwich because he refused to change and adapt our offense based off the observables such as what was working and what was not working. Todd “Scaredy Cat” Bowels YOU NEXT if you don’t do the same!

  28. SB~LV Says:

I don’t need to suffer another year of Glazers experimentation.
Bowles never had this team ready to play, the game in Germany it was the fans and atmosphere.
Bowles past with the Jets along with last year is all he gets, IMO.
This town deserves a breath of fresh air and optimism, ain’t no optimism with Bowles
I hope he is gone soon!

  29. TAMPA BAY DEMON™ Says:

    WOW 93% so far.
Yes, it absolutely needed to be done.

That being said, I appreciate Byron’s years here & accomplishments and wish him well.

    Definitely ready for some changes.

  30. TAMPA BAY DEMON™ Says:

    JOE says:
“Give (Bowles) a chance to turn it around in year 2 with his own coaches.”
    _____________

    Agreed.

  31. LastDance Says:

You can count on Bowles to make all the wrong decisions no matter what they are… because as a sh!ttey HC his team will dwell in the basement regardless of the decisions.

  32. Allbuccedup Says:

    Where is Bowles poll?

  33. SB~LV Says:

I can hear the 2023 booing already if Bowles is the coach!

  34. Jmarkbuc Says:

Did they fire the ST coach? Bowles? Licht?

    Half measures…

  35. mark2001 Says:

How about a “should we give Lovie a second chance? ” poll. Or maybe who would you rather have as a HC… Lovie or Todd? That would be an interesting poll.

  36. mark2001 Says:

Or maybe a “will we win more than 8 games next year?” poll.

  37. ben Says:

FIRE the scared to win head coach ,please!!!

  38. SB~LV Says:

    Sell the team please!

  39. Jerry Says:

The problem I have with Bowles is this team seems to lack heart and fight. I mean Devin White talks about how he’s “bored.” You got a lot of guys who just don’t seem to have the killer instinct. They show up, go through the motions of their job, collect the paycheck and go home. That’s the culture we have now. And sure that’s probably why Brady sees no future here.

I don’t see Bowles turning this mentality around. He’s just not the type of coach that’s going to do that. I think you will see a lot of the same thing next season…a lot of uninspiring football and wasted talent and opportunity.

  40. SB~LV Says:

Raheem Morris would be able to do a better job than Bowles next year!

  41. YucsBall Says:

I can hear the booing already. I wonder how many blackout games they’ll be.

  42. PewterStiffArm Says:

I would just love to know where the no votes came from. What planet did these people live on this past year. Who do they want next year Lovie Smith? How about Sam Wyche and his twirling index finger. Or better yet how about Leeman Bennett, some people are clueless.

  43. HC Grover Says:

    Now fire the main problem…Bowels.

  44. HC Grover Says:

The media Bowels Protection Team is out in force. Protect Bowels and blame everyone and ting else. Nahhhh. It is Bowels,

  45. HC Grover Says:

The right thing to do is put up a fire Bowels Poll. Otherwise it looks rigged with only one option. Why Bowels always get a pass?

  46. HC Grover Says:

I have been watching JBF for almost 2 year. The consensus of comments are far and away better than any other Buc Media Source.

  47. John Says:

    Should fire everyone.

  48. SB~LV Says:

The players performance poll is the only one that matters and I didn’t see them play with passion and killer instinct except for the Germany game.
Bowles is a soggy wet diaper that has been in need of a change.

A poll on this site won’t get you anything but a response from others that you want. What’s the point?

  50. Canadianbucsfan Says:

    Now time to fire Bowels

  51. Jack Clark Says:

NO NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS COACHES please. They are all TERRIBLE without Tom Brady!!!!! 🤣 🤣

Do a poll about firing Bowles

Why would you want to fire our Super Bowl winning, Defensive minded, head coach? Is it because he has a losing record? Or is it because his name is not Bill Belichick?

  53. Pickgrin Says:

LOL – Try getting 94% of the general population to agree on ANYTHING…..

Nice job Lefty – you did that…….

