Antoine Winfield Cleared

Flew to Munich.
Antonio Winfield has been cleared for takeoff.
This evening the Bucs hopped a plane destined for Munich, Germany. They’ll probably get in around 4 a.m. Munich time and are scheduled to have practice Friday afternoon Munich time (or early in the morning Tampa time.)
Yes, Joe will be there.
And guess who was on the plane? That would be Winfield, the Pro Bowl safety. He had missed the past two games due to a concussion during the Stinking Panthers’ loss. Winfield participated fully in practice this afternoon, and just as the Bucs were about to take off, Jenna Laine of ESPN learned Winfield cleared concussion protocol and got the green light.
Man, what great news that is!
The Bucs get arguably their best defensive player back after two weeks against a surprisingly stout Seahawks team.

This is very good news…….Keano Neal did a decent job replacing AWJ…..but AWJ is a superior player….

Not even arguably. He IS our best defensive player. He isn’t one dimensional. Elite at playing the box, tackling, technique, coverage, knows his assignments. He and Wirfs are the best players on the team, and best players at their position in the league

Our running game compared to other teams is embarrassing. Has anyone challenged the offensive linemen. They’re soft and have no heart. Goedeke was awful, but Hainsey hasn’t been good. I would say he’s been average and sometimes below average in games. That’s not good enough. Leftwich and Bowles have been under fire, but i place a lot of blame on Licht. He should’ve brought in some veterans to compete for the C and LG positions. The golden boy Hainsey who’s been anointed by Licht was just handed the C job without any competition.
