Team Glazer Needs To Get Involved

October 23rd, 2022

Bucs owners Joel (left) and Bryan Glazer.

If this is really an all-in Bucs season, which sounds like a joke right now, then the Buccaneers’ owners need to get involved in a hurry.

Time to light some fires and send real messages.

Today’s blowout loss to the hapless Panthers, on the heels of the lowly Steelers sticking it to the Bucs in Pittsburgh, is absolutely the most disturbing two weeks of Bucs football of the 21st century.

Tom Brady is healthy and quarterbacking the team. Tom Brady!

The Bucs also have a bunch of Pro Bowlers sprinkled across the roster. And yet the Bucs were embarrassed by crap teams and three (yes, three) poor quarterbacks.

Coaching isn’t getting the job done and Team Glazer needs to schedule emergency meetings to let everyone know this is unacceptable and jobs are on the line. Something this vile and disgusting can’t be shrugged off. Today’s loss was a huge statement by the Bucs’ coaching staff and the Bucs players: and that loud message should not be tolerated by ownership.

All-in means all-in. Sound the fire alarm tonight in Tampa. There’s still time to fix this season, and at this point, Joe thinks it might only happen if ownership takes a shot.

Clearly, Bowles and his coaches have no answers. And general manager Jason Licht must be in stunned disbelief at how his strong roster is being mishandled.

No excuses, Team Glazer. Time to step up.

    Cupcake kinda day.

  2. Rod Munch Says:

They should get involved, trade Brady to the Dolphins for two 1st rounders.

There’s no hope for this team, with this coaching staff.

  3. Cchead Says:

No choice but to fire Bowles and Leftwich.

  4. sasquatch Says:

We’re not all in now. We are not going anywhere. This season is done. We’re playing for draft position. Brady is certainly regretting coming back at this point.

  5. LOL Says:

Tom Brady is on this team?

  6. HC Grover Says:

Calling Payton. Fire the woke coaches top to bottom and send Arians to Georgia.

  7. LOL Says:

Brady must be pissed. He could be retired and married right now. Trask could do this well tbh

  8. Knucknbuc Says:

This coaching staff needs blown up at this point. I actually thought Byron did better today but he’s been horrible. We all know they’re likely to do nothing though. So this is what we’re stuck with. Ravens might have 400 yards rushing on Thursday by the looks of it. Todd bowels defense is garbage!

  9. ts1212ts Says:

Will Bucs start trading dead weight like #45 to get draft picks. Which team needs a veteran Qb? Miami?

  10. BucsFan81 Says:

Fire sale..let the rebuild start put Trask in to finish out the season

  11. Bucs14 Says:

Look for Brady to make a retirement announcement soon. I wager he won’t finish he season.

  12. ModHairKen Says:

Fire Bowles. Fire Leftwich. And fire Arians. He suggested this.

  13. Rod Munch Says:

Hey it’s been a great run, but go ahead and trade anyone of value and start the rebuild.

It’s OK, they gave it a shot and it didn’t work out. No hard feelings.

  14. David Says:

TERD BOWLES AND BYRON MUST GO!

  15. ModHairKen Says:

21-3. To the Panthers. Who already fired their coach. Seriously.

  16. SB~LV Says:

    Not so fast!
They need to know what they want to do before sticking their noses into the football operations.
Call in Bowels and tell him that this is unacceptable and if he doesn’t go 3-0 he is fired

  17. Gus Says:

Fire Todd! Fire Leftwich! Fire Armstrong!

  18. Mr. Magoo Says:

The Bucs don’t even call a time out on third down for the Panthers with 2:38 left to go? They obviously gave up. Only they gave up after the Rams game last year. Time to blow this team up. Trade Brady to Miami since that is where he wants to go. Maybe we can get a Cuban sandwich for him, they taste pretty good. I’d get more pleasure from a Cuban than I do from the Bucs.

  19. Brian Cawood Says:

Total sh@tshow. Embarrassing. What a waste of a Sunday.

  20. Byedon Leftbitch Says:

I’ve never seen a total collapse like we are witnessing now. This is just epic.
I’m stunned, I’m shocked, and I’m sick to my stomach.

