Tom Brady Is Not Retiring (Yet)

October 20th, 2022
Tom Brady

Sticking around a while.

Well, at least we know 45-year-old Tom Brady won’t be retiring before the end of the 2022 season.

Recently, former Bucs quarterback and former teammate of Brady’s in New England, Chris Simms of NBC Sports, told a Peacock audience that it would not shock him if Brady up and retired mid-season. Yes, this season.

Simms, like fellow former NFL quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, doesn’t like Brady’s on-field body language as he is going through one of the worst six-game stretches of his career — though his personal numbers are still pretty good.

Joe’s good friend Rock Riley asked Brady if Simms is onto something. Brady got a kick out of this and smiled wide and said, “That’s really why I’m here. I’m here to announce that finally, you guys have pushed me to the brink… No retirement in my future.”

Now Joe is confident Brady was referring to this season. But if you believe what folks are saying about his private life, Brady may stick around longer if he does get divorced and no longer has a wife nagging at him to quit football.

Brady’s numbers show he’s hardly washed.

And yeah, Joe is very open-minded about the possibility of bringing Brady back for another year (or more).

Yeah, all of us who got vaxxed have lost our life force and have begun to grow dorsal fins… Also, the mRNA nano-transmitter to send our location to the deep state so we can be tracked and mind-controlled has really messed up our freedumb.

Chris Simms = Fake News!!! 🙂

He just needs to tell BL to sit down and watch….let Brady take over the play calling!

No chance he come back to this soft, weak, poorly coached train wreck.

  11. Allen Lofton Says:

Simms was not only a piss poor quarterback, but he is even pettier as a sports announcer and person.

  12. beano Says:

He might as well retire he’s spinning his wheels here.

  13. robert Says:

If not for all his other business interests, I could seem him telling BL and TB to F off. Maybe not to the extent of AB, but it wouldn’t be smart not to see it through. Imagine how that would look on TB and BL and in turn Brady?

  14. bucsince79 aka bumaneer Says:

Leave TB12 ALONE…. Jenna LAME & other muckrackers

  15. Bucsfan13 Says:

He’s retiring after the season. The answer was in response to the ludicrous statement by Chris Simms that he would retire mid-season. I also loved how he laughed off Big Ben’s dumb hot take

  16. Beeej Says:

Mid 2020 season there was a LOT of similar talk going on. Mostly the offense wasn’t playing to his strengths

    @sasquatch

I guess you just aren’t smart enough to actually read the patents held by pharma and gates and fauci. One day you will be shaking your head at yourself. You so clever.

    Go away Tommy Boy

  19. SufferingSince76 Says:

You guys throwing shade at Brady are nuts. He’s the best QB this team has ever had and by far a better QB than what is on the roster. You’ve got to be trolling.

  20. Whoolio? Says:

    @sasquatch
Let’s talk about the heart condition I now have after getting the vaccine your so confident about. You making fun of people’s concerns and downplaying side effects by talking about dorsal fins is absolutely disgusting. 🤡🤡

  21. #99 Says:

    @sasquatch,

I also know several people that were perfectly healthy before the vaccine.and now have heart problems.. coincident? I don’t think so

  22. catcard202 Says:

TB12 may not be washed up yet…But the tide has started rolling in.

And today the CDC is voting to put the Coof jab on the children’s “mandatory” schedule for public schools. Children who have zero risk of dying of Coof. They are criminals.

    Prayers to you, Brother.

Chris wants that one back as bad as his appendix i bet.

  26. MONK Says:

I’m concerned….Tom looks gaunt. He’s going thru a rough patch both personally and professionally. He looks like he’s lost weight which is not a good sign. Check out the pics….feel bad for him.

  27. Oneilbuc Says:

He might as well play the NFL is a weak and soft for the quarterback because you can’t hit them anymore. That’s why I say ain’t no goats for the quarterback position . I still believe Elway, Moon, and Marino are better than Brady because they played real football back than. And I don’t care about no rings because I know a guy who got more rings than Jordan who played basketball in the 90s and we know he ain’t even close to Jordan and his name is Robert Horrie. So that’s why rings means nothing when you talking about who’s the goat in a team sport . Ain’t no goats in teams sports .

  28. ClwJB Says:

He might play 2 more years without the ball and chain

Can we get Sean next year and win BTB SB?!?!?!!!?

This coaching staff is better suited in Houston, Jacksonville (not!), or maybe the historical Brownies

USF needs a reboot – that seems about right

  29. Rob In Land O Lakes Says:

He’s not playing his best but he;s still at a high level. If he plays next year but somewhere else, you have Bowles and BL to thank.

  30. Oneilbuc Says:

Listnfrmafart. Brady first 5 years he was a game manger until the Moss years. And Matt Cassel at quarterback they still won 11 games . The NFL is becoming trash and that’s a fact.

  31. Kentucky Buc Says:

    Noneil

  32. August 1976 Buc Says:

Oneilbuc, I guess we can ask Tua if it’s real or not today.

Getting beat up and injured STILL happens every week.

Tua gets his brain scrambled, goes into type of seizure and freaks out many people watching the game, including many former players.

All the more when watching players fall by the wayside because of the physical attrition of playing in the very violent sport, it just proves how good Brady actually is and has been for DECADES now.

DECADES of guys trying to tear Bradys head off, and he still answers the bell.

I do not know why you seem to want top take away from Brady, he nothing left to prove as far as results.

Go talk to Ray Lewis, and Micheal Strahan about Brady, and they will tell you they were knocking the crap out of Brady, and he just gets right back up and keeps on fighting to win like they never even rocked him.

Wether you want to take away from Brady or not, because your comments somehow end up coming out of you like that, Brady has earned the respect of the many Hall of Famers bro, that were putting beatings on him, and sometimes disbelief how Brady would not quit, and be the major reason why Bradys team won the game also, not just finished the game they were playing that week.

And no, the NFL is not trash, still a great brand of Football, no matter how they tinker with it.
I like sports but the NFL has always been my favorite. Yeah I like college football too. But it is just not the Pros.
I like Baseball, Basketball, Hockey and Lacrosse and Soccer and other sports too.

But the NFL even with its flaws has been and will always be mu favorite sport to watch.

    GO BUCS!!!!!!

  33. Kentucky Buc Says:

Matt Cassell won 11 games with the same team Brady went 16-0 with the year before. Yet another false take by Noneil. 6 game winning drives in Super Bowls. Everybody needs a game manager like that.

  35. Bucsfan13 Says:

@KentuckyBuc. Don’t bother arguing with Brady haters. They have a built in narrative that won’t change no matter what you say. Brady literally led the league in TD passes in 2002. Does that sound like a total game manager? Game manager gets thrown out like it’s such a bad thing. Most great QBs need to have a game manager trait. Montana had it. Peyton Manning had it. Brady had it, but he solely wasn’t a game manager.
