Tom Brady’s Message To The World

October 18th, 2022

Hey, if Tom Brady’s making thoughtful proclamations on social media, then Joe’s certainly going to share them here.

Here’s what Brady posted on Instagram last night.

Football is hard.
We’re not playing like we are capable.
We’re in it together.
We’ll turn it around. #GoBucs

    Suh.

  2. August 1976 Buc Says:

Can Tom play O line too? lol,
and I hear the Bucs have an opening at Offensive Coordinator lol at least by the looks of last Sunday, the position was vacant.

    GO BUCS!!!!

  3. KingLDavid54 Says:

The Bucs are currently nothing but paper champions

  4. HC Grover Says:

lose the bowles prevent game plans. he worked all summer on these stupid plans and he thinks they are great. i doubt he will change them much. stop blaming everything but bowles.

  5. robert Says:

as long as the vacations are over by Brady, they can turn it around. provided he is in house working the details and ready to take the reins when it comes to changing plays at the line, or flat out ripping up BL gameplan. We would have never made it to the SB if not for him taking over later in the season. The way he calls and runs the offense is a 180 from BL.

  6. alton green Says:

#8 says’ you nailed it. Todd needs to go to Walmart and buy some intensity. Right now he’s another Ben Stein, (at best)

  7. Tbbucs3 Says:

While we’re spreading the blame around ….Jason Licht needs as much blame as TB BL and Brady…..Licht (once again) tried to fix something that wasn’t broken on the defensive side of the football by replacing SUH and JPP with an injury prone Aiken Hicks and young inexperienced players.

Not to mention the other free agent flops Russel Gage, Julio and Kyle Rudolp, etch. Also why did the Bucs pass on signing another vet on OLine and trust a rookie Luke Goekedee who looks like the most undersized guard in the entire leauge?

This product is the combination of a bad head coach, a bad play caller, a distracted Tom Brady and Jason Licht (who is a good GM) but has made some very poor decisions this off season.

  8. JimbobBucfan Says:

The GOAT is communicating to us from the inside and looking out. I believe, y’all. Until I know better I have faith.

    Go Bucs!

  9. Biff Barker Says:

This team looks like a dog’s breakfast.

  10. Kody Says:

I’d love for a team of psychologists to go spend a week with Bucs. They seem like a massively DYSFUNCTIONAL organization. I worked at a company like that once and it was terrible. Until they sort out THE CAUSE of their dysfunction, they’re not gonna fix anything.

  11. BucDaWorld Says:

Football is hard. (So is watching your team play like poop)
We’re not playing like we are capable. (Understatement)
We’re in it together. (Everyone but Mike Evans, you forgot he was on the team)
We’ll turn it around. (I hope so, but not confident)

  12. Tampabaybucfan Says:

The key word here is “we’re”…..used it 3 times……like it……simple, precise….and very accurate. I believe him. So should you…..his resume gives him creds…..

  13. gbobucsfan Says:

    alton,
Ben Stein…now I can’t get that voice out of my head. But spot on.

  14. Eric Says:

I admit to being overly optimistic but we were basically a .500 team late in 2020 and won the SB. GB & LA are struggling, we’ll still win the division but we may be looking at a 3 seed, at best. The SF game might be critical.
Still PLENTY of time to turn it around but it’s been frustrating and disturbing to start. EVERY free agent gamble seems to be a whiff.

  15. ZZbucs Says:

I love TB 12 to death, but of course he has to post that after his yelling on camera to his teammates……And to be honest, I didn´t like his yelling….

But what I do like is his willing to turn the situation around!!! That´s why I Love TB 12

  16. AbucAway Says:

As a fellow poster (goatfarmer) would say: talk is cheap because supply>>demand. Make it happen Brady. I hope you aren’t just sh!ting sunshine.

BTW, where is Goatfarmer. Did you have an aneurysm because of the game?

  17. macajubav Says:

ok, so until now I have been advocating a new 25 yo victoria secret model for TB12 but maybe he just needs Giselle back, a nice humm3r and he will be back to normal, what do you say Gis ?

  18. macajubav Says:

stop torturing Tommy Gis, can’t you see how sad he is without you ?

  19. D-Rok Says:

Many commenters here have stated they felt Brady wasn’t completely in it, that he has been distracted. I really can’t argue the validity of that line of reasoning.

Why does Brady have so much street cred? Is it only due to his 7 rings and all them AFC/NFC championship appearances? (14, is it?) Or, is it because during all that winning, Brady had the fire and drive to motivate those around him and will his team, and himself, to play better?

Brady has a unique competitive drive/fire, and that’s what makes him the best QB ever. CAN Brady light a fire under this O and even this team? He HAS done it in the past, so I think it’s possible, yes, that they can turn this around.

Time will tell, starting with this week’s game against the Panthers.

    And yes, GO BUCS!!!

  20. ZZbucs Says:

    “D-Rok

    I agree with your point.

But anyone who practiced a team sports knows that when you miss practices for different reasons, and you are loosing, and when this person is not playing great either, as everbody else, things in the locker room can get weird.

I love TB12 to death, but that doesn´t mean you can´t criticize certain things.

  21. BuckyDent Says:

Hang ‘em up Tom. Went one year too long

  22. macajubav Says:

ZZbucs, when you talk about things in the locker room getting wierd , do you mean with Carl Nassib ?

  23. Redeemer Says:

Here’s a thought, maybe they just aren’t that good. The Superbowl team and last years were much more talented. By my count, they lost 4 future HOFers. Gronk, AB, Suh, JPP. AB will probably never get in, but you get the point. Agree with @ Tbbucs3, licht made some terrible signings. You can’t replace the caliber of players they lost, but he could’ve done more load up.