What a dumpster fire. Fire everyone tonight after this game or STFU and enjoy the losses.

  21. FirstTimePoster Says:

    Trask. Gotta find out sometime.

  22. Rod Munch Says:

If you think Trask is anything other than a way to get the 1st overall pick in the draft, LOL! Trask can’t even beat out Gabbert for the backup job and has looked terrible in every preseason game he’s played in. He’s a garbage player, but maybe he can successfully get us a #1 overall pick, we have the tiebreaker on the Steelers and Panthers.

  23. ts1212ts Says:

Game today means sell home tickets and return team merchandise. It’s one thing to be a struggling young team, It’s quite another to be an UNMOTIVATED, veteran team devoid of effort. Fraud.

  24. Roc Says:

Not only do the Bucs lose they get their butts kicked by a NO NAMED QB

    WHAT THE H&$&

GLAZERS WANT FANS TO PAY FOR THIS ???

  25. DungyDance Says:

Messages and meetings aren’t going to cut the mustard. Actions are what’s needed now.

  26. BucsBro Says:

This is a total disaster. Complete disaster, on all levels.

The truth is that Bowles and Leftwich should both be fired. But they probably won’t be.

It doesn’t get any worse than this. An embarrassment. Disgrace.

The only silver lining is that we are still technically leading the division. But with this putrid play, that will be gone soon, too.

  27. Simeon97 Says:

Panthers didn’t want to win, they playing for #1, thats how bad the Bucs were.

  28. EA Says:

That dropped TD by Mike Evans set the tone for the game.
Team lost a lot of leaders, JPP, Suh te name a few.
This team is playing soft, playoff Lenny trying to avoid contact on 4th and 1.
You need a mentally tough coach to handle and motivate players like Lenny and others.

  29. Redeemer Says:

I respectfully offered to leave this site if they lost. Not only did they lose, they got embarrassed. I’m submitting my resignation if the Joe’s accept.

  30. bucs4life Says:

You can thank “Bucco Bruce Arians” for pushing his scrub pals from the Steelers (Leftwich) and Cardinals (Bowles) to become our coaches.

    Thank you “Bucco Bruce Arians”!

Oh, and thank you for your sloppy blitz call against the Rams too, and your blaming of Lavonte David.

  31. Anonymous Says:

Don’t worry, Todd will get them “Baltimore Ready” LOL!!!

  32. ts1212ts Says:

Unmotivated, uninspired veteran team. Consisting of a high number of injury prone CHECK collectors.

  33. Melvin Junior Says:

At least we held-onto that ‘First-Round’ Pick of ours for next seasons NFL-Draft… Since, it is now, looking like a good-one!!!! What a total EMBARRASSMENT… In EVERY facet of the game. I have NEVER, EVER SEEN before, a MORE apparent/better example of ‘Coaching’ being the obvious reason (along with the front office which also goes to the coaching since ‘someone’ decided to put ‘them’ in-charge).

  34. ts1212ts Says:

Why are my posts not displaying? I mentioned trading #45. Is that subject off limits?

  35. B Says:

I’m a glass half full kinda guy and what I got out of this was an AMAZING Halloween costume idea: Pirate Clown. Eh?

  36. DBS Says:

Welcome to the Tampa Bay Jets. Enjoy!!!

  37. Couch Fan Says:

NO. The Glazers will only eff things up more. If the Glazers feel the need to do anything then let it be firings.

  38. Tacklblockwin Says:

I don’t see another win on our schedule anytime soon.

  39. JimmyJack Says:

This team reeks of some internal problem. Without knowing what the problem is the easy narritive is Tom Brady ran off Bruce to run this checkdown offense.

  40. BucU Says:

A total epic failure in the most surreal way possible. I have ZERO interest in supporting this organization any longer. They’re all rich, brittle and lazy. That’s not for me.

  41. ts1212ts Says:

Time to let ownership known this crew is 100% incapable of motivating and coaching up players. Not to mention devising a game plan on either side of the game.

Panthers had effectively 4th string QB. No center, #1 rb, depleted secondary. Your veteran team gets destroyed by tanking team!!

