Bozo and Lefty got their votes in. 1 for Bad Luck and 1 for Other.

  2. Craig Says:

    UGH

  3. tampabayallday Says:

The defense was at least competitive and didn’t allow a blowout. It’s pathetic how bad the offense is and the play calling is on Leftwich. Just abandoned the play-action and we crumbled.

  4. Rod Munch Says:

The same Gainesville IP address clearing their cache to vote 12 times. Pitiful.

  5. DoooshLaRue Says:

No time outs taken at a critical time.
BL sucks, but that’s in the HC.

  6. Rod Munch Says:

Normally would be easy to just blame Leftwich for being a sorry sack of s—.

But Bowles, with his cowarderly world class stupid clock management and punting from the 38, he’s make the race competitive.

  7. SB~LV Says:

A bit of All of the Above
OK…. What was the story of BA resigning?
Let’s not just skip over that bizarre event and timing

  8. SOGGY Says:

Lovie without a beard…sad but true

  9. gp Says:

The brownies beat us, fair and square.
    Nuff said.

  10. Evo Says:

Why is no one blaming Brady for all the missed throws?

  11. D-Rome Says:

I couldn’t watch the game but I listened to it. Bowles’ clock management reminded me of the way Lovie Smith used to coach games. Gutless.

  12. orlbucfan Says:

Naturally, there’s always heinz57 commenters on here. The true Bucs fans avoid it.

  13. Caleb Says:

Bowles needs to get more blame for the offense. The conservative playcalling has his stench all over it.

  14. Allbuccedup Says:

At least the hapless Saints are coming to town

  15. Rod Munch Says:

D-Rome – Dirk did the same garbage as well. It’s a trait with loser headcoaches.

  16. Allbuccedup Says:

Looks like 8-9 will win the division!

  17. BigMacAttack Says:

I really thought Todd Bowlesack would have been a better head coach this time. The Peter Principle gotteem again. And the idiot Falcons lost too so our sucky team is still in first. Unbelievable how the Bucs coaches and Tom Brady snatched defeat from the jaws of victory 😂. The defense did all they could but they can only do so much and Bowles always asks them for too much because his OC, QB and offense can’t deliver in the clutch. Brady should have stayed retired instead of tarnishing his legacy.

  18. Rod Munch Says:

Here’s why I always liked Winston, no matter what, he never quit, and went down swinging, didn’t care if he threw an INT or two at the end of the game trying to get back into it, he was going fight until the clock hit zero. Unlike a player like Derek Carr who literally has thrown the ball out of bounds on 4th and goal with zero time left on the clock, he was worried more about his stats than scoring points or winning the game.

Derek Carr and Bowles both are similar, they’re losers, who might have had a nice season here or there, but are gutless cowards.

Give me a gunslinger, who keeps throwing the ball, who says no riskit, no biscuit, and you can have your boring dullard headcoaches who think it’s 1977 still.

  19. NEfan Says:

Oralbuc voted 45 times for Brady. This is ALL on Bowles, this was a pass first O he did the 360 and went run first, conservative approach. I never saw a problem with scoring 31pts a game. But the real culprit is NOT on the poll and that is BA for force feeding these clowns on the Bucs.

I really thought Todd Bowlesack would have been a better head coach this time.

    ——–

Today is indefensible on behalf of Bowles. But I will say if he wasn’t handcuffed by having to have Leftwich as his OC, I think the team is much better, probably 7-4. Then again, make Arians the HC, and look at all our loses, and tell me this team wouldn’t be 10-1 right now.

Brady has never had to overcome this level of bad coaching, and I’m not sure he knows what to do.

  21. D-Rome Says:

Todd Bowles is not only ruining his career prospects he’s also ruining every coach that is on their staff, at least their future prospects. Every future employer is going to see their time with the Bucs during the 2022 season and see a losing record while having the GOAT on their roster.

I was firmly in Bowles corner as a head coach until that delay of game penalty in the 4th quarter. Bowles has an old school mentality on winning games. It’s not the 1990s! The rules strongly favor offense in this league. To punt the ball in that situation and expect the defense to get a stop is not playing to win the game. If the Bucs went for it on 4th and 2 and they failed I think the majority of us would have understood it was the right call to make in that situation. Keep the ball in Brady’s hands. If they rolled Succup out there and he missed the FG we would have understood, at least most of us. To play the game of field position is cowardly.