  24. Mike C Says:

Kody, you do realize this “dysfunctional organization ” was just at the top of the mountain right? If not for a HUGE amount of injuries they would have won it last year as well….. maybe it isn’t as dysfunctional as you think.

  25. beano Says:

He sounds sad. No doubt the weight of his decision causing his family breakup is taking a toll.

  26. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    D-Rok

Correction…..one of his championships was a NFC-AFC matchup….remember that one?

  27. D-Rok Says:

    TBBF,

Not sure I’m getting your point. Every SB played is an NFC/AFC matchup, yes? What am I missing?

The point of my comment above was to bring hope that Brady CAN be a master motivator because he’s done that in the past, as recently as 2020. So, it is possible for this to get better, but it will take a village, and in my opinion, NOW is the time for Brady to be the leader we all think he can be and that he’s done in the past.

All the leaders of this team need to have a serious sit-down with each other and agree on a plan of action going forward to enact positive change. Hopefully, that meeting happened already. Then, that message needs to be sent to the whole team.

It can and should start with Brady, which includes limiting distractions and not missing more time. To the vets, I’m sure TB12 missing time doesn’t bother them that much, but as some have alluded to – his absence might be affecting the younger players much more, especially the offense.

I dunno man…I just don’t know. Something needs to change because this team is too talented to be performing the way they are these last 5 weeks.

  28. D-Rok Says:

Not trying to be smarter than the coaches or think I could do a better job – I probably can’t. Just offering my 2 cents from a fan perspective.

Also, nobody has mentioned that US FANS need to start rallying behind our team, also. Maybe WE can help start motivating this team by being, simply put, less negative?

  29. Listnfrmafar Says:

It’s clear he is stating the BS is over including his, he maybe taking over the offensive reigns. It also sound like he is going to start calling out the other players on the team to get everyone on the same page like 2020. I hope I’m right. FYI Carolina just got weaker and AZ stronger Robbie Anderson traded to the Vards. So when the Bucs play them barring injury AZ will have Conners, Hopkins, Green, Ertz & Anderson. That’s a very good receiving core.

  30. Ash Says:

This team needs you to lead them Tom turn it around but Im gonna have to see it because that Steelers game isn’t it. Go bucs.

  31. Paratrooper Buc Says:

Bucs have the talent but need more leadership to get the fire to win going in the team. Suh/JPP/Jensen and even Gronk helped motivate and lead. We never replaced that void and we need more leaders. Also the coaches need to lead and not just coach. Our offense is the biggest issue and that’s for Leftwich to solve and lead. Brady is like having the cheat codes to a game but if you don’t use him and your players with the right plan then you will lose. I still believe in the team but time is running out if they are going to go all the way. Consistent fire to win in the trenches and leadership are missing. I agree with the “Suh” comments because he might not have the speed but he had fire and leadership.

  32. Bucschamp Says:

This divorce thing is taking a toll on him and I’m pretty sure hes distracted. (I hope Giselle can lighten up a bit and reconsider) And because of this he’s letting BL go on unchecked .
Time to right this ship and we have the right guy who can do it.

  33. Mike Johnson Says:

Superbowls Don’t come around often. We have ours for the decade. Its super hard to repeat or even get back there within a 3 yr time period. Look at how the Rams are struggling now. We expect a lot out of our Bucs. Don’t get mad guys. But this is not a superbowl caliber team we have this year. Not even close. The best we can hope for is the playoffs. And even that is stretching it somewhat. Just watch the inconsistent play of our O and D lines. It will tell you all you need to know. Watch closely. Now, we will beat Carolina handily.

  34. bl4 Says:

No one cares Tom Brady. Results matter, that type of language should have been used in the preseason. Also trade Godwin for Melvin Gordon and KJ Halmer.

  35. Panhandle Buc Says:

If you want to “turn it around” than you need to be ALL IN!! Sorry, but your life IS football from late July – Feb! Comes with the multi-million dollar territory!

  36. Joe G Says:

If it makes brady feel any better he use to beat up on dak to.

  37. Tbbucs3 Says:

“trade Godwin for Melvin Gordon and KJ Halmer”

Trade a pro bowl wide receiver for a 3rd string washed RB and a wide out with 4 catches on the season? Yeesh, some interesting takes on this site that’s for sure.

  38. captivajim Says:

The O-Line can’t pass block, nor can they run block..Licht knew BEFORE training camp that there were 2 pro bowl level O-Line players that he had to replace..He chose to NOT trade for proven guys .
Then the 1st wk of camp in early august -he knew he had to replace Jensen. But again, he chose NOT to trade for a proven center..

this O-line lack of performance is on LICHT.

  39. Leopold Stotch Says:

Joe, I think you missed an opportunity here. One of my friends posted this Instagram on a different platform… With the picture. Not only was Brady in the picture, but Hainsey and Goedeke were the only two in the picture as well. I think this may have been a backhanded way of calling those two out.

  40. Goatfarmer Says:

Tom — sorry, man. You should have made sure BA was staying before you re-upped.

  41. Ladygaz Says:

Tampabaybucfan 100% correct. TB12 resume says it all. Let’s hope the rest of them read it.

  42. Dennis Kisz Says:

I don’t know how many of you have been a Buccaneer fan from the day one, I have been. There were many miserable years. Doug Williams was a really good quarterback but he didn’t have the support like Tom has today. Back then. Every time Tampa played Green Bay both teams were not good, they called it the toilet bowl.
The best thing that ever happened to Tampa was Tony Dungy. He was one of the best coaches in football ever. He put together the team for John Gruden to be able to win the Super Bowl.
Tom Brady has brought more respect to the franchise ever. Cut him a break they will put it all together. I’m talking about offended defense.
    GO BUCS
