Brace Yourself: Bucs Easily Can Be Both A Loser And NFC South Champion

December 12th, 2022

“Embarrassing” offense.

With this worthless, punchless offense, Joe is starting to wonder how the Bucs can survive and win the rotten NFC South.

After watching the debacle in NoCal personally, Joe doesn’t think the Bucs have a prayer of outscoring Joey B and the Bengals and Joe isn’t holding his breath about beating the Cardinals, Stinking Panthers (who are playing decent ball) or the Dixie Chicks — with Atlanta out for revenge for how they got beat by the Bucs earlier this season in Tampa.

Jeff Kerr of CBS Sports advises Bucs fans to brace themselves. Oh, Kerr thinks the Bucs will win the NFC South, but not with a winning record.

This loss [to the 49ers] was embarrassing for a Tom Brady-led team that can’t get anything consistently going on offense — and they got the Bengals next week. Tampa Bay needs to finish 3-1 to get a winning record, and the only reason the Buccaneers may get it is because they close against the Cardinals, Panthers and Falcons.

This team isn’t a Super Bowl contender through 14 weeks. They’re fortunate to play in the NFC South.

This Bucs offense is a joke. That’s all there is to it. It hasn’t improved since the Bucs opened the season in Dallas but for one game when the Bucs traveled to Bavaria.

If anything, you can argue this offense is worse than when it opened the season. Outside of Chris Godwin, who was coming off knee surgery, and three rookies, name anyone that’s improved on offense.

Go ahead, Joe’s waiting.

Whenever we score more than 21 we lose.(chiefs &ravens)
So Bowles obviously doesn’t want to go above 21 anytime. What clowns. Last year we went over 30 points 10 times in the regular season , this year one time. I loves seeing big webster up there talking about points.” You just have to score more points than the other team”.
    Bring back Arians!!!!!

this season does cast a bit of a bad shadow on the previous 2 seasons…

and an OC that is playing “eeny meeny mini moe” with coach BA’s call sheet is simply wild

  3. adam from ny Says:

i know everyone wants to tear the bucs a new azzh*le for the next 2 to 3 days…

but this game from a bucs perspective must be put in the past asap because we have a huge game this sunday vs a superbowl contender, in the bengals…

and if we take a beating at ray jay on sunday, the team might not bounce back for the so called “final 3 easier games”…

this bengals game should be treated like a playoff game…

  4. Leighroy Says:

    Maybe they’re just playing possum?

  5. steele Says:

Yes. It is still possible for this clearly bad team, which is worthy of being blown up, to stumble into the playoffs. But that would merely reinforce the stubbornness and arrogance on the part of Bowles and Left. “We still good”. Ask a tired Brady to pull it out yet again (if he isn’t physically shot for the season and sick of being asked), and hope the others magically wake up from their zombie state.

  6. Anonymous Says:

Bench Tom Brady and see what happens. Every player will know their value going forward real fast. Tom is playing scares because of OL….and don’t want to hold on the ball too long ….so plays has limited options. Defense scheme is bad and inconsistent. A young QB can takes the hits and wait for options to open. New era of mobile QB is here. Everyone is accountable including Tom Brady. He should remove himself if he is not playing to his expectations. Unload all the losers including coaches and rebuild it.

  7. DungyDance Says:

Not so sure we even win the division. Panthers play the Steelers, Lions, us, and the Saints. Lions playing well, but all the others should be wins for them. Can’t see us going 3-1 to match.

  8. FrontFour Says:

Don’t see us winning the division. We don have the talent or momentum. All going in the wrong direction. Time to look at the rebuild.

  9. Byron Leftwich’s gym teacher Says:

    We suck.

There is no hope for this season.

We are undisciplined and Brady looks to be playing scared/poorly

  10. SufferingSince76 Says:

Devin White meant to say they won’t win another game.

  11. Anglican Says:

It’s pretty evident that BL is not an offensive coordinator. He’s not even a coach. Why do you think he was not chosen for a coach. The same reason TB was ran out of jets coaching spot is he is not a head coach. He doesn’t know how to coach. Joe how far do you think the glaciers will go before they can him. Another thing to keep in mind is who will take the place if he was to fire TB and BL During the season. There’s nobody else usually they turn it over to the defensive coordinator or the offensive coordinator but if they fire both who would take the spot of it for the remainder of the season. I wonder how long the glaciers will put up with this embarrassing it’s going to really hurt. It’s very obvious they have not a clue. This is the worst I’ve seen it since the ’80s.

  12. BucsFanSince76 Says:

Bad offensive line and bad defensive line-end of story-thanks much Jason Licht.

  13. NEfan Says:

Ya that’s it, all these players all went bad at once. BA did this to YOUR team Bucs fans. He knew these coaches capabilities, his own selfish want to be the first coach to lead a diverse staff has destroyed this once power house team into a league laughing stock. He choose the WRONG guys. His choices are destroying the reputation of many long time elite players. I hope when the Bucs decide to publicly honor him he gets to share in the boos the team is getting due to choices. You S@$K BA!!!