  42. BucU Says:

We’ll talk when this coaching staff is gone.

  43. CrackWise Says:

Its EASY to see, the FRONT RUNNER does not make money for the WiseGUYS

Sports as we know it is a WOKE JOKE

  44. Adrnagy Says:

“Jason Licht must be in stunned disbelief at how his strong roster is being mishandled“

Really ??Like replacing suh for hicks and Logan hall ??

Replacing gronk with two rookies ??

Replacing marpet with a bad rookie??

Replacing JPP with JTS … really ?

Licht screw this up by not replacing leadership and great players.

Great players got replace by rookies.

  45. Melvin Junior Says:

I CANNOT believe they seriously, went into THIS SEASON with THIS Offensive-Line… Signing Julio, Rudolph, & Drafting Hall along with an O-Lineman from CENTRAL. FRICKEN. MICHIGAN. NOT “Michigan,” (or someone, ANYONE, from THE SEC), BUT “Central Michigan!?” THEN, expecting that HE is just gonna step right on in there & play right off-the-bat… NEVER Moving-Up, or ANYTHING… Making NO-Moves… NOTHING. It is mindddd-boggling. A Complete, TOTAL EMBARRASSMENT.

  46. stpetebucfan Says:

Our defensive backfield has talent, but guys who are just fragile.

Carlton Davis our “star” has YET to play a full season. He always misses two to three games. This is what made me worry about the big money!

SMB has missed games his past two years…8 last season and one and counting this year.

Jamel Dean perhaps our most talented DB also struggles to stay on the field.
This is the first season he hasn’t missed games and of course the season is still young. What’s the over/under on the number of games Dean will miss this year.

Tony Dungy used to always say the most important ability is AVAILability. Our defensive backfield is weak by that metric. Hard to gain any real teamwork or ability to know where guys will be if the mix in the defensive backfield is continually changing!

  47. Crickett Baker Says:

It seems like everyone has forgotten the pre-season games AND the ones we won. We didn’t look good in ANY of them. None. I don’t think it is just coaching. The team seems to play well in practice and then when they get in a REAL game they do almost nothing. It’s like they have no clue and are afraid and out of routes to even tackle. I give up.

  48. SRQSalt Says:

    Dear Team Glazer,
Please save our season and your pocketbook.
Bucs have been the NFL’s worst team over the last 10 Qtrs and easily the most underperforming this season. You have done everything you can, stuffing players pockets who aren’t motivated or responding to your coaching staff. A staff that appears to be over the head with no answers on and off the field. You and your fan base are being ripped off. Assuming after the TNF game vs Ravens in front of a National audience will leave our Bucs 3-5, we can turn the season around!! We can be no worse than one game out of first place! Make the move name an interim head coach Friday.

  49. TJ Says:

Whoaaaaaa, we CANT give up on the season. That is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Look at our division. All we have to do is make the playoffs! Period. Yes Leftwich is VERY underwhelming, Bowles is not adapting to added role of head coaching AND running the defense. The coaching staff is a mess. The offensive line coach should be fired, but again all we have to do is get into the playoffs, get healthy and gain a “little” confidence. If Bowles can’t stop the run, and Leftwich can’t figure out a way to establish a run game and keeps calling plays that were only effective 14 years ago, then we did cook our goose. But 10-7 gets us in the playoffs and maybe even 9-8 with tiebreaker. So I’m looking forward to us being on the road as a wildcard underdog. That was our path to the Lombardi before!