Now maybe we can get some offensive minded coaches with creativity – Ones that know how to scheme properly for specific opponents and who can adjust in-game as needed….. Bucs have been in short supply of all those attributes offensively since the day Arians stepped down.

  54. HC Grover Says:

Lefty yea but want Bowels poll too. Why not? Is he protected?

    I vote Bowls too.

  55. HC Grover Says:

St Aug this site is the most informed Buc source available. All year long. That is why. Regular fans interested and objective.

  56. ClwJB Says:

Okay all you give him a chancers – and please don’t run me Joe but you are all blind as a bat

Watching him stand emotionless doing nothing on the sidelines week after week while the team just sleepwalks through games is plenty enough for me

He sucks out loud and has no business as a HC – he has clearly demonstrated his lack of ability with the Jets and now with Tom Brady and his hand picked defensive personnel – Hicks over Suh, Ryan over Whitehead and the D went south also

Bowles is going to run us further into the ground than we already are

  57. Tony Says:

I guess we’re satisfied with just a couple good years of winning then that’s it. We don’t wanna deal with losing anymore the fans have dealt with enough of it already. The team has been rebuilding since they came out in the 70s. Really? It takes THAT LONG?

  58. The Anomaly Says:

Bowels is one of the worst head coaches I have ever seen.

He is worse than ambien. No emotion and the team plays like him.

Another wasted year. Arians gets credit for a SB and blame for this leftover mess.

No decent coaches will come here knowing that Bowels has ONE year to improve or he’s done. Cap is a mess. No QB.

    Worst case scenario. 4-13 incoming.

  59. HC Grover Says:

I predict 68 percent of JBF would vote to fire Bowels.

  60. Bucsfan714 Says:

Hoping to see this Poll tomorrow….

Did The Bucs Make The Correct Move Firing Todd Bowles?

  61. JD Says:

    Toilet Bowles is SAFE! X > ||

  62. mg Says:

Loony Tunes now playing in Tampa.
Bowles should have been fired after the debacle in Pittsburg.

  63. HC Grover Says:

Mabe the insiders know Bowels is to be fired?

  64. Jack Clark Says:

Okay, we fired Byron Leftwich, and I am holding the “Scaredy Cat” Todd Bowels accountable for our Offense.

Todd Bowels please don’t embarrass us again 🙏

RIP no risk it no biscuit 🪦

  65. Jack Clark Says:

Our entire franchise is led by a fraidy cat named Todd Bowels smh 🤦‍♂️

  66. Pewter Power Says:

    People actually said no? Wow

  67. SB~LV Says:

I won’t be able to handle Bowles next year
I don’t see him as an effective head coach

  68. mg Says:

Matt Patricia is up for grabs.

  69. HC Grover Says:

Flash Poll…did Bucs make the right move by not firing Todd Bowels?

  70. Rod Munch Says:

They should have fired Leftwich after that Steelers game, if they did so, the Bucs would still be in the playoffs.

  71. Heath Hunt Says:

Don’t feel like Byron was anything special or innovative so getting a new scheme and fresh approach is the right call. However, it is very unlikely the next OC has as productive of tenure that BL did.

  72. Jerry Says:

Why would you want to fire our Super Bowl winning, Defensive minded, head coach? Is it because he has a losing record? Or is it because his name is not Bill Belichick?

    ———

No one wants a defensive-minded coach in today’s NFL. Its not a popular philosophy right now. Everyone wants a creative, innovative, and aggressive offensive-minded coach.

And if Bowles picks an OC that focuses on a conservative approach, and it doesn’t yield wins quickly, the pitch forks going to come out really fast. That kind of OC is going to have to deliver results fast. It’s why the Bucs OC is likely a very unattractive job.

  73. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I am so tired of people saying Bowles did not pick his own coaches.

He had complete say in the defensive coaching staff!

And really…why would anyone in their right mind want him touching an offense?

    Replace the man!

  74. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

A good, young OC won’t come with Bowles on the hotseat.

    Monken had his chance.