The Glazers should clean house at the end of the season. Todd Bowles as a head coach is not a winner. Most people in the NFL are not cut out to be a head coach. He’s a dark room guy, the kind of guy who sits and watches film and schemes. He’s not a head coach and he’s killing the professional prospects of his staff. Bucs should clean house and hire Rich Bissacia.

  22. AmauryGuzman Says:

Todd Bowles without a question. Having one of the best QBs and you waste all these precious seconds off the clock.

  23. BigMacAttack Says:

The Saints will play their best game against the Bucs, they always do. I wouldn’t bet on the Buc team I saw today.

  24. HC Grover Says:

Bowles is Coach Sluggo and the fans are Mr. Bill….Oh Nooooo.

  25. Nater Says:

Leftwitch is trash. Game should have out of reach for the browns midway through the 4th quarter. Too bad Brady and his ego had to run Arians out.

  26. RGA Says:

Todd Bowles is a good defensive coordinator period.
He is a terrible head coach just as he was with the Jets. Arians and Licht set the table for him this season with a team loaded with talent. He certainly appears to be a lousy leader of men and a head coach not in tune with common sense decisions in the heat of battle. Apparently he had no sense to call a time out at the end of regulation with three in his back pocket and adequate time to move into field goal range. That’s a sign of a man not tuned in to what’s happening on the field, I’d guess most television viewers were screaming for a timeout as I was in hopes of a couple plays to get in field goal range.
I have no doubt Bowles is a fine coordinator, head coach?

  27. Rod Munch Says:

For anyone who doesn’t think Leftwich is to blame for the God awful offense… Let me present this evidence.

In 2018, Leftwich’s only other season without Arians, as the Cardinals OC, that offense was #32 in the NFL.

Leftwich stinks at his job. Arians said publicly (mostly in 2019) that he had to constantly get on Leftwich to make sure he opened things up and didn’t get too conservative and predictable. We’re seeing, again, what Leftwich is like without Arians.

Leftwich was a failed QB and thinks you win by playing 1.3yards up the gut and a cloud of dust football.

Bowles was given Leftwich when this job was thrust upon him, and Bowles is as involved with this offense as much as Gruden was involved with the defense in 2002 – and for those newbies, that means he’s not involved at all.

  28. Tye Says:

Bowles because he had several weeks to fire his boy Lefty, extra days because of bye week to prepare for the Browns, had the option to go for it on 4thand 2 and played as a coward….. Its Bowels that is the major problem!

  29. BigMacAttack Says:

I love Rich Bissacia. I’d like to see him get a shot. I’d throw a truckload of cash at Sean Peyton. If Peyton was calling plays today it would have been an easy win. Defense held up its end today.

  30. Mike Johnson Says:

Bucs fans are some of the worst. Not once have I heard; the Bucs got beat by a better team? The Browns played hard, fast and gritty. They deserved to win. Bowles and lefty did not over or underthrow passes, they did not miss blocks or get gashed with 20 yrs runs. That be players. Scapegoating will do you no good. Bucs need better players. Congrats to the Browns. They played like they wanted to win.

  31. Tye Says:

BigMac – I have seen that idea floated around a lot…
I wonder if Payton would coach a team in the same division as the Saints and play them twice a year….

  32. D-Rome Says:

Scapegoating will do you no good. Bucs need better players. Congrats to the Browns. They played like they wanted to win.

Congrats to the Browns. They were coached like they wanted to win.

  33. SC Bucs Fan Says:

The only reason not to fire Bowles is Leftwich would take over

  34. SC Bucs Fan Says:

The only reason not to fire Bowles is they would appoint Leftwich

  35. Jeff Says:

Bucs needs to fire the entire coaching staff and go all out for Sean Payton.

  36. AmauryGuzman Says:

This season feels lost considering none of these on top are scary. Anyway management failed this team by hiring this incompetent coach and his OC.

