Falcons Lose, Bucs Expand Lead In NFC South

November 11th, 2022

Todd Bowles

The Bucs’ division lead has expanded. It’s a narrow lead. But a lead is a lead.

By virtue of the Stinking Panthers going ground and pound last night and clubbing the Dixie Chicks 25-15, the Bucs are now in possession of first place in the sad NFC South.

The Stinking Panthers (3-7) built up a 13-3 halftime lead on Atlanta (4-6) and never looked back. Smartly, with the immortal P.J. Walker at quarterback, the Stinking Panthers stuck to the ground. Receiver Laviska Shenault’s early 41-yard run seemed to be the back-breaker.

Bucs-killer D’Onta Foreman hammered Atlanta for 130 yards rushing toting the rock 31 times.

Now can the Bucs (4-5) take advantage and build up more separation from Atlanta on Sunday? The Bucs own the tiebreaker edge on Atlanta thanks to beating them in October.

Amazing how the Panthers got rid of their coach, and are playing better. Plus they traded their so called star players like McCafe, and his replacement, a cast off back runs for a buck thirty. Just goes to show how a good coach can get more out of less.

Bucs players are probably more interested in sightseeing than playing football. Seattle takes this game because their players want to win. I don’t know that of the Bucs.

No worries, they’ll be tied after the German Debacle. This team has no future.

imagine the bucs go 7-10 and win the division…

    and back into the playoffs…

    and then win the superbowl

Panthers 3 wins are all against division rivals……they are making their wins count.

Loser teams built to lose fire their coaches or assistants in-season. It would be stupid to do that this year. The Panthers are 3-7 despite David Tepper wanting the team to lose as many games as possible to secure the #1 overall pick.

You think the Colts or Panthers are going to play harder to make a playoff run now that their head coach is fired?

The Falcons may not win many more games this year. Mariota looked like the Marcus of old last night and the ATL D has collapsed. I know the Bucs are not all that good either but the ATL really has found amazing ways to lose games like the season opener against the Aints. Simply put, the Bucs may suck, I have said it numerous times but those who are fans of the ATL and the Aints are saying the exact same thing. The Falcoholic posters in the ATL are predicting 4-13, 5-12 or 6-11; kind of like many of us Buc fans who are doing the same thing as are Saint fans as well. In a nutshell; this division could be a race to 7-10 to host a playoff game and even the Panthers are in the hunt given that they are 3-1 in division right now.

How, amazing, Buccaneers still in good shape!!!

Man, it’s sad that the NFC South is in such bad shape. Just a few short years ago, it was one of the elite divisions in the NFL.

  10. Winky Says:

It would be funny if the Panthers take the division.

In Germany, we will be the favored “Home Team”. I just read that over 400,000 German Fans waited in line to have a chance to see Brady play!
We will surely have a home field advantage, and I think we can beat the Seahawks.
Especially with the return of Hicks wh6o will surely be double teamed, leaving Vita Vea and our other D Linemen free to wreak havoc on Geno Smith.
The return of Winfield will really help to contain DK Metcalf as well.
Call me an optimist, but I see us coming home from Germany with another win!
    LFG Bucs!

Lots of chatter about White replacing PL Fournette. Yes Lenny is not as impactful at the line buts let’s be honest about the lack of blocking for him. End zone cameras show outright whiffs on blocks. There is no where to run. Lenny is an inside guy. Agree white will bring some outside presence but the LINE HAS TO BLOCK.

Watch ByeMoron make Seattle look like the 1979 Steelers.

    Boobery gonna boob.

The Bucs will win the Super Bowl with a 7-10 season record. Not!

The bucs are the best and we’ll win the super bowl
