It shouldn’t matter being down 3 corners. After all, like Pittsburgh, we are so incredibly well coached that we will come up with a scheme to shut down DJ Moore and whomever is left. We do that too, right? It’s not like if even ONE player (let alone 3) are hurt, we can’t play our defense.
Like last year against Taylor Heinicke…. there’s NO WAY we can let someone like that beat us, right? Our brilliant coaches will scheme it up and not give up a bunch of 3rd and 9’s, right guys?

On the 3rd down pass to Godwin, he wasn’t open, but on the TV view neither was anyone else. Obviously you’re not dinging Godwin for a drop on that, you’re nuts if you do.
Big thing is Brady had time, even on the 3rd down blitz.
If the defense does its job we should be fine.

One thing that’s getting embarrasing is the amount of progressions in which our WRs are simply not open. That’s not entirely on them, folks. It’s bad playcalling, bad route structuring. Our playbook and game plans have to be on point too to exploit mismatches.

Look at that, a RB screen. See Leftwich, they work, the WR screens rarely work.
They’ve now only ran up the gut once, ran up the middle like 3 times on 2nd down and it’s working better than runnning up the gut on 1st down.

Do what I do, get Red Zone, have that playing with audio, then mute the TV broadcast. Or just stream the game via FoxSports website. You get different commercials than the local broadcast, and while I have it muted, I haven’t noticed any political ads.

I’m normally quick to call out Leftwich, but I really don’t think he’s done poorly today. We should have, at the least, 7 points – and if Bowles isn’t a complete cupcake and punts, I think we get at least another 3 on that drive. If we’re up 10 nothing, the Panthers are pressing, likely get a turnover, we get another score before halftime and all is well.
But a drop, and a cowardly coach is killing the team.

I have come to the realization that the Bucs are not a good team. If we slip into the playoffs, we will be one and done.
Bowels and this entire staff also need to be one and done. There is no reason to beg old man Brady to come back either. He is proof that 45 is finally too old to play quarterback, unless it’s flag football.

Well it’s been a good run.
The Bucs won the SB, and really anything after that has been gravy.
This year was a bonus year, it was supposed to be a rebuild year, they gave it one last run.
Hopefully by everyone writing off Brady, that will somehow turn it around.
But you can’t overcome a voodoo curse or a witches hex, so the only solution here is for Brady to grovel to Gisele and get back together. Short of that, it’s over.

The Bucs aren’t a good team, right now. If they did somehow make the playoffs, which seems very much like a longshot, they’d have to play much much better than they are now, and that team, a much much better team, could have a shot, and with Brady, you always have a shot. But Brady has always had good coaching before, be it Bill or Arians – he’s never had to overcome defenses and his own coaches.
Regardless, it was a good run.

Byron is starting to figure some things out. One of them is that if you’re going to run Lenny behind this junk line, use a lead blocker for him (Ko). Let him get some momentum built up before he gets hit.
For White, you don’t have to do that. But Lenny needs the lead blocker with this poor blocking up front.

Todd Bowles is the common denominator and clearly doesn’t hold anyone accountable, and the offense has zero creativity. Bowles isn’t HC material and Leftwich couldn’t score 30 per game in Madden. It’s remarkable how Bowles will blitz the hell out of good QBs, yet with bad QBs, he just plays soft defenses, gives up tons of easy passes, then if they make one good throw, they put up points.
When you’re playing bad defense, literally blitz with 6 or 7 men on every play, and you come up and jam the WRs at the line. Maybe you still give up a big play, but you’ll at least get some turnovers in the meantime.
Instead, this idiot, turns backups into all-pros by putting zero pressure on them and giving them all day to read the field.

This is an 8-9 football team. Jensen nor Gronkowski, covers up all the ills with this football team. Problem with the defense? Refer to Devin White and Gholstons comments about “getting bored” when it came to stifling Atlanta in the 4th quarter. Those two clowns and the rest of the circus on defense can only stop a team with 2 healthy O-linemen and three guys off the street (See Chiefs super bowl game). Remember, this organization had a defense that prided themselves on leading the league in 3 and outs, and ran off the field together after doing it. This joke of a defense gets “bored”…so much for defending every blade of grass. I won’t get into comparing greatness of yesterday with the garbage of today. Just know that pride and effort NEVER goes out of style. Problem with the offense? Just look at who’s calling the plays…enough said. At this rate they should be picking in the high teens with the 2023 draft.

On that defense series, you had Delany on the perfect call, blitzing the edge, should have wrapped up the RB 5 yards in the backfield on 3rd down. Then the next play, you have a blitz, and #27 should be your outside contain man and he gets swept inside. Then the following play, Bowles goes to a super soft zone, gives Walker all day to sit in the pocket with zero pressure, and it’s a TD.
The first two plays, the players let down a good call. The 3rd play was Bowles being an idiot, and it was 100% on him.

This offense has quit on Leftwich & Brady. Now it’s looking like this defense has quit on Bowles. I wouldn’t be at all surprised now to see us be 3-7 returning from Europe.

Miller… at this point I think we should be sellers and not buyers. This team isn’t going anywhere this year. Time to start lining things up for a new HC, with some nice draft picks. To win a division, get wiped out in the first playoff game, and end up with a 20 something draft pick won’t do us much good in the next few years, with a salary cap squeeze and few quality draft picks.

If Todd Bowels was a great head coach, he would have an impressive WL record and a few Super Bowls under his belt. The fact is, he sucked before as a HC, he sucks now, and we all know he was probably hired for other reasons.

Another LOSS this week to a team that was 1-5!!! Should’ve Won last week against Pittsburgh & this week with the Panthers. Those two match-ups were probably the easiest 2 Wins that Tampa Bay could’ve had….and they blew it!!! Next on to the Baltimore Ravens then the LA Rams!!! They’re going to bury us! This team is sadly finished- No one showed up!!! Our Head Coach needs to go!!! We’ve lost every Pre-Season Game and only Won 3 games this season so far! We’re going backwards just fell to second position in our division with Todd Bowles being our head Coach! What’s it going to take to get rid of him??!!! Bring back Bruce Arians as Todd Bowles has us going to the Toilet Bowl- NOT THE SUPER BOWL!!!

This team had a meeting earlier this week -a players only meeting and that didn’t get us anywhere. We need Receivers!!! Julio Jones is out and we’re just injury plagued this season. Brady is handing off the ball more than throwing it because he doesn’t trust anyone to complete a pass. Can’t Win games with Field Goals. What was the coaching staff thinking running a hand off play to Godwin? Throw the ball to him??!!! We absolutely suck in the Red Zone since Gronk left the team- how can we play an Entire Game and only score a Field Goal??!!! There’s High School teams that can play better than they did today. Sad and Embarrassing…won’t be wearing a Tampa Bay Suck-aneers Jersey for a long time. This team just gave up and the Coaching Staff needs to be fired. Pitiful & Embarrassing Loss!!!!