  50. LoveMeSomeBucs Says:

Players take on the demeanor of their coaches….Bowles and Leftwich never get angry or amped up like Arians did…team has no fire….Watching Bowles and Leftwich is like watching a blade of grass grow…We don’t commit to the run and Fournette is an indecisive runner and they never give White any consistent work…Scotty Miller can’t ever catch a pass without fallimg down..play 3 man front on 3rd down agaimst every offense…horrible to see this team eating dingleberries

  51. Anonymous Says:

I’m laughing at all the replies here I’m a Tampa fan everyone blames the coaches are we watching different games the coaches aren’t blocking the coaches aren’t dropping passes the coaches aren’t under and over throwing the ball it’s our players let keep it real on both sides if it was Jwinton at center everyone would be blaming him Brady head is not in the game nor with this team accept it people

  52. LakelandSteve Says:

The arrogance of Jason Licht is on display. Instead of getting JPP, we keep JTS who looks every bit like a bust. Instead of getting Suh, no we’re good with Vita and a ham sandwich. A team takes on the personality of the head coach. The head coach is a laid back, won’t get on anyones ass, nice guy.
The Bucs are playing football like a bunch of nice guys. They may not win another game this year.

  53. Ed Says:

Mismanagement at all levels. This team is playing like no one knows what they are supposed to do.

If bad teams like the Steelers and Panthers can shut down the offense and figure out how bad the defense is against the run. Teams that can’t rush against the rest of the league are ripping the Bucs for close to 200 yards every week.

This offense sticks and the defense vs the run is as bad as it gets.

No fire in the bellies of the Buccaneers!

  54. Pewter Power Says:

All these coaches on the roster, right now I’d rather choose one defensive coordinator instead of having co-coordinators. Promote an OC and make Harold Goodwin the coach. Goodwin would have been the better choice anyway

  55. WillieG Says:

🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Bowles needs to be demoted back to defensive coordinator and Bruce Arians needs to come back. Hopefully the owners were smart enough to stipulate that if Bowles sucks, Arians has to return. Hopefully they made that very clear before they let Arians pick his successor.

  56. Buczilla Says:

I bet the new season ticket holders who were forced to buy 2 years worth of season tickets if they wanted any at all are freaking thrilled with the direction of our team. The glazers very rarely do the right thing, so I fully expect for them to sit on their greedy little digits and do nothing while our team continues to implode. Heads need to roll, starting with Todd and Byron, but I ain’t holding my breath. This went from a weird to a pathetic season real quick. Thankfully, there are a slew of supposedly first round qb’s coming out next year.

  57. Doug Says:

    Bowles has no enthusiasm

  58. firethecannons Says:

the glazers will do nothing, todd bowles will fire no one no changes will be made and we will keep losing until we stop which will be long after we surrender first place in the nfc south

  59. Relax Says:

Look relax. We’re going to flip the switch and turn this around starting Thursday.

  60. Carl L Says:

Sometimes you have to sacrifice something so you can be as woke as the Bucs seem to want to be. One thing is for sure. We are woke.

  61. captivajim Says:

Licht will only listen to the Glazers .. Otherwise there will be NO coaching changes , and this might not be a .5500 season..

  62. ClwJB Says:

    Trade before deadline:

    Godwin -NE 1st in 23
    Evans – Baltimore 1,2,3 in 23
    DSmith – Cincy – 2,3 in 23
    Fournette – Rams – 3,4 in 23
DWhite – 7th rd pick, 2 horses and a bag of manure – he sucks out loud
CDavis – no one is taking his contract

I love Evans and Godwin but we need the draft capital, thank you for your service – the rest of them are dead weight

    Time to start over

    Oh and “let”TB retire, tomorrow

This is disgusting to watch and embarrassing for Tom and his legacy

They should get involved, trade Brady to the Dolphins for two 1st rounders.

There’s no hope for this team, with this coaching staff.
    ———————–

you’d be bailing brady out and he would be in another super bowl.

another option, fire all the coaches and bring in sean payton now.

  64. Mackey Says:

Seriously, is there a chance that Arians could come back as HC this season? Players seem to like Bowles, but he does not inspire confidence or the will to win. His best destiny is being DC.

NY Jets are playing great football so far this year, though.

  65. Mackey Says:

I admire posters who are confident that the Bucs will turn it around and beat Baltimore this Thursday. I’m afraid the reality is that the Bucs will be blown out by epic proportions by the Ravens. Just keeping it real.

  66. Tiny Dungy Says:

Best thing Team Glazer could do is to sell the team to TB12 and Giselle.
Let Brady and Giselle figure it out.

Currently, my Bucs swag is too embarassing to wear in public.