  14. Jackson Lini Says:

Where are all the talking sports heads demanding that Byron Leftwich should be given a head coaching position? Whew…that is Jacksonville telling themselves they dodged a bullet in not hiring Leftwich as their Head Coach! This guy has to go! Once fired, I doubt he will ever be an offensive coordinator position again!

  15. HC Grover Says:

Trade all the players for draft picks and fire the whole staff top to bottom. The Great Reset is here. Bring back the Orange Men Uniforms for reset seasons.

  16. Cobraboy Says:

Do NOT be surprised if this team loses out.

Clearly, the Jax interview was a Rooney requirement. Who in their right mind would hire that guy to lead a team?

  17. Cobraboy Says:

@adam: the Bengals will seal-club this pathetic excuse of an NFL team.

Bengals by 28+, and the team formally quits on these coaching jokes.

  18. JimmyfromNY Says:

Play trask? Brady playing scared? Do you guys understand? You have one win without him. He has zero time to make the proper read and even worse the receivers can’t get open. Your number one guy gets locked down by number three in four corners. The other team knows the plays every single series . It’s miraculous they’re even in the situation they are in right now. Cant run the ball , no separation and an imbecile calling plays. You are going find out real fast next year what life is like without him. 3,wins season!! It’s miraculous they’re even in the situation in right now. You trolls will find out real fast next year. What life is like without him. Absolutely insane bench Tom Brady a play Kyle Trask can’t make this stuff up. I’m convinced you’re just cross from other teams that have been tormented by Brady. You can’t be real Bucs man I don’t believe it. You can’t be the clueless . Mac Jones, Justin Fields, Trevor Lawrence, theybare I’m competent organization with . And they’re all average or below . Not even comparable to what Bradys doing this year. And you guys are calling for Kyle Trask who will be out there f the league in two years or at best holding a clipboard

  19. nick houllis Says:

Nick THE OPTIMIST here, for those who dont think the Bucs will go to the playoffs, you’re just feeling the effects of a loss after a great feeling of last weeks win. Deserve it or not, the NFC South is a disaster, and the Bucs are in the drivers seat of getting a home playoff game. regardless of who panthers and falcons play, they are STILL the panthers and Falcons. and remember, Tristan wirfs will be back which makes us better. IF big IF we can get that Ryan Jensen back for one or two games BEFORE the playoffs, could make a big difference in the outcome of that home playoff game

  20. 1#bucsfan Says:

Disgusted joe. Why isn’t leftwich fired. What the hell is going on. Worst game ever and that’s including the lost decade. This team has so much talent to play like that. Heads need to roll now.

  21. Tucker Says:

I don’t see it even if Ryan Jensen comes back he has been in a boot the entire season you think he has the stamina to just be plugged back in that is hard to envision. This team has no confidence just isn’t executing and the coaching is bad it’s hard to see them winning another game seeing Mike Evans barking back at tom really looks like a team that’s done.

  22. DBS Says:

Sorry. I do not see Jensen back this year. And he may never be back with the Bucs. To much hiding information about that knee injury.

  23. Bucfan1988 Says:

Don’t have to worry about winning the division cuz THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN.
Panthers gonna represent the NFC South, mark my words!!

And they will after firing their HC, and trading McCaffery to 49rs…

Tells you how PATHETIC of a coaching staff we have now.

You gonna see obvious plays this coming weekend where players have totally shut down & checked out. They done with this staff…

What an embarrassment to be a Buc fan this year with all this talent we still have.

  24. orlbucfan Says:

Mebbe arthritis almighty will call that much-needed team meeting and announce his retirement. Naaaaaaaaa, too big of an egotistical chickensh1t. Shame, too, cos the Bucs are the best team in the NFC Sucks.

  25. ChrisBuc23 Says:

This guys play calling is horrible and the coaching staff looks lost and emotionless out there. No motivation no fire no nothing. Injuries don’t help either smh they better snap out of this.

  26. Mike Johnson Says:

No tea with a losing record deserves to be in any playoffs. Its simply looks ugly. Thats all.

  27. Winky Says:

All they can do is commit to the run, see if they can somehow find some balance.

I don’t care if they’re down points or not. Just run the damn ball.

The dynamic now just doesn’t work or serve, particularly with Brady.

Imagine if Brady were on the niners. He’d be crushing it

  28. Infomeplease Says:

The GM won’t fire anyone before the seasons end. Of course by then, he will have to go too! Jason, up until now you have done pretty well. Good luck to you in your next position!

  29. Nicky666 Says:

I see us barely making the playoffs – I don’t see us winning a playoff game – as always GO BUCS!
