Lengthy Injury Report

October 13th, 2022

Injury and status updates.

The Bucs had six — count ’em, six! — players who did not practice today as the Bucs prepare for the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Here are the names of the guys that did not practice and their injuries: Will Gholston (rest), Chris Godwin (hip/knee/rest), Akiem Hicks (foot), Julio Jones (knee), Sean Murphy-Bunting (quad) and Logan Ryan (foot).

The Bucs players who did practice but were limited due to injuries were Mike Edwards (elbow), Russell Gage (ankle) and Donovan Smith (elbow).

So those are the guys to monitor tomorrow when the Bucs come out with the final injury report for the game at Pittsburgh.

Sounds like good news on Edwards and D Smith.

Hicks, Julii, SMB and Logan Ryan prob won’t play.

  2. Tampabaybucfan Says:

I believe Gage has been playing with an injury(s) the entire season…….he has done well….not great…..but I believe we should cut him some slack….at least he plays.
We miss Logan Ryan more than Hicks, Julio & others……

Sounds like we will have Evans, Godwin, Gage Perriman & Muggable Scotty…..

  3. Show Me the TDs Says:

Did you mean 4? Are Hicks and Jones even on the team? I can tell you, they won’t be missed. It ‘s unlikely you can miss something you never had.

  4. Redeemer Says:

If it’s any consolation, I pulled my hamstring in a YMCA basketball game yesterday. Seriously, Who the hell is the trainer down there? Alex Guerrero is being stingy with his rubber bands.

  5. alton d green Says:

i’ve read a few times that some school systems in Fl are going to go with the TB12 method. I say we need to make the Bucs use it too. It seems like our players are like Mr Burns on the Simpsons

  6. Goatfarmer Says:

I like Gage a lot. He is grit, a fighter, and he is doing what he can with a bad hammy.

Then there’s Julio, stealing the team blind. An atrocity.

  7. Redeemer Says:

alton, BlahahHa. Remember C. Montgomery Burns’s Guerrero is smithers

  8. The Beer Whisperer Says:

Just watching, and reading about the Bucs, I got sore.
I bought a hot-tub today, and told the wife I’m going on IR.

No more chores around the house for me, until I’m feeling better.

joe bucs moderators are woke left pu**ies. Isn’t your kind of response, exactly the kind of comment that would come from someone you’re accusing Joe of impersonating? Joe and the interns aren’t here clearing comments every minute of every day. –Joe

  10. kyle Says:

listening to bradys interview.. Laine is the most annoying interviewer we have. She doesn’t understand how to be succinct and get to the point with her questions… she just rambles on and asks really dumb questions.. I thought she was great before she made the move to espn.. maybe they are forcing her to be a

  11. Goatfarmer Says:

The only way the Bucs can win Sunday is if DardOn’s toof has healed and he is no longer in the kind of pain Vita Vea just laughs at.

  12. Listnfrmafar Says:

I guess this isn’t too bad, Lions lost 5 DB’s last game.

  13. Kentucky Buc Says:

Bowles woke up Jenna when she and another reporter wanted to play the black head coaches going against each other. Well done Todd. If you haven’t seen it do your self a favor and watch.

  14. unbelievable Says:

@tbbf – 100%, Gage has not been healthy since training camp. At this rate, I feel he will probably be banged up the entire season.

@kyle the college freshman – you clearly don’t spend much time here if you think the Joes are woke leftists. LOL.

  15. Pelsbuc61 Says:

Lots of $$$ paid for not playing. That’s why an 89% Suh is better than all these clowns.

  16. LakelandSteve Says:

Julio Jones is going to be in Canton when he is done. I doubt he wants to go out like this. I am sure if he could be out there and contribute that he would. The fact is he played on concrete in Atlanta all of those years and his body is falling apart. It may just be time for him to step away.

  17. Kentucky Buc Says:

Did you go Woke Joe ? Say it ain’t so Joe

  18. Redeemer Says:

Julio’s legs are shot I’m afraid. If he stays healthy for any three game stretch, it will be a minor miracle. You shouldn’t need him to beat the Steelers, or Panthers.

  19. Listnfrmafar Says:

Vrabel is laughing his arse off. You want him Bucs you can have him. AJ Brown on the other hand stud!

  20. AbucAway Says:

Julio Jones and a Super Bowl victory/ring would make my NFL year. I truly hope he can push through this and help get us there. The BUCS need him… And Gronk… And Suh

  21. Redeemer Says:

Exactly listn, he had an up close look at the ghost of Julio Jones. I can’t gloat too much. I was all in on Hicks and his feet.

  22. Rod Munch Says:

    Has Brady practiced all week?

  23. Steve Says:

The entire league has become very brittle, and unfortunately it’s making games unwatchable. We used to complain about having to pay full price for pre-season games and only seeing the starters for a 2-5 quaters over the course of the preseason.. Now they don’t play the starters at all so the first four games of year are the new preseason games in regards to quality of football being played in these games as the players are getting reaclimated to being hit causing all these injuries because the players went from zero contact to full contact for four full quarters at once instead of full contact a little at a time over the preseason. Now it seems like we pay full price for 7 garbage games and the rest of the games are watered down because they feild a team of healty starters.

  24. Goatfarmer Says:

The NFL is a clown show. I just watched some CFL this week. Far more entertaining, and, as a bonus, there are teams on which Jalen DardOn could be a 3rd WR. Promising stuff.

  25. Redeemer Says:

I bet Alabama could beat Washington. Just casino blitz that stiff Carson Wentz every down.

  26. Goatfarmer Says:

Wentz really does blow – as apparently do Wilson, Ryan, Mayfield, Trubisky (but we all knew he sucked wang).

Shows us how hard it was for TB12 and how great he’s done / is still doing. Changing systems and all.

Het Bloneilsuky’all — what up, girl? I’m sure you have insight into why these others simply suck when going to a new system, but the one guy who makes this franchise relevant, you make every excuse for why he should get out of the way. If you’re not too busy with your Jameis poster, maybe you could comment. Naa nevermind. It’s probably time for your cotillion ceremony.

  27. Howard Cosell Says:

Howard is on IR with wicked hemorrhoids, but he still plans to suit up for work and power through his injury. LFG!

  28. Anonymous Says:

    Hey Howard Cosell,

Are you the poster formerly known as Medicated Pete?

  29. Listnfrmafar Says:

Howard, I’ve fought through work a few.times with gout, Hicks, kiss my arse.
