It’s Wednesday, But Tom Brady Is Practicing

September 21st, 2022

This one is too funny. As Joe wrote Sunday when NFL.com broke the news that Tom Brady would take Wednesdays off the rest of the season, it was subject to change … and it has.

Brady is on the practice field today at One Buc Palace.

Check out the FOX-13 video below from Kevin O’Donnell.

Brady took days off last year during the regular season, but there were many weeks when he practiced every day, including before losses to New Orleans and Washington in midseason. Brady likes to practice and has spoken openly about how valuable it is.

Perhaps he’ll take tomorrow off. Maybe.

A nothing burger turned into a nothing burger is what your saying,

  2. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

I hope Brady and his wife have it all worked out. You know what they say ? Happy Wife Happy Life

  3. Jeff Says:

Probably got in a fight and said frack that. So he came to the place where everybody knows his name.

  4. EEK Says:

    Workaholics do as workaholics do

  5. Jack Sparrow Says:

I think they are only allowed 11 vacation days during the season and he already used all of it. So, no more vacation leave for Brady.

  6. firethecannons Says:

obviously this is the last year–she needs to get it together, accept it graciously then Brady can do something else–not sure being a broadcaster is gonna mean plenty of free time for him.

  7. Redeemer Says:

With Evans suspended and all the injuries, Brady probably realizes they need every possible practice snap this week.

  8. CrackWise Says:

The wifey was relieved to see his wink wink my ring finger is hurt/thinking of you babe during the game.

So she told him, go do you babe, I don’t REALLY need you here on Wednesday’s after all.

Thus, he is back at practice. BRADY is the MAN

  9. David Says:

I started out saying most of it’s no big deal but it’s making me worried now. As focused as he is, if his home life is not doing so well and volatile and going back-and-forth with decisions, it’s going to affect him. There’s no way it cannot. And they do not need that right now because there are no lineman or receivers

  10. Rayjay1122 Says:

Usually I agree with the happy wife happy life saying and for me that is extremely true in my life. However when it comes to the GOAT I think a different saying prevails and that is, happy Brady, happy Lady.

  11. LOL Says:

Probably pissed that he has played poorly the 1st two games of the year.

  12. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Brady realizes the importance of this game….could be the tie breaker for the NFC bye….

And, I think he wants to throw a few to Cole.

    Was Julio out there?…..>Godwin? Wirfs?

  13. a-bomb Says:

He is there because they have the Pack this week. He knows how important this game is for NFC seeding. When the Panthers and Falcons are on the schedule he will take Wed. off.

  14. SPARKY Says:

I’m thinking it means we see Beasley Sunday? Which probably means some of our receivers aren’t playing Sunday.

  15. Buc4evr Says:

Was Beasley practicing with Brady today?

  16. CrackWise Says:

    @Rayjay1122

    LOL, cute!

  17. Cobraboy Says:

You don’t bring in a Cole Beasley…who no doubt Brady helped recruit…then don’t have Brady practice with him.

  18. Hodad Says:

In Tom I trust. He knows when, and how to step up.

  19. DBS Says:

Exactly. Evans out and Beasley comes in. They have to get as much time in as possible.

  20. richardtyson Says:

Did Brady throw a tablet at the sprinkler causing the water leak shown in the video?

  21. Jo Says:

Does she really want him back. In reality the worst could still be to come. Primadonnnas never stop being all about me.

  22. pewter941 Says:

    Is Beasley practicing?

  23. Aaron Says:

She must of took the kids lol

  24. SB~LV Says:

He better be, there is a game on Sunday!

  25. Crickett Baker Says:

I firmly believe Giselle is going through a mid-life crisis. She needs to talk to someone. This is difficult to navigate on your own. Tom can do almost anything for her and it will not solve her issues.

  26. MadMax Says:

No Evans this next one….thats why. He knows how and will figure it out. Just getting on the same page as his other receivers…..thats what Alphas do….whatever it takes!

  27. Jeagan1999 Says:

Will mis ME13, but I like the Beasley signing! He’s got reliable hands, runs great routes and gets into and out of his cuts quickly….a real TB12 kind of guy!!

  28. AKicknTheBucNuts Says:

Must work on his forward tablet pass.

  29. Pewter Warrior 813 Says:

Perriman, Beasely, Gage and hopefully Julio…

Brady needs the work to practice with these new targets.

Too bad injury prone Godwin can’t stay healthy

  30. Listnfrmafar Says:

He said, “Yo Giselle, I never asked you to stop being a woman, please don’t ask me to stop being a man!” She nodded her hear head and said, ” Win Rock, I mean Tommy, win!”

  31. stpetebucfan Says:

    @Crickett

I didn’t know you had a PhD in Psychology. SHE needs to see someone.

