Bucs In Prime Position … For The Wild Card

November 7th, 2022

Yeah, it’s that bad in the NFC.

If the season ended today, the Bucs would be NFC South champs with a 4-5 record and the final Wild Card slot would go to the 49ers at 4-4. The only other four-win teams in the NFC are Atlanta (4-5) and the Commandos (4-5).

One major wild card tiebreaker is conference record. If two teams tie for the final of three wild card slots, and they haven’t played head-to-head, then conference record breaks the tie.

The 49ers are 4-2 against the NFC. The Bucs are 4-2 after beating the Rams yesterday, and Atlanta is 3-3 with a loss to the Bucs but a win against the 49ers. Washington is 2-4 in the conference.

Crazy times in the NFC, where the Rams and Packers officially stink and Andy Dalton has parked Jameis Winston on the slimy Saints’ bench.

The 49ers host the Chargers (5-3) on Sunday — and the Bucs in Week 14.

Don’t start talking p-p-playoffs. Not until a lot of work is done and changes still need to be made. Were it not for Mr. Brady and some key defensive sequences, this still was an ugly performance. Bowels and especially Leftwich remain squarely on the bubble.

Be afraid of the Seahawks. They are surprising everyone, playing free, and they are physical.

  2. HC Grover Says:

Take the cuffs off of Brady and turn him loose.

  3. BucU Says:

Bowles and Leftwich can thank their lucky stars they’re still employed today. Only because Brady became Brady for a minute. Literally.
    Thes

So much will be fixed when Jensen returns

I couldn’t believe how Donald blew up whoever he was against every time last night. If Brady didn’t get rid of the ball, Donald was there. I feel like our guards and center should be better than that.

It will be fixed when they get rid of BL it will be fixed when they get over their stubborness of trying to run the ball so much they are literally the worst rushing team in the NFL the answer is not to run more it’s to run playaction more and run less stop being so predictable. This coaching staff is killing the confidence of this team by having them try to do something they are bad at over and over again the team does not believe in what you are trying to do, do something different for God sake. There are alot of teams with bad olines who scheme around their weaknesses this team hammers it’s head into the wall with their weaknesses expecting different results it’s maddening.

It was a travesty that Todd didn’t throw the challenge flag on the camarda punt what a day that guy had absolute stud.

  9. Dooley Says:

Chill, we got the ball 6 times in the first half and only scored 6 point off those possessions. Came out flat in the 3rd quarter (again!) and our first drive of the 2nd half ended in 43 seconds. The entire 3rd quarter Brady went 4-10 for 10 yards, so the stalling out on offense needs to be corrected still. Still struggling to score >2 TDs a game and sustain drives. Our hurry up, while it seems it’s more effective which has been evident since the loss to GB, still has the potential to fall flat and put the defense right back on the field. Maybe, wait for a win where our punter isn’t receiving the game ball in order to start talking postseason as this win wasn’t a cure-all for all the problems we’re still having between the lines.

  10. Jack Sparrow Says:

“Fire Bowles and Leftwich” is still trending. This does not cure the incompetency of those 2 coaches. Brady saved their a$$ for another week.

  11. Pewter Power Says:

If the offense doesn’t wake up the 49’s game is an easy L

Anybody else see the CBS graphic that said Jensen “out for the season”?

    Is that official?

  13. Stanglassman Says:

Fox graphic. Yeah I think it was BS. I took to Google during the game and there was nothing to back it up. Many recent articles talking about his return expected soon, sometime this month.

  14. Stanglassman Says:

*CBS was correct. Romo does a great job. Researchers F-ed that one up. Jensen will return soon.

that embrace on the sidelines by Leftworst of Brady says it all .. Brady saved lefty job..

I agree about the Seahawks, after all they are the NFC West First Place team.
Yes, they are very physical, extremely well coached, and talented.
Geno Smith their QB has found new life out in Seattle, and they have a big dangerous receiver named DK Metcalf who can easily take over a game.
But in Germany, we will be the Fans Favorite because of Tom Brady who is known worldwide.
Plus, when people in Germany go on vacation, they come here to Florida, not to Seattle!
So, at least we will have the German Crowd on our side!
