Point spreads courtesy of Joe’s good friends at BetMGM. You may follow various point spreads courtesy of VegasInsider.com.

UNCLE IRA

Cardinals
at Carolina -1

Carolina’s underpublicized defense will make life difficult for Kyler Murray.

Denver
at Las Vegas -2.5

A breakout game for Russell Wilson as Las Vegas tumbles again.

Los Angeles Chargers -6
at Houston

Houston has been surprisingly competitive and the Chargers are beaten up.

JOE

New York Jets
at Pittsburgh -3.5

The Steelers rebound at home with strong defense and, for a change, Mitch Trubisky looks like an NFL quarterback. Meanwhile, after the loss, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin asks his counterpart Robert Saleh if he’d like a receipt.

Washington
at Dallas -3

The Washington woes for good guy Riverboat Ron Rivera continue. Joe is stealing the following from Michael Lombardi: It’s been two years since Daniel Snyder has fired someone and he has to be having a bad case of the skakes by now.

New England
at Green Bay -9.5

Brian Hoyer vs. the Packers defense in Lambeau Field? No chance.

Bob The Bookie (Joe’s old college buddy)

Cleveland -1
at Atlanta

Atlanta battles every week and this time they have the better QB for a change.

Jacksonville
at Philadelphia -6.5

The Jags are not ready to make this leap. Eagles are healthy and undefeated, a dangerous combo.

Tennessee
at Indianapolis -3.5

Titans are a bad football team. It’s really that simple. The Colts are on the rise and they’ll have plenty of juice in this rivalry game.

Last week’s record: Ira 2-1; Joe 1-2; Bob The Bookie 3-0.

2022 Season Record: Ira 4-5; Joe 2-7; Bob The Bookie, 6-3.