I’m as thrilled as everyone that TB is ADDICTED TO FOOTBALL. But I’m not his wife nor his kids. TB is free to do what he wants but NONE of us know what promises he made to Giselle or how long ago.

Why does this story need a villain. It’s a marital dispute!!! I don’t want anybody mucking around MY marriage. We have enough challenges. Giselle is not the heavy here!!!! Nobody…NOBODY knows what their prior “football agreements” were!

And sometimes our posters like Cricket literally end up exposing that ignorance as in…”Tom can do almost anything for her and it will not solve her issues.”

What are her issues? Do you know Crickett? Money? Well, according to Celebrity Net Worth, Bündchen is worth $400 million, which is double what her husband Tom Brady is worth. IE…Giselle can buy and sell TB!

What could he do for her. QUIT so she doesn’t have to hold her breath everytime an OL misses an assignment. You know this is an active family that likes to ski and do things right? Have any of you ever seen Alex Smith’s knee.
He played on it miraculously but he surely can’t ski on it and he’ll be a gimpy walking guy the rest of his life.

Giselle and Tom are relatively young. They have decades ahead of them. I do not feel it’s inappropriate for a wife to wonder what kind of life that’s going to be.

Again for purely SELFISH reasons I’m glad TB is still playing. But I totally get Giselle’s upset and I don’t even know what “arrangements” they had agreed to about his retirement.

Health is everything! Once it’s gone ya gotta wait until the next life to reclaim it

  32. Listnfrmafar Says:

stpete, ya had me in your corner but the next life thing killed the mojo.

  33. stpetebucfan Says:

Sorry list it’s my age LMAO. When you hit 75 you start looking ahead. LOL

  34. Alvafan Says:

I sold my electrical contracting business and took a hiatus at 40. The kids were 3 and 5 years old. I had to work 18 hours a day 7 days a week to keep the place going. It was a hard decision to walk away. I hurt a lot of peoples feelings but my family was more important so I took 10 years and it was the best 10 years of my life and went traveling together to see this great country (and Canada) from sea to sea. When I finally got back to work I was asked to take a physical for the insurance. Yep you can guess the rest. I been fighting cancer and the side effects of treatment (worse) ever since. I thank the big guy everyday for that 10 years

  35. orlbucfan Says:

stpete, you are right. Giselle makes more $Ms with her beauty empire than Methusaleh12 will in 10 lives. He probably told her he was done when TB won the SB. He reneged on it. She’s got every right to raise holy hell. He gets his neck broken in a sack as he is 45, and the Bucs offense is hurt, then what? Gabbert stinks but Trask has shown real promise. Giselle is aware of it. His performance Sunday will tell a lot, believe me.

  36. captivajim Says:

    hopefully he’s working with Beasley…

  37. Whit Says:

I think he enjoys messing with the media

  38. westernbuc Says:

Honestly this is a great troll

  39. Listnfrmafar Says:

Alvafan, sorry for your current health issues and hope you beat it. Congrats to you putting yourself in a situation where you have that option. And yes TB12 clearly is as well. On the other hand I am not sure if you played a sport at the highest level. Brady’s whole identity is built from being the underdog and defying the odds. He has become the very best at his profession, to just turn that off has to be very difficult. There are players that either were forced or simply retired that committed suicide from the emptiness in their lives. I guess it’s a double edged sword and clearly you made the best decision for you and your family.

  40. adam from ny Says:

looks like no days off to me…………………………

    #WayToGoTommyB

  41. geno711 Says:

You know Giselle was telling Elle magazine this same stuff in 2018.
She did it again in 2022 and now all us Bucs fans are hearing it for the 1st time.

Reading the 2018 article in Elle (a simple search will find it), she has been upset with him on his continued dedication to football since at least that year.

They even sought counselling back in 2017 or 2018 from reading the article.

Now has it reached a bigger issue this year?
Possibly, but I also think there is an end of the tunnel for Giselle. This seems like the year for sure. Tom made the concessions, taking the time off in training camp. Giving a few more days off during the year. The Bucs wanted him badly and made other concessions for him.

Seems like a win for us fans.

  42. BUC IT Says:

Brazilian women are hot but they are drama queens. Giselle will be fine in a month or so and then Brady will be happy and playing better soon.

  43. MadMax Says:

^ Theyre all drama…it boils down to is it worth it, lol. ive had quite a few but then they stopped being worth it. Now I come and go as I please and do whatever the F I want when I want.

  44. Bucschamp Says:

If Tom stops playing football his health will decline fast. Giselle should be thankful her partner is in very good health at this age.

  45. SCBucsFan Says:

    Lol Jeff….. Sounds about right

  46. Tom lamphier Says:

Tom only knows one thing, work hard. That’s why he’s the best.