  37. Rod Munch Says:

BigMacAttack – Payton is under contract with the Saints, he’s not going to any team in the NFC South, and whoever gets him is going to pay a ton in terms of draft picks.

  38. AmauryGuzman Says:

Rod Munch I would take Jim Harbaugh if he wants to come back to the pros

  39. AmauryGuzman Says:

Feels like a wasted season. Still don’t know why Bowles was qualified for this job. I can’t believe i miss BA.

  40. Rod Munch Says:

AmauryGuzman – At this point I’d take just about anyone who is remotely competent. But Brady is gone next year, and this team is going to be in cap hell and with Trask at QB, no coach with any prospects or choices is going to want this job.

So short of making changes tonight, which isn’t going to happen, the Bucs are just going to be stuck with these losers running the team for the foreseeable future.

Next year, without Brady and a lot of vets as the Bucs clean up their cap mess, these dummies Leftwich and Bowles will be assets as they’re proven losers and can help the Bucs secure the #1 overall draft pick.

  41. mark2001 Says:

Bruce is partially to blame. He knew Brady had one more year. And rather than be the HC one more year, he uses the team… Bucs fans…the Glazers… as recipients of his grand experiment. It has failed miserably. Bowles is the same HC that had the job in NY. You screwed us Bruce…this team…this franchise. Thanks for the SB victory, but time to make yourself and Bowles, scarce.

  42. Wes Says:

My vote for ‘Other’ could be for the Offense as a whole. But I think it’s actually for ‘Everyone’

  43. AmauryGuzman Says:

I think this team is good enough to win another super bowl but they don’t have the coaching in place this year. What a sham. All these guys should be gone.

  44. Rod Munch Says:

OMG, I had completely forgotten that next week is a MNF game…

Can they flex that to 1pm on Sunday, please? It’s one thing to watch a completely incompetently coached team hidden away on a Sunday afternoon, it’s another to be spotlighted all week then have to listen to a telecast where they’re say, “Leftwich is starting to get this figured out” after they finally get a FG in the 3rd quarter while down 14-3.

  45. Architek Says:

This coaching staff clearly misses Arians presence and leadership on the sidelines!!!

  46. Rod Munch Says:

AmauryGuzman – yeah, I’ve made the case, look at all the Bucs loses, and the only game they were truly out of, where I don’t think head coaching mattered that much was the KC game.

If you go game by game, and look at the loses, tell me this team isn’t 10-1 right now with Arians as the headcoach.

The NFL is really up for grabs this season, so if the Bucs can just get hot at the end of the year, they’d have a chance to win it all.

But not with these loser headcoaches who can’t even beat the Steelers, Panthers or Browns.

  47. beano Says:

    Go U.S.! Go España!

  48. AmauryGuzman Says:

Rod Munch unfortunately it will do them in. Heck if they make the playoffs with crappy coaching staff that’s a testament to this crappy division and the players finding a way.

  49. DBS Says:

They are not making any coaching changes this season. They will not even let Brady call the offense. So ride it out What happens the rest of the year like it or not happens. All anyone can do is hope these clowns are done after this season. Everyone knew this was going to happen. Bowles was not going to change from what he was with the Jets. Leftnut will be Leftnut is not going to change. The way I see it we will be lucky to finish 7-10

  50. Jdog Says:

The philosophy has changed to don’t risk it which is equivalent to playing not to lose. The results speak for volumes…

  51. Da Bucs Guy Says:

The Bucs coaches had two weeks to game plan the Browns. TWO WHOLE WEEKS!

  52. AmauryGuzman Says:

17 points i still can’t grasp that. The offense had 4 possessions to close this game out and couldn’t do it. That’s why it’s difficult for me to blame this defense.

  53. Anonymous Says:

Worst coaching staff since Leeman Bennett and Ray Perkins. Afraid to go at 4th and 2 from the Brown’s 37. If I was the Glazers I would make a change just for that not to even speak on the miss use of the timeouts. What ever happened to No risk it No biscuit??? Definitely was Arians philosophy not Bowles.

Ive seen virtually every Buc game ever and never have I seen such a miss use of talent. I originally thought it was Leftwich but this has Bowles fingerprints all over it. Clean house of this pathetic coaching staff.

  54. Cometowin2 Says:

It’s a shame that people cannot see that these coaches are incompetent.

  56. Your Mom Says:

Joe was the only reason the Glazers agreed to Bowles as a head coach was if BA would stay on? How did they ever trust that a guy who loses 5 games for every 3 he wins was going to be able to succeed?

  57. Tampabuscsbro Says:

The 6% that voted Tom are the Jay miss shills.

    ——-

I really don’t think so. I was one of the biggest Jameis backers here, at the same time I had no issue with dumping him for Brady, because he’s Brady – but the idiot saying dump Winston for Bridgewater, those are the truly deranged people.

Anywho, it’s not the Winston backers doing it, it’s the Florida fanbois who think Trask is a 1st ballot HOFer who is being kept on the bench by Brady. Meanwhile, Trask can’t even beat out Gabbert for the backup job.

  59. D-Rok Says:

As a coach, you have Zeus at QB, the GOAT, who has won games time and time again, and you don’t give him a chance by calling timely time-outs and let him work his magic?

Totally on the HC, and partially the OC for lack of calling a TO. Brady could’ve called his own TO, but I imagine he was formulating his next play, thinking his coaches could handle clock management, thinking they were competent and had his back so he could worry about his next play.

    Geez. So obvious.

  60. Rod Munch Says:

    D-Rok..

    Who to blame…

    50% Leftwich
    49% Bowles
    1% the trash field

If Leftwich does his job, the Bucs are up by 21 in the 4th and the game is over. Leftwich kept it close with his awful play calling, the Bowles compounded it with some terrible decisions.

Also that field was complete garbage. It wasn’t just Davis falling down, it was a slow, sluggish field where guys were slipping and getting hurt all day.

In any case the entire city of Cleveland should be removed from the face of the earth (that’s unrelated to today, just a long held belief).

  61. Matt Says:

    Eagles up 7, 2:30 left, 4th and 3 on the 37

Nearly same situation as the Bucs

    Did they punt?

    Nope

    Kicked FG and won game

  62. Erik Hesson | Fine Artist | Founder of UniqueModernArt.com Says:

Everyone responsible for the NON-TIMEOUT with 24-sec keft is to blame!!!!

Otherwise, we get a last second fg to win, I know it!!! And we would still have Wirfs!!!!!

  65. SOEbuc Says:

DONOVAN SMITH IS GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!! Been saying it for a very long time. How the hell has he got top tier LT contracts. Needs to be cut or see if someone will pick him up next year.

  66. MadMax Says:

Lol….thats all you can do is laugh at it! I just got home……

And the geniuses in charge wont do a thing about it….is what it is, its gotta be by design….so lets get ready for another 3-5 years of suckaneers and high draft picks and hating these coaches….like I said, NOTHING will be done!!!!

Congrats asleep at the wheel dummies!!!!!

Ive got it all figured out….a long snapper with our first pick at probably around the 15th position….and then two water boys who only speak “yes” in the dumbed down version that only Bowles and Byron can comprehend!!!

  67. #1bucsfan Says:

Thoughts– Sean Payton and Brady would like to work together. Sign Payton now..if you wait you will be competing with at least 3 other teams. To get him now get a commitment from Brady to stick around for next year. So not only does Brady help you get Payton but if he’s not the roster the cap hit ranges from a low of $23mm to potentially $35mm. Bucs have to sign him ..so move now , lock Payton up , lock Brady up ( Brady knows that Payton’s play calling will emphasize his skill set and cover up any diminishing skills) plus the combination will bring swagger back to the franchise to help lure key free agents. If you play the long game you move now but can you get him ? and you might lose the locker room of a team currently in first in it’s division. A dilemma….

  68. HC Grover Says:

So Bucs lose to Stanks, Niners and Bengals. They are then 5-9 looking at Cards, Panthers and Falcons. By then the team will be shattered in to pieces. Miss the playoffs…..Then this miserable season will be over. Any player that can flee this coach staff will be off like a rocket.

  69. Jonny Says:

Special teams may not be THE reason, but let’s not forget our STs has been performing like trash as well.
